I'm due 25th June 2024. So am 5+2 today. Very sore boobs and very tired. Also very thirsty. Anyone due around the same time and would like a support thread? This is my 2nd. Dd is 8, will be nearly 9 when baby comes. Let's share stories, symptoms and have a good moan when we need it!

15 weeks today and still feeling awful. Am going to try the GP for cyclizine - has anyone taken before? I've definitely got a bump too!

Hope it helps. I tried that and something beginning with P can't remember it now but neither helped. Had 48 hours without sickness now and nausea is improving. I'm 15 weeks 5 so hoping it's all going to settle soon

Sandytoes66 · 03/01/2024 18:38

@littlebopeep1991 thank you. I just feel really helpless with it all now! I think I'm feeling better and then will vomit/feel awful again! It's so draining. Hoping your nausea has passed now. Apparently 16 weeks is a good stage to get to (although with my first it was done by 10 weeks, and I had high hopes for 12 and 14 🤣) Fingers crossed we are nearly there!!

Couggstar123 · 03/01/2024 18:41

Haha I was also counting down the days until 12 weeks, 14 weeks…16 weeks! I’m 16+5 now and think I maybe finally feel like myself again although I’m scared to believe it! 🤣 I think Christmas was significantly more exhausting than I anticipated and I’m really hoping the wonderful second trimester energy I’ve been waiting for might be on its way! I started to think it was a myth!

DuchessofSuffolk · 03/01/2024 19:01

I thought I had got away with sickness but saw my breakfast again this morning. Boo.

Redheadx · 03/01/2024 20:42

I’m 17 weeks today! My bump is getting noticeable. Sickness has finally stopped get the odd day but nothing like I had before. I’m starting to feel more myself again apart from the breathless already! Pregnancy is a funny thing I learn new things everyday. I went back to work today after 2 weeks off and feel so better for it. This will be working now until the baby comes! Wish me luck

TeamSpike · 04/01/2024 20:18

We're having a baby girl! 🩷 I can't believe it. I was convinced it was a boy. This pregnancy is the opposite of my first dd. So shocked and over the moon

omg congrats! You’ll already have all the stuff too so that’s handy! My hubby doesn’t want to find out the sec and I’m trying g to make him realise he is wrong 😂

TeamSpike · 04/01/2024 21:32

Unfortunately not! Dd will ne nearly 9 when baby comes and I haven't kept anything from when she was a baby! Starting from scratch again

Hi I am 16+3 and my bump has shrunk! It was quite solid and prominent now it's only a bit bigger than my spare tyre previously! I know realistically the baby can't have gone anywhere but it's still a bit unnerving.. have a scan on Thursday so hopefully all will be ok. I am massively anxious as FTM and 40!

That's so weird I am the sane date and had that exact thought this morning!! I think my nausea and bloating has settled and so that's making it seem smaller. Gander scan Thursday!

JRTfan · 09/01/2024 12:45

@littlebopeep1991 haha strange! We also have gender scan Thursday. I've had no symptoms so far at all.. in fact right now I would have no idea I was pregnant if I didn't know! I'd just think Christmas was a bit excessive as my gut is a little thicker!

Suchardchoccy · 09/01/2024 12:46

@littlebopeep1991 @JRTfan I'm 16+3 today too! I would say my bloating has calmed down. This is like the limbo period of not feeling pregnant, which in a few weeks we will miss!! I'm sure everything is fine and your scans go well 😊

Couggstar123 · 09/01/2024 15:31

I think I felt massive at 13 weeks and then didn’t really see much bump growth until about 16/17. Defo all to do with bloat and how full your stomach is! We had our gender scan and it was amazing! Such a difference from 12 weeks, seeing him moving his arms and kicking me like mad! So weird when you can see how much they are moving but still can’t feel them! Will definitely be nice and reassuring to feel more movement! Good luck for your scans, it’s so exciting!

Nat2903 · 09/01/2024 17:17

Nearly 19 weeks with baby girl due 7th June, had some worrying news on scan limited views of csp

glasshalffull0 · 09/01/2024 17:36

Has anyone felt baby move yet? I thought I felt some flutters a couple of days ago (15 weeks) but I haven't felt anything since so I guess it was just wind!

TeamSpike · 09/01/2024 17:52

I'm 17 weeks tomorrow. I think I've felt some flutters over the last week but not every day. My bump size does seem to change. If I'm very full, it feels huge and solid. Had our gender scan last week. So lovely watching her move around. Took ages for sonographer to see what she was. So excited to be having a girl

Zoe303 · 09/01/2024 20:43

I’m almost 18 weeks and feeling some movement every day now, I first felt it at about 14 weeks but it wasn’t very prominent then (and could have just been wind!) It’s my second baby and it’s been quicker this time around! My bump is so much bigger this time round already too 😆 I’m so excited to find out what we’re having in two weeks, secretly hoping for a girl but I’m expecting another boy!

Redheadx · 09/01/2024 20:55

18 weeks today and sickness has slowed down but not stopping and becoming more intense with the headaches. When did everyone’s sickness fully stop?

VJ88 · 10/01/2024 13:00

I'm 15+5 today and still playing games of "movement or gas". It feels like I have passed the little bubbles like stage of my first and gone straight to feeling kicks, so I am just not sure. We had a scare yesterday and ended up in a&e but thankfully everything was okay, and the sonographer was fairly confident that we are having a boy (but she was careful to say that it's possible to get it wrong this early, but I feel like it's more likely to be right if she is guessing boy and there's something quite obvious they're looking for...!)

Mandy10624 · 12/01/2024 22:55

Congratulations @TeamSpike ! So happy for you! I’m 19 +6 today and went for my 20 week scan today - we are having a boy!! 🥹🥹🥹 we’re so happy!! hubby has been grinning from ear to ear all day!!! I know what you mean! It was emotional and so happy to see him moving around! The scan was so funny because his legs were wide open in the first 5 minutes so it was quite an obvious gender reveal 😂😂😂😂

Mandy10624 · 12/01/2024 22:57

Oh no! I hope you feel better soon! I sometimes wake up a bit queasy but it eased around week 18! If headaches intensify please see your midwife or GP asap! It’s really important xx

Couggstar123 · 13/01/2024 02:06

@Redheadx i’m 18 weeks as well and i feel like my sickness has finally gone this week. Was still sick when brushing my teeth last week but so far this week been better. I’m sadly having 2nd trimester headaches as well…feels you get rid of one symptom and a new one appears. Are you managing them with paracetamol? I am still pretty exhausted, still taking two long naps on my days off! People keep telling me about the second trimester energy but I’ve given up on it ever appearing🤣 luckily I have 3 lazy dogs who are very happy to snuggle up with me! Hopefully your sickness eases up and speak to your MW if headaches don’t pass with paracetamol!

DuchessofSuffolk · 13/01/2024 06:41

I’m 15 + 4 defo got a little belly but if you didn’t know would orobsthink I have just had a big lunch. I don’t think I’ve felt baby move yet. And still trying to convince my stubborn ass husband to find out sex.

Popped into Aldi the other day as they were having a baby and toddler event. It was okay! Didn’t get a lot of stuff. It was mainly toddler stuff tbh but I saw somewhere there are delays on some products so will keep checking in. Only a short walk from where I work anyway. I did buy some muslin cloths and a book tho. Made me feel like I was getting more prepared 😂😂

Mandy10624 · 13/01/2024 08:37

Thanks @DuchessofSuffolk my mum got a baby ball pool for our little man from Aldi as a very early first birthday gift which is currently in the shed 😂😂 Aldi do really lovely things! Hopefully their newborn range is out before June!
