Hi! Just had a BFP after a MC at 8 weeks last year, and am looking for folks to breathe through the next few weeks with. I am in an age bracket where MC risk is high and I’m trying not to get ahead of myself!

So sorry @EMJL hope you’re doing ok.

@EMJL Oh gosh I’m so sorry honey. Take care of yourself. ❤️

EWH · 09/10/2023 09:26

@RaisingCornishWildlings hope you are hanging in there. Having to put a brave face on at a 40th would be very tough. Hope you get somewhere with the midwife. Sending love x

According to Clue, I’m due at the start of June. I’m 38 and it’s my first pregnancy. I’m bewildered! I was about to be referred for IVF so getting an early scan in a couple of weeks just to check the hyfosy didn’t disrupt anything.

Rewindthefilm · 09/10/2023 09:46

@EMJL sending love and strength x

I'm on the train home now and can't wait for a hug with my husband and to see my kids!

This morning I've had very little- and what there has been seems to be more like pinky/brown tinted cervical mucus really, as opposed to something that looks like period blood.

I couldn't get hold of local midwife - I think their phone is on the blink!- so I called GP surgery and they gave me the on call Midwife number, so rang them this morning and the MW put me at ease a bit- she said that although there's no guarantees, she does think from what I've explained, it sounds very normal- and I should try to relax and see what happens. I still have that period ache in my uterus but also I still feel a bit queasy and nauseous so I'm hoping this little bean is holding on tight!

Dani46 · 09/10/2023 11:18

So sorry @EMJL x

Dani46 · 09/10/2023 11:19

@RaisingCornishWildlings can you contact epau? They should be able to give you an early scan to help you too.

Dani46 · 09/10/2023 11:21

They are seeing me at 6 weeks due to my last miscarriage, but if you are able to they will definitely give you an early scan because of the situation. Hope you’re well too

RaisingCornishWildlings · 09/10/2023 11:23

I'm going to try again this afternoon to get hold of the local midwife team and ask them about an early scan. I don't know if they will though- I've not had issues early before?
It's the waiting and not knowing that is just so hard.

Good luck at your early scan! X

Boredinthehouse12 · 09/10/2023 11:43

I’m just wondering when everyone’s symptoms started? I’m 4+5 and have no symptoms at all. I’ve had 2 miscarriages and hardly had any symptoms with those either, so starting to worry. I know it’s super early but during my 1 successful pregnancy I had really bad nausea/sickness and sore boobs but can’t remember exactly when that started.

I had a bit of mild cramping and dull backache last night so not sure what to think. The back ache has carried on into today, just a dull ache, not painful. I’m not sure if this is concerning or could be linked to my epidural (17 months ago) and new pregnancy hormones.

Jak803 · 09/10/2023 13:04

@Boredinthehouse12 symptoms don’t tend to ramp up until about six weeks, sounds like it might be a bit too early for any major symptoms!

@Boredinthehouse12 I hope you have a sticky little bean in there! Wishing you loads of luck, and I’m sorry for your losses.

Hi all! Can I join? I'm 5 weeks pregnant and starting to feel a bit anxious about this "limbo" phase, still waiting for my first (private) scan to confirm everything's fine :)
So far, I've been exhausted and having some cravings for energetic foods (pistachios, anyone!?). Some days a little bit nauseated, but not much.
Congratulations and fingers crossed, for all of us!

FoleyHuck · 09/10/2023 14:57

@Boredinthehouse12 I'm 6+1 and all I've really had so far is very sore boobs and being a bit thirstier / peeing more.

My stomach muscles seem to have just given up and left though and if I relax I look about 5 months gone. A bit of a concern given we don't want to tell anyone until at least 12 weeks. I'm sort of hoping it's just some sort of early bloat and will settle down.

Sorry for your losses and sending luck for this one to be sticky x

Dani46 · 09/10/2023 18:06

I would ring your local epu and explain to them, they should see you. Hope you got sorted

cosymama2020 · 09/10/2023 18:21

I’m sooo nauseous it’s unreal. Probably eating half my usual amount of food a day and have constant watery mouth.

On top of that I’m exhausted too, could go to bed now if I could and I had a lunchtime nap as well! I’m only 6+2 and my symptoms were pretty strong early on last time but I can’t remember if they were this early!

I feel you! Mine has really ramped up these past few days! It was so bad this morning, it's settled a bit tonight but it's awful isn't it? I had HG with my first so hoping it's not going that way! My boobs are no longer sore though today so I think sickness has taken its place!

BrwnX · 09/10/2023 19:10

I have been feeling super anxious today 🥺 I have been having cramps on and off but had those since I found out last Monday. I keep getting them on the left side but they do come and go. I am just thinking all sorts 😥
My boobs and nipples are also very sensitive! Haha nausea is there too.

Think I'm also feeling so anxious because I'm approaching how far on I was last time before my MC.

Wish I could switch my brain off until next Wednesday for our scan! Haha 😅

Hi! I have been having cramps (mainly left side) and also today I had the slightest back ache which seems to have only lasted less than an hour.
I had a miscarriage in July and the symptoms this time are completely different! I don’t have sore boobs at all, just maybe my nipples slightly but that’s it. Also been having dizzy spells which happens more of an evening. The bloat is unreal though! How far gone are you now? I’m only 4w3d. Can’t wait to have a scan just so I can put my mind at ease a little.
