@LS888 I'm so sorry about your MMC. I can imagine hearing a heartbeat brings a lot of reassurance (if no guarantees - such a difficult process isn't it)

@Firsttimetrier yes 8w seems like a better idea, I've read the stats are fairly positive if you have a strong ultrasound at this point too. I know it's silly because it's rare, I've just got it in my head that I'm paranoid about ectopic so hoping a scan would help me be a bit calmer!

LS888 · 19/05/2024 09:52

@coffeerocket not silly at all! We had one at 9 weeks and it definitely helped to reassure us. I think you always worry as mums it’s just second nature 🤣

92Char · 19/05/2024 10:16

Is anyone else feeling really hungry. Yesterday I ate more than usual but was feeling hungry even 30 mins after dinner. Woke up this morning with a rumbling stomach, it's so strange!

Vik27 · 19/05/2024 10:23

@92Char yes definitely I find I’m so hungry these past few days. I have to get up and eat not long after I wake up

CubandPug · 19/05/2024 11:33

Woke up this morning and my nausea, exhaustion and sore boobs etc have all vanished like the flick of a switch, I'm 6+1 so I'm assuming the worst I think. I could barely move since Thursday the nausea was so horrendous and now nothing at all

I had a positive test yesterday. 1-2 weeks on a digital but I do ovulate late. Predicted due date of 26th January but suspect it may be a little later than that or potentially early Feb.

I already have a 9 month old baby girl. So by the time baby two comes she will almost be 18 months old. Scared but excited about this next step!

Looking forward to chatting!

I'm also going to have an 15 month old when this baby is born, it's going to be carnage 😂

LS888 · 19/05/2024 13:07

@Lovedatforme we will both be in the same boat then 😬

LS888 · 19/05/2024 13:08

@CubandPug keep positive! Some people do get less symptoms at some point. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

MrsNT · 19/05/2024 14:47

Hiya can I join. Very early days here but had some rib pain . Anyone else has this?

Lemonyfire · 19/05/2024 15:12

@CubandPug symptoms really fluctuate in these early weeks , I've never found it reliable! Even with my boobs it's like one day on one day off re soreness so trying not to read into it xx

Mama2b99 · 19/05/2024 15:24

So random but I've really been craving cold cloudy lemonade! A fresh homemade one !

so crisp and refreshing😭

Anyone craving citrus?

Havasham · 19/05/2024 15:25

@CubandPug echo what others have said, keep positive! I felt worse between week 5 and 6 than I do now at 7+ x

Me too!! I also found that protein really helps keep the nausea at bay, so I've been having sausage baps for breakfast and they have been a godsend! No more dry heaving and gagging! 🙌. I do get a bit nauseous if I'm getting hungry, but anything protein really helps!

MrsNT · 19/05/2024 17:57

First few works are very scary

MrsNT · 19/05/2024 17:58

I've definitely had twinges. Mostly on my left side. I keep having to resist to do another test. It's hard to get my head around it tbh!

Mama2b99 · 19/05/2024 19:01

Guys whoever isn't experiencing symptoms don't worry too much,

All women are different, I know women who didn't have morning sickness throughout entire pregnancy's and other women who had it so bad they had to be in hospital.

Im 5 weeks now and only have a bit of sore boobs which go and come.

Take it easy and don't stress x

Really do echo this! Had a friend who didn’t know she was pregnant until week 14! Absolutely no symptoms whatsoever!

Makes me so nervous everytime I get a twinge

CubandPug · 20/05/2024 07:57

Thanks you were all right, I should have enjoyed feeling better yesterday because I feel awful again today 😂

MrsNT · 20/05/2024 10:51

Woke up with armpit pain today. Armpit feels sore to touch. New thing everyday. Anyone else have this?,

DaringlyDizzy · 20/05/2024 10:56

Feeling very upset atm. Woke with cramps and bleeding EPU never bleeding answer - I have gone a little mad and called over 30 times.
I won't be able to cope if its another MC. Not 8 weeks after the last one

I don't have that but I do have an unbelievably sweaty crotch. I woke up to discover my legs were so sweaty. Otherwise feeling okay today though. Honestly it's a bit nervy though - I keep going to check it is just sweat. I am not looking forward to it getting any hotter 🥵

belleissmart · 20/05/2024 10:58

@daringlydizzy sending you so much love. Hope they pick up soon

Katie1989xx · 20/05/2024 11:05

@DaringlyDizzy hope you are ok. Sending lots of love ❤️
