Hi! Just had a BFP after a MC at 8 weeks last year, and am looking for folks to breathe through the next few weeks with. I am in an age bracket where MC risk is high and I’m trying not to get ahead of myself!

Congratulations @Maybebaby54321

Deffo pinker today @Nightbeforeslothmas

@Jak803 really don't fret yet it's so early! With my first 3 I had nothing til about 6weeks. It's really thrown me feeling symptoms this early this time round- keep telling myself it must be pyschological as I know I'm pregnant so telling myself I feel a bit 🤢

RaisingCornishWildlings · 03/10/2023 09:59

Also, the worst thing in the world is changing disgusting diarrhoea nappies when you have a super keen sense of smell and feel queasy. Oh my days this bug needs to be over!!

Jak803 · 03/10/2023 10:08

Thanks everyone for the reassurance! And @Nightbeforeslothmas its definitely pinker!

I’ve run out of tests now, and will sit on my hands for the next few weeks. Most likely I will cave and get a digital one soon, to check that my levels are synonymous with a 3+ weeks result. Great that you got one @cosymama2020 !

Hi everyone, hope you don't mind me joining! 💓

First of all, congratulations to you all!

I got my BFP last night at 11dpo on our first month TTC baby No.2! We tried the SMEP method and it seems it worked!

I turn 29 this month and I've got a nearly 2.5 year old son. We were very shocked and lucky to have fallen pregnant so quickly again.

Due date calculator says I'm due around 14th June - it will be lovely to chat to some of you and keep each other sane! 😅 x

Jak803 · 03/10/2023 13:29

Welcome @EMJL! Great that it was straightforward for you. Congratulations!

Hi,

hoping to join this thread - found out I'm pregnant with my rainbow baby after a MMC in June (found out at my 12 week scan) had no cramping or bleeding so it was a complete shock.

very anxious this time and prayer for a baby. I have only told my husband so far but hoping to tell my parents next week.

RaisingCornishWildlings · 03/10/2023 16:02

Welcome @Sophleanne1, so sorry for your loss- that sounds truly devastating. Fingers crossed for you that this one sticks! Do you know how many weeks you are?

BrwnX · 03/10/2023 18:52

Hi everyone, hoping to join this thread. Found out yesterday I was pregnant. I will be 5 weeks on Friday.
Had a MC in July so I am feeling very anxious, obviously happy too. 🌈🌈
I have been quite crampy, constantly checking myself at the toilet 😢
I am trying to be really positive though and telling myself this time is different!

Hope everyone is doing ok! X

Nightbeforeslothmas · 03/10/2023 19:10

@BrwnX good luck, rooting for you!

Boredinthehouse12 · 03/10/2023 20:15

Has everyone started/been taking their vitamins (folic acid and vitamin D)? I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I feel like the Pregnacare I’m taking is making me feel extra nauseous

RaisingCornishWildlings · 03/10/2023 20:21

@Boredinthehouse12 I'm just finishing up my trying to conceive tablets- only a few left then I've got the max/complete pregnacare pack to start. Feel like with my advancing age (and not great diet these days!) I need to do my best to give this little bean the best start!

Jak803 · 03/10/2023 20:39

@Sophleanne1 @BrwnX Welcome, congratulations and I’m so sorry for your losses. There’s quite a few of us here that suffered recent MCs, and the news of a pregnancy, while wonderful, has generated a lot of anxiety for us all too. This is a good space to share those feelings, and this group are so lovely and reassuring. Hoping for a positive outcome for you both!

@Boredinthehouse12 I'm taking a combi folic acid and vitamin D. Touch wood I've not felt sick at all yet, if it wasn't for my huge painful boobs I wouldn't believe I was pregnant.

RaisingCornishWildlings · 03/10/2023 20:42

I honestly can't begin to imagine the heartbreak of a MC. I know how very lucky me and my husband have been, to have had 3 healthy pregnancies to date! However it really doesn't stop the anxiety, every time I go to the loo, I'm sterling myself to find blood when I wipe- and have been like it with the other 3 babies too.
I deffo feel much more relaxed once I have my babe in my arms, fret way too much when I can't see what they're up to!

Sending everyone big hugs and happy healthy baby-growing vibes ❤️❤️❤️

Xxx

Tefiti3 · 03/10/2023 20:48

Lovely to see all of the new joiners. Hoping you all happy and healthy pregnancies. ❤️

Have been diagnosed with a strange rash called Pityriasis rosea, thought to be a post viral rash, but quite a few studies online link it to increased risk of all sorts of terrible things if contracted in early pregnancy. Trying to remain calm but it’s definitely difficult.

IDontDrinkTea · 04/10/2023 05:10

Tentatively dipping my toes in here with a surprise third pregnancy. Well I say surprise, about four people have told me I look pale, my 4yo told me I look pregnant and my husband has said he thought I was pregnant a week ago. So apparently the only one who wasn’t aware of these things has been me 😂

BrwnX · 04/10/2023 06:16

Thank you! @Nightbeforeslothmas and @Jak803

I have the obsessions with POAS and this morning I went into total panic mode because it didn't show up straight away I'm also worrying because the line isn't getting as dark. I really am torturing myself 😥

I was taking the Proceive from Holland and Barratt when trying to get pregnant. I have now moved onto the Proceive Trimester 1 but not sure what they are like as I haven't started them yet @Boredinthehouse12 xx

RaisingCornishWildlings · 04/10/2023 07:05

@BrwnX 🙋🏻‍♀️ another POAS obsessive here!!

And now I'm FREAKING out as I've got a lighter line today! Yesterday's seemed slightly lighter than Monday's and todays is lighter still.
😢😢

In the photo, top one is 2nd Oct, middle 3rd Oct, bottom today.

If you look back on my previous posts, it's been a really strong progression before then!
I only found out a week ago when it was a squinter!!

Due June 24?
BrwnX · 04/10/2023 07:11

The horrible anxiety feeling is terrible isn't it 😥 I think they look fine @RaisingCornishWildlings but someone telling you that doesn't change how you're feeling and the horrible thoughts that creep in.
I read somewhere that it doesn't matter with the darkness of the lines but I read a lot of things so the truth in that not sure 😅

How many weeks are you? X

RaisingCornishWildlings · 04/10/2023 07:13

I don't know when I ovulated- as have very irregular cycle- but going on when we DTD, when I first felt "off", had cramps and then spotting 8 days ago, I'm assuming implantation was last Monday, so I think I'm about 4 weeks now!

It's so anxiety inducing

HappyValleyFan1 · 04/10/2023 08:27

@Boredinthehouse12 fellow MC sufferer here so know exactly where your head is at. Just take it day by day is the only thing you can do and affirmation that "today I am pregnant"

@Jak803 definitely normal for symptoms to come and go at this stage

@IDontDrinkTea congratulations 🎉 sometimes nice to be the last to know though right? 😜

@RaisingCornishWildlings I think they look fine, definitely nothing to worry about but I know that's easier said than done.

I had my appointment at EPU on Monday to try and get hold of my meds for recurrent MC. Annoyingly the consultant is off this week so apparently that means no one else can sort. They did an abdo scan and saw a yolk sac and dated me about 4 weeks (surprised they picked up on an abdo scan tbh) I put myself at 5+1 and didn't expect to see a lot so trying not to get too hung up on the dates being out. Rescan in a couple of weeks

BrwnX · 04/10/2023 08:39

I feel you, @RaisingCornishWildlings my anxiety is through the roof 😢😢

EWH · 04/10/2023 08:46

Also hear you all! Just did another test this morning and panicked as it’s not any darker. IVF DE cycle so I know my dates…Will test again Friday although now tempted to test am/pm! Urgh will email clinic on Friday to arrange a beta I think…. @HappyValleyFan1 thats crazy your Gp can’t prescribe progesterone based on your history. Great the scan gave you some positive news x

RaisingCornishWildlings · 04/10/2023 09:40

@Ewh and @BrwnX I don't know why we do it to ourselves- pure torture! I swear I've got worse with each pregnancy!

Anyone else swaying in the breeze? I feel so lightheaded and woozy! I ate a decent breakfast, I actually slept pretty well last night and I've had enough to drink..

It's just weird for me to be feeling these symptoms so early on! Normally nothing til 6 ish weeks! I feel so odd, like I've been up all night!

BrwnX · 04/10/2023 10:24

Yeah I'm feeling a little like this! @RaisingCornishWildlings I feel starving but so nauseated 🤢 the tiredness I have is also so bad haha I can't remember feeling like this last time. I also have mild cramps which is the thing that's freaking me out the most but I know they can also be completely normal.

I did have nausea like this quite early on last time as well xx
