Hi all!!
I am SO PLEASED TO SAY I CAN JOIN HERE WOOOO!

After a year of trying I fell pregnant in Feb. Unfortunately it was an ectopic and everything was over with by March. I was very likely in that it was managed really well with lots of care and attention. I was then referred to reoccurent miscarriage clinic as it was my third but the appointment was pushed from May to September and then October. In April my period returned and once was all it took. SO excited and scared and all the feelings. Still in shock. Tested slightly early with a FRER and cant stop looking at it!!! Due around 25th Jan

Haha welcome! Really hope this one is the one that works out for you 🥰 I'm due 19th Jan currently.

Will they give you early scans due to ectopic? Xx

DaringlyDizzy · 13/05/2024 10:29

Forgot to mention symptoms - SUPER tired and crampy. Hungry too.

I have one DC who is 5.

@ThelastRolo20 I hope so. Currently on hold to the GP. I found out this morning and then work has meant I wasnt able to call at 8am sharp so not hopeful re appointment

@DaringlyDizzy congrats!! Happy to see you here. I recognise your name from another thread although not sure which one 🤣 were you on the Due in November thread maybe?

Hello,
Yep that was me! I had the really faint lines and then the bleed. It ended up as an ectopic. I thought I recognised your name!

CadoAvo · 13/05/2024 11:51

@DaringlyDizzy ahhhh okay! Well congrats again. I was due 20th November but then had a miscarriage at 7 weeks. Managed to get pregnant again without a period and currently 5+1 🤞🏼

Help!
This is first pregnancy and not too sure what is going on, how it all works etc in regards to next steps.
Took test on Friday and it said 1-2 weeks (which from ovulation I understood this would be the case) and phoned doctors but they said to phone back at 6 weeks. So I assumed I would have to wait a month.
But then I look up NHS and apparently I'm considered 5 weeks pregnant from last period. So what do I do?
Phone doctors this Friday or wait another month?

And I feel odd and anxious and just all over place emotionally. Really want to be a mum but is this normal to be all over the place?

Yes, 6 weeks from last period, so call back later this week or the next! Not sure what your doctors will do though. I just self-referred to my local maternity unit, which is the standard at the moment!

Yes your pregnancy starts on the first day of your last period. Use the nhs due date calculator online and then work off that date 😊

Feeling relieved to see 3+ weeks on the digital I’ve just taken (6 weeks tomorrow).

If it’s like my last pregnancy, the nausea will hit at some point this week…

Anyone else removed from the group chat on WhatsApp ? 🤣 I hadn't got around to he introduction part , didn't realise there was a limit on it 🙄🤣

DaringlyDizzy · 13/05/2024 14:12

I added myself to the WhatsApp community page and then was removed?

Weird right? In ref to your intro comment - where we meant to say hello immediately? I was still pending approval to the chats so couldnt! Ive just messaged the admin directly.

I am 6 weeks today - we are pretty much on the same timeline! I started to feel nauseous this weekend and it's been really bad today. I had no nausea at all with my pregnancy back in October, and I made it to 9.5 weeks with that one... it's crazy how every one can be so different!

I've been on it for about a week, just a simple message saying they had to remove us would have been considerate, it's quite rude but whatever !

Weird, it defo wasnt when I joined. Plus a quick message would have been polite. I have easily messaged the admin directly on whatsapp - they could have done the same!

I've my first appointment Wednesday to confirm the pregnancy and it will officially start from there then. I'll probably do another test tomorrow just for my own peace of mind . The fatigue is unreal. I keep waking up at night and the sleeping during the day while the small one is in Creche and the days where I'm not working.

Summerrose24 · 13/05/2024 14:38

I was removed from the WhatsApp too 😆 I'm due 13th Jan based on my dates so 5w today. Feeling fine, had a burst of energy yesterday and exhausted today!

I prefer using this anyway, find it easier to keep track. This is me as well, I'll have days where I'm flying around but then just crash. I'm going to ask to have my iron levels and stuff checked as I had low iron on my last pregnancy

I prefer on here too and was a bit gutted to see everyone migrating over to WhatsApp as I didn’t want to join as I struggle to answer my messages already 😂

Hopefully this thread will remain active as it’s always great to go through this with people at the same stage!

DecemberRose19 · 13/05/2024 16:03

Hi everyone - a message from the WhatsApp group. We've decided to cap the numbers at 50, this is mainly because it was created to get to know other mums on a more personal level, and we had to put a limit on numbers at some point otherwise there were just just too many messages to keep up with or really get to know anyone.
Also, there is an element of transparency - it had been explained several times that members needed to have their name and photo visible and also interact with the group - obviously not everyone can message every day, but there were some people who never interacted at all. We are sharing very personal things on there and just wanted to make sure our info stays as safe as possible ❤️
For those who were removed - this was the reason why and there was also a poll and several warnings - it wasn't anything personal!
It might be an idea for someone to make a second group if lots of people on this thread still want one 😊

CadoAvo · 13/05/2024 16:08

If anyone wants to set up a Facebook group I'd join ❤️ (too nervous to make one myself due to my previous loss and not want to get ahead of myself)

That's how I feel too and partially reason as to I wasn't engaging with the WhatsApp just yet at such an early stage, was waiting for 12 week scan. A facebook group is definitely a nice idea but I'm going to wait a bit before I join as it's all a bit overwhelming 🤣
