@piechipsgravy my sickness is so much better over the last 4/5 days AND I have much more cramping and back pain so I feel you.

Although with the above and bit of spotting I had Sunday I’ve been trying to get hold of EPAU but can’t get through, worried it’s all going the wrong way one minute and baby’s stopped growing then telling myself I’m overreacting the next.

I’m still waiting up most nights at 3, having mad dreams and napping every day though x

Riverstardust · 02/04/2024 12:41

6 weeks today and the nausea has increased, haven't been sick yet but I have an iron stomach for that so hopefully I won't be.
Literally cannot stop thinking about a Tesco cheese triple sandwich so DH is taking me to get one on our lunch (both wfh)

When does this fatigue end? Do we get a burst of energy in the second trimester, at least?? 😩

Second trimester is usually the easiest bit - for most the tiredness and nausea reduces and you're not so huge yet that everything is a massive effort! I certainly found that middle bit by far the easiest for my first pregnancy!

Meatballsandpasta · 02/04/2024 13:17

Great early scan this morning - baby looking good and measuring a day ahead, so the due date is staying as the 15th. Good luck everyone else going in this week!

Meatballsandpasta · 02/04/2024 13:21

Maybe we could do an area poll on the FB group and organise some local meetups later in the year 🤔

Thanks. That's something to hope for.
@UnravellingTheWorld oh god 😂

I know we shouldn't compare, but my best friend is in the third tri and I feel like she coped much better. She has symptoms but makes it look easy. My mum said she felt horrendous with me (2nd) all throughout the pregnancy! She felt great all throughout with my brother (1st), and my sister (3rd) was in the middle. With her she had a difficult first tri, easy second, difficult last few weeks.

@Meatballsandpasta that's great news 😍

I don't remember when the fatigue ends. I'm 9+3 and not there yet. I remember having loads of energy in the second trimester with my first. I can't remember with my second...it wasn't this bad though. We travelled and I don't remember feeling particularly tired. So it must end at some point!

LegoBear84 · 02/04/2024 14:45

Fatigue is wiping me out over here too.
I'm so grateful it's still the Easter holidays, I'm not sure how I'm going to survive once we're back at school next week (I'm a HLTA who covers teachers on their non contact time) 😴

Thank you! Fingers crossed x

Concerned for when I go back to college in a couple of weeks! I could just sleep all day and night. Wondering if anyone has found any tips that helps them with fatigue? I should look into any particular nutrients.

@LegoBear84 may I ask how far along you are?

Morning all!

I don't mean to jinx it but my nausea has felt much better since Sunday 🤞🏻 however I've had an increase in cramping. It's very mild period like cramps (I'm not needing to take any pain killers- I'm just aware of them). Hoping it's just my uterus stretching some more. I've also managed to sleep well for the last 3 nights, after waking up between 3-5am (and not getting back to sleep) for a week previously. Praying that these positive steps are hormones settling down and not a negative sign!

I’ve been really similar and I’m so worried about it even though deep down I know it’s normal for symptoms to fluctuate xxx

purplecolouroffunk · 02/04/2024 14:54

Hope everyone is doing okay today!

I'm panicking myself because I don't seem to have too many symptoms. I'm 5+3.

My boobs are sore, sometimes worse, sometimes not so bad, and they've grown. I don't really have nausea and no food aversions. I don't even really feel that tired tbh until right at the end of the day like I usually would!

Anyone else?!

LegoBear84 · 02/04/2024 14:56

@Bratzy I'm somewhere between 6 and 7 weeks. But have been super tired for last 2 weeks.
I don't remember being this tired with my first but that was 6 years ago!!

I feel exactly like this too! Feeling like things are bad one minute, then feeling like I'm being silly the next.

I've also had some spotting. I called the EPU yesterday and they were so nice. Tried to reassure me, and said to call back on Friday if I still had a positive test and spotting, and that we'd come up with a plan. She said it's most likely a hematoma from implantation. Just want this week to hurry up so I can have an early scan!

I only really had sore boobs at 5+3. 6 weeks was when other symptoms kicked in for me. Try not to worry. 😊

When I got to about 5+6 that's when my symptoms started and I could no longer stomach certain foods, I'm 7+1 now. I haven't been sick yet but I feel nauseous mostly in the evenings. But it's not too bad yet, I can kind of eat/ sleep my way through it!

We are around the same then. First pregnancy for me so have nothing to compare it to. For some reason, i've convinced myself I'll be glowing in second tri 😂...here's to positive thinking.✨
