I'm due 25th June 2024. So am 5+2 today. Very sore boobs and very tired. Also very thirsty. Anyone due around the same time and would like a support thread? This is my 2nd. Dd is 8, will be nearly 9 when baby comes. Let's share stories, symptoms and have a good moan when we need it!

I self referred online. Got a booking appt in the post. Which is when I will be 10+2 by LMP. Seems an age away yet! No can date. That came out after my booking appt in my first pregnancy. Xx

5kidsandadog · 01/11/2023 12:47

Yes I have yesterday. Booked in Nov 10th.

starr24 · 01/11/2023 16:33

I hope your scan went okay this afternoon @Georgiadent123 🤞

I've got my booking appointment on 14th but no scan date yet. Feeling tired, sore boobs come and go, occasional wave of nausea and some light cramping, that's all!

Georgiadent123 · 01/11/2023 16:36

@starr24 Scan went beautifully thank god! Saw a little sac happily in the uterus - over the moon and on my way to have a big dinner and Netflix! I’m also feeling exactly the same as you, might cramping and nausea and saw boobs. Anyone else very hungry???

starr24 · 01/11/2023 16:37

Awwhh @Georgiadent123 that's amazing news! Phew! And yes I feel hungry all the time right now!!

Mills1991 · 01/11/2023 17:19

I haven’t either and I was supposed to get a letter within 7 days and it’s been about 3 weeks!

TeamSpike · 01/11/2023 18:18

Aww I'm so glad @Georgiadent123 now you can relax a bit. And yes I feel like I've been eating a lot and not getting full lol

@Georgiadent123 that's great news.

I keep feeling starving sick type feeling and am only managing very plain carbs and eating little and often

Georgiadent123 · 01/11/2023 18:32

@littlebopeep1991 That’s exactly the same as me! I’m getting married in a month so praying the dress will still fit!

I haven't heard either. My friend who is the next area over is 9 weeks and still no contact

5kidsandadog · 01/11/2023 19:39

I feel so sick from the minute I get up until I go to sleep. I can barely eat. It's so tough 😔

Bubblesandtroubles · 01/11/2023 21:26

@Georgiadent123 that's fabulous news 💞
I'm mostly fine during the day symptomwise but do get nauseous and tired by middle of the evening. Can live with that though- id rather it be that way round and still be able to function at work 🤞🏻🤞🏻 xx

Hello @TeamSpike , I’ve just found your thread. I’m 6 weeks today so EDD 27 June. I’m an ivf pregnancy, this is my first transfer after 4 rounds of freezing embryos to get enough in the bank, TTC for +2years. I spotted you need to tell your sister who is starting her ivf journey. My brother and his partner have just had their first and knew telling me would be hard. My brother sent me a WhatsApp message to tell me so I didn’t have to react there and then. This was sooo much easier. I’ve had friends and colleagues tell me to my face and while I’m happy for them I’m dying inside but on the outside I’ve had to force a smile. So for what it’s worth, if you haven’t told her yet this might be an easier way, my brother giving me the space and permission to be honest that it was difficult for me meant everything.

TeamSpike · 02/11/2023 21:38

Hi @Zypig and big congratulations! Thank you yes I did tell her over WhatsApp and she thanked me for giving her space to process the news. Haven't seen her in person yet. Hope everything goes well for your pregnancy

Congratulations @Featherboyle28 I'm due June 28th. I have never felt so ill. I've lost 10lbs already through severe nausea. I cannot stomach nearly any foods. I've tried my 3rd anti sickness tablet and none of them stop me feeling sick. Have you tried any anti sickness tablets? I feel your pain x

5kidsandadog · 04/11/2023 14:37

No I haven't. I actually feel like nothing will help. I'll try anything though.
Thank you, hope you feel better soon and the nausea subsides.

I had an early scan yesterday and I was dated @ 9+5, expected due date 2nd/3rd June, little heartbeat!

The nausea is finally weaning off slightly!

@Zypig my son was a first embryo pregnancy! Huge congratulations, what a star you are doing 4 rounds in a row!!

Lusha · 05/11/2023 10:14

Hello, I am 6 weeks and starting to get nausea. Although planned, I am feeling quite anxious about how this going to change my life and career. Any tips are most welcome.

5kidsandadog · 05/11/2023 11:27

Hi @Lusha, congratulations! Nothing you do can really ever prepare you for motherhood. It does change your life forever but in a very positive and lovely way. You will find your way as you go. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. Listen to your body. The journey is really quite unique for every person, so try and enjoy it if you can :)

Rooster2021 · 05/11/2023 11:40

Hello! I’ve just found this thread, I’m 5 weeks, due beginning of July. Congrats on all your pregnancies!

This is my 2nd pregnancy, I haven’t felt anything up until yesterday. I started to get what felt like tummmy-bug pains, and that was followed by a whole night of severe diarrhoea! I thought thing were improving this morning but I’ve just had to run to be sick.

I only had a feeling of nausea last time, never sick and never this level - this feels like I’m Ill, which I’m wondering if I am? But it seems quite common on Mumsnet. I’ve been in bed the whole time like I’m sick!

Does anyone else relate?
