@fizzyfantatwist Hi! I had the exact same thing. Ovulated similar time to you. Went for a scan at EPU on Friday 15th and all they could see was a yolk sac and said I was closer to 5 weeks than the 6+2 I’d dated myself from LMP. They rebooked me for this Thursday (28th) to check again. I already had a private scan booked for Thursday 21st so I went to that and saw the heartbeat and was dated at 6+5 which was closer to what I’d thought. Hope you have good news for your scan on Thursday 🤞🏻 Your dates are so similar to mine I think it was just too early so stay positive!! xxx

What's everyone putting for "Date of Conception" on the Chinese gender predictior thing? I don't know the date we conceived! 😅

1yearplan · 25/03/2024 16:10

@Cloclomarie I'm 7w3d and don't have any symptoms. I've had symptoms in my previous pregnancies too, so it was a bit worrying to begin with.

@Starrysky812 if you don't know your date of conception, you could google another one? Some just ask for your month of conception.

Mine is an IVF pregnancy with a frozen embryo transfer so this was also challenging for me 🤭 - technically that would make it November 2021 and the same date as my 19mo 😆 - I ended up doing my transfer date. Maybe do it based on you LMP plus 2 weeks?

November 2024 Babies- Part 2!

Does anyone feel permanently hungover minus the alcohol? I feel so fatigued and just queasy and off. Loads of food aversions!

Meatballsandpasta · 25/03/2024 16:24

@Sparksi that is basically what pregnancy sickness is, isn't it? Dehydrated and being a bit off nutritionally is what causes both sets of symptoms.

smilethrough · 25/03/2024 16:26

ahh here you are! hi ladies 👋🏼 ive made it to 6+1! (by my counting) im so looking forward but nervous for the private scan at 8+5 hoping everything goes well, its so strange being pregnant again in my mid 30s i thought id finished in my mid 20s but im so happy about it.. im a bit worried about telling my kids, not sure how they will take it because of them all having the same father but this baby is with my partner now (not my ex husband) so im quite nervous.. hope they all take it well 😕

symptoms wise sore boobs, tired as hell, and i dont like tea ☕️ anymore.. i used to drink so many cups of tea and now it tastes not nice at all. ive been enjoying orange and apple juice. food too - nothing is good to me i just eat sandwiches or rice, or just like bland stuff noodles. only a tiny bit of nausea thus far thankfully

xxxx

@Starrysky812 here you go 😊

Mine says girl 🥰

Starrysky812 · 25/03/2024 16:28

Thank you ladies! Well I've checked the chart @Riverstardust and it's certainly right for my DD! I think I ovulated at the very end of February or very beginning of March so it's either going to be a girl or a boy!

I'm keen to wait and have a surprise but DH wants to do a gender scan. We have a boys name but no girls name, so I suppose if we found out we were having a boy, it would save a lot of name discussion! 😂

Pregnancy sickness is thought to be to do with the HCG in your system, although dehydration and not eating what you should certainly won't help!

Hi! Thank you for getting back to me. So pleased for you you've heard the heartbeat, that's amazing!!
Wow our dates are so similar, so hopefully it was just too early for me too and we see good progress on Thursday (28th). I hope your next scan goes well that day too!
I felt sure of my ovulation date due to lh testing, temperature tracking and letrozole so I did think I'd be further along but from your experience it sounds like they can catch up to closer to what you thought. Thank you for giving me some hope!! Xx

'Could either be a boy or girl' 😂😂 best reply.

We're the opposite, can only think of girls names we like.

y0rkier0se · 25/03/2024 17:38

@smilethrough I’m exactly the same - missing cups of tea so much but they just turn my stomach! I’ve been drinking the odd bit of full sugar pop which is something I’ve never ever had, I’ve always been Diet Coke but now can’t stomach it! Mainly drinking fruit juice and water. Isn’t it mad how much our preferences change!

@Starrysky812 here you go 😊

Thanks for sharing this! It's correct for my first child (girl) and it says this will be a boy! I'd love a boy for one of each, but also a girl would mean I hadn't been unnecessarily hoarding toddler clothes in the loft for the last 3.5 years!

Riverstardust · 25/03/2024 18:23

@Rolly321 no worries, far easier to understand!!

Jellybelly888 · 25/03/2024 19:09

@smilethrough welcome! I have also been off cups of tea and all of a sudden I hate mayonnaise. Loving tuna and salad cream sandwiches with loads of butter, which is odd for me but there we go! Keeping me and the baby alive!

Starrysky812 · 25/03/2024 20:20

@Riverstardust gosh we're really struggling with girls names! Need to do some research!
@Rolly321 we're the same - I have all DD's clothes in storage so it would definitely make things more straightforward! She'll be 2 in December so it'd be a lovely age gap for two sisters 🩷 however like you I'd also love one of each! I guess as long as it's a happy healthy baby, I'm beyond lucky xx

Loz365 · 25/03/2024 20:23

Not good news from me. I had a private scan booked for 6th April and they kindly brought it forward and saw me this evening. Confirmed miscarriage, only measuring 6+4 and no heartbeat, so it stopped growing the day after my NHS scan last week. Will see what EPU says on Wednesday about the next steps.

Life is so cruel. I feel so broken. I really thought this would work out after 3 years TTC. The worst part is I know I won't get any investigations because I've 'only' had 2 MCs.
I'm going to step away from the thread and FB group, wishing you all happy and healthy pregnancies. I really hope one day I get to join you as a mummy...

Meatballsandpasta · 25/03/2024 20:32

I might be one and done. I've no idea how I'd manage these symptoms and looking after a kid at the same time. Let alone working. Unless they pass very soon and I can have a sense of "it's only for X weeks". But right now I don't know how long I'll last so I'm struggling with it. Everyone is different. And I'm having such mild symptoms compared to some people! No actual throwing up but constant nausea, tired, my breasts are excruciating I could cut them off. This is cobblers. I'm 6+3 today so for all I know I have another month of this at least. Just really struggling and needed a vent.

Meatballsandpasta · 25/03/2024 20:35

@Loz365 so sorry to see your latest. If you see this, I wish you all the best for your next steps and I'll be thinking of you.
