Hi! Just had a BFP after a MC at 8 weeks last year, and am looking for folks to breathe through the next few weeks with. I am in an age bracket where MC risk is high and I’m trying not to get ahead of myself!

I can't stop POAS 🙈 my husband said, when are you going to keep doing this until?! 😂 I said probs until I've had my first scan. We have a private scan booked for the 18th October. I have to phone EPU on Thursday when I'm 6 weeks and hopefully they will have me in early as well. If I need to move my private scan I will do that and take the NHS one first xx

I haven't been here for a week so just catching up. With my 14 month old we all met here on mumsnet we now have FB group and chat on WhatsApp every day.

I've just been to the loo and there's blood. It's dark. Not much, but my heart is breaking. I'm away for my friend's 40th this weekend. She knows about the pregnancy, but I'm going to have to keep this to myself as I can't spoil her weekend.

I have terrible constipation already 😩. I'm only 5w+3. I had my flu jab last weekend, on Monday had diarrhea which I assumed was a flu jab side effect. I now have pooed since Monday 🙁.

@Spottybutterfly thank you. Just managed to speak to my husband, he's reminded me that we always said "what will be will be, and what happens, happens for a reason". But if I'm losing this little bean I will be so so disappointed.
We said that we wouldn't keep trying for no 4 so it feels like this is last chance. I still feel fairly nauseous- is that a good sign maybe?

I've got mild cramps but have had some lower uterine crampy sensations on and off for the past fortnight. Don't know what to think

Hey, I am in similar boat! I have a 9 year old and this will be my second, so feels as though I am a fist time mum all over again but this time riddle with anxiety and fear!!!

Congrats! I am a little over 4 weeks and also had a miscarriage 10 years ago before my daughter was born! It's scary times, but all we can do is trust nature and our bodies. xxx

@RaisingCornishWildlings , from what I’ve read dark blood means old blood, and fresh red blood is what you should be concerned about. Could just be some old blood from implantation or some small old bleed. If you only have it as a one off than don’t jump to the worst conclusions yet, maybe put a panty liner to see if you get any more of it or it’s just a one off🤞🤞🤞🤞

@RaisingCornishWildlings I'm 4w+4 and have woken up on holiday to some bleeding too. I'm terrified. We did DTD last night so I'm not sure if it's related to that, but scared it's something more sinister. I'm trying to remember back and I think I had some slight bleeding when pregnant with my son and all was fine, but I'm in Greece until Thursday and haven't got any tests on me to reassure myself

@EMJL it's the worst isn't it? We are in a cottage out in the sticks and I don't have any panty liners on me. I really don't want to alter the mood of the weekend so I don't want to ask the other girls if they have anything. I've put a wad of kitchen towel in my knickers for now 🙈

It occurred to me that last night in bed I did have a little bit of a moment with myself- just clitoral stimulation but maybe that orgasm was enough to elicit some bleeding.

I messaged my best friend just now and she said her bleeding started at about 5weeks. All I can do is ride out today, and I'll be travelling home tomorrow on the train and will try and speak to midwife office and see about an early scan.
I guess I'll know between now and tomorrow if it's spotting or if it becomes a full on bleed.

I just feel so very sad xxx

I feel trapped until Thursday, we're in Crete and I'm not even near a pharmacy. I've put a panty liner on and I would say it's light bleeding, mainly when I wipe, no cramping or anything so far.

I've been a bit quiet as I approach my last miscarriage dates. Trying to be chill and struggling. I'll feel a bit better if I get past that milestone I think.

@EMJL @RaisingCornishWildlings hopefully its just a bit of spotting and nothing sinister but totally get the stress, especially on holiday. I started bleeding on holiday at almost 6 weeks and it made it a lot more stressful than being at home! Good that you haven't got cramping though!

At the moment I am feeling a bit better as it does seem to be more spotting than bleeding- and it seems to have stopped this evening. Calling midwife tomorrow.... keeping fingers crossed!

Hi! Hope I can join this group? I found out last week I am pregnant again, I had a mmc carriage in July. Since finding out the time is going so slow, and I am so scared the same thing will happen again.
I paid for early scans lash time, so when I went at what should have been 9 weeks the baby had stopped growing shortly after 7 weeks. Thankfully epu have told me they will see me at 6 weeks for bloods and an early scan this time round thankfully. And they have also prescribed me aspirin and a high dose of vitamin d. Tbh though, with the vitamin d I have left it for now because I’m all ready taking it in my pre natal and an extra little bit on the side too

First time poster and first pregnancy. Had a positive test yesterday, followed by another two today and am very nervous!
Not feeling anywhere near ready to tell the family yet, so any advice or anyone available to chat etc would be great!

Hi! Ans congratulations too! How far along are you do you know? I’m waiting till 12 weeks till I announce it to any family this time round, especially my in laws.
mil wasn’t too happy at first last time, don’t know why we we have been together years now and also married almost a year! Then she come round, started to buy things which I wasn’t too happy about then unfortunately I had the mmc.
