@omghavingababy it’s no problem at all, I just hope yours is different to mine.

My story is much as a miracle, I was told in 2021 from a my IVF consultant I had less than 1% chance of conceiving naturally due to low ovarian reserve, I had a miscarriage in 2019. I had a successful round of IVF in 2022 and my DD was born in the November. I by miracle conceived naturally in June 2023 - ended Aug 2023. I am currently 8w4d after conceiving naturally again.

Ive had 2 bad experiences of miscarrying, I have had the worst case scenario both times so after the one in August, we have hardly dtd due to trauma. IVF must have triggered something in my body. I’m 37 for reference too. ❤️xx

@piechipsgravy that's disappointing you can't go, but also you will see such a difference by then xxx

Just had my scan at the EPU. I'm 6+2 according to my LMP but she said I'm measuring more like 5+2. The woman was so so nice and said I'm "definitely pregnant" as my partner asked haha. She can see the sac and possibly the start of the yolk forming but nothing else seen at this stage. She was really positive about it and said she's not concerned at all. Got a follow up appt on the 8th to hopefully see some progression.

@omghavingababy I'm so sorry you've not had better news, sending love 💕

@Starrysky812 thank you for thinking of me 💕

That's great. Hopefully reassuring to see something is going on in there! I'm sure things will have moved on nicely when you go back on 8th. Everything crossed for you 🤞❤️

Bratzy · 29/03/2024 17:33

Congrats on the positive scans 😊

I threw up this morning after travelling. I expected it with pregnancy nausea on top of travel sickness. As soon as we got here, I had an hour nap 🤣

Hi everyone I'm not looking for sympathy as such but just had my early scan and NOT good news. Meant to be 7+1 , measuring 5+4 no there was a "flicker of heartbeat" which I actually seen myself but the nurse (she was lovely) said "in her gut the heartbeat shouldn't be like that and it's not good news"
Obviously have to go back next week to be checked. This thread is so long now who has experience in this and after the week wait for 2nd scan it was good/bad news?

So sorry. I really hope everything works out perfectly 💜

omghavingababy · 29/03/2024 17:38

@shohopeful oh this is amazing I have screenshotted, and saved thank you so much

@Berts87 wow a miracle indeed, what a journey you had been through. Sounds tough mind but congratulations on your natural pregnancy , thank you again for your kind words xx

Anyone else have spots on their face? I usually have (mostly) smooth spotless skin, but I'm breaking out!

meepthebeep · 29/03/2024 20:18

@Bratzy me too! I had Roaccutane back in 2017 which cleared up my skin so well, but the last week or so, the spots have been back with a vengeance 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m 7 weeks today

CurlyWurly1991 · 29/03/2024 20:20

@Bratzy yes very spotty here too!!

CadoAvo · 29/03/2024 20:21

@Bratzy my skins been okay so far but will no doubt do some crazy things

@meepthebeep I had roaccutane in 2012 (I think) and it cleared mine up too so hoping it never comes back. My sister got awful skin during/after her first pregnancy. She then had roaccutane and no issues with her second pregnancy.

Bratzy · 29/03/2024 20:23

Ahh the glamour of pregnancy, ladies. 😅

PennySong · 30/03/2024 05:49

I gave myself a mini facial yesterday, hoping I don't break out. I had terrible acne in my twenties and took roaccutane to get rid of it.

mrssunshinexxx · 30/03/2024 06:09

@PennySong I was literally about to start roacutane for acne on my back when I found out I was pregnant, it was waiting at the pharmacy for me but I knew we had had a whoopsie night and needed to wait for me period to be sure... what are the chances !!
My skin on my back is horrific and so sore gutted I didn't get round to doing the course gunna be a long time before I can do it again

Jenroxy5 · 30/03/2024 07:18

Hi ladies jumping on because I’m going out of my mind with anxiety. I had a positive 2 weeks ago. Went for a reassurance scan at whst I thought was 6 weeks and nothing could be seen so pregnancy of unknown location. I was referred to Epu and been having bloods every 48 hours with rising levels however at the scan on Thursday at 1300 but nothing seen on the scan again other than thick lining with possible small breakage but unsure if it’s bleeding from implantation or a sac forming or failed pregnancy. I’ve been transferred to another hospital today for a scan because they will expect to see pregnancy from levels of 1500 HCG anyone had any experience with anything like this I’ve been so upset in bed for days I’ve had no bleeding just some cramping almost like bruised feeling in my uterus. I hope I can update a positive outcome after the scan x

Starrysky812 · 30/03/2024 07:35

@Jenroxy5 I'm so sorry to hear you're going through that. What a terrible worry. I'm afraid I can't be of help with a similar story but wanted to respond to send support and positive thoughts your way. Really hope you get a good outcome and will be waiting for your update with everything crossed.
Best wishes ❤️

CurlyWurly1991 · 30/03/2024 08:07

@Jenroxy5 I’m very sorry to hear about the stress you are under. I hope the next scan / tests get to the bottom of it.

Jenroxy5 · 30/03/2024 09:08

Thank you ladies just spoke to private clinic they’ll scan me before hospital this afternoon as I’ve been having pains in my abdomen standing too long seems uncomfortable so worried this is ectopic xx

shohopeful · 30/03/2024 09:40

So sorry @Jenroxy5. Hope you get answers really soon. Sending you love xxx

CurlyWurly1991 · 30/03/2024 10:16

Wishing you the best @Jenroxy5 xxx

PennySong · 30/03/2024 11:10

@mrssunshinexxx I had it on my back - so sore. It's annoying to have to wait. I suppose it'll have to be safe remedies for now. You'll get there at some point.

@Jenroxy5 I hope it'll be ok - hugs xx

PennySong · 30/03/2024 11:21

Meatballsandpasta · 29/03/2024 14:34

@PennySong not everybody does, and it definitely doesn't mean anything except that you're so far winning the symptoms lottery 😁

I might have spoken too soon. I felt a bit seedy yesterday - mum said it was all in my head lol.
But today it was definitely there and worse. If it goes on like this it will be nausea before a week's gone by.
Oddly though it is in the morning and goes away. And I really wasn't imagining it today.

Jenroxy5 · 30/03/2024 12:39

So had my scans they have found a gestational sac which is amazing news however no yolk sac or anything yet so I may have my dates so mixed up or they said could be possible impending miscarriage to be guarded still! My lmp was 12 feb latest I convinced is probably 29th feb-1st March so maybe it could be possible but is that possible with my period being when it was?
im glad they’ve been able to find the sac but also still anxious x

piechipsgravy · 30/03/2024 12:55

Hi ladies, sorry for the TMI question but has anyone had mucus like discharge? I had it when I was around 4-5 weeks and had a swab at both EPU and GP in case of thrush/BV and both came back clear. I've just been for a long walk and it's returned again. It's very thick and a yellow-ish colour. Not sure if it needs to be checked out or not?

It looks ok to me. If it were me I wouldn’t think twice about it. Maybe just keep an eye if you are worried but especially if there’s no other symptoms, should be good
