Hi! Just had a BFP after a MC at 8 weeks last year, and am looking for folks to breathe through the next few weeks with. I am in an age bracket where MC risk is high and I’m trying not to get ahead of myself!

I can't figure out how to send a message in here what's the name of the group on Facebook I can prob find it that way

@LizzeyBenett there is 3 dots on the right next to the name, if you click on them it should come up with a few options and then one should be pm. I only figured it out last night lol x

Jak803 · 16/10/2023 10:48

@LavenderJoy 6 weeks and 5 days today. The next few weeks will be anxious ones but fingers crossed…

Hello everyone - congratulations on your bfp’s! Just found out yesterday that I am expecting number 2 when my little girl is 7.5 months so a little shocked but also very happy

Stephy1024 · 16/10/2023 13:50

I finally bit the bullet and booked a private scan for the 31st of this month. I should be 8.5 weeks by then. Hopefully this time everything will be as it should be 🤞🏻

cdn298 · 16/10/2023 14:22

Hi, can I join please? I had my first BFP on 27.09.2023 and have taken soo many since! I did stop when I got 3+ on a digital though! I've worked out that i'm around 6 + 3 weeks due around 07.06.2023 😊

HappyValleyFan1 · 16/10/2023 14:55

Had my repeat scan today and EPU and saw a heartbeat 💓 measuring 7 weeks which is what I expected. Still apprehensive due to the previous losses but feel good today 😃

LavenderJoy · 16/10/2023 15:06

Good luck everyone!

Whe did everyone else get there 3+ on CBD, I did one on Sunday I would have been 5+1 and it came up 2-3 weeks, does that sound right or do you think I should be concerned my hcg levels aren't high enough? I'm going to do another one next week and hoping it goes up 🙏
I keep panicking that my symptoms are dissappearing and that I don't feel pregant, the wait to my scan is so long!

mumsince2021 · 16/10/2023 15:21

Hi everyone, so lovely to see so many of you with good news for June 2024 😃 I just found out at the weekend that I'm expecting my second (I've got a 21 month old) so posting with the hope this one sticks as I've had chemicals in the past! I think it will be the very end of June for me. Much better due date than I had with my son who was born just after Christmas.

G7X · 16/10/2023 15:38

@LavenderJoy strangely I was about to post the same question. I was 5+1 on Friday and got 2-3 weeks on the CBD. When I had my 5 week scan the midwife said she thought I was more like 4-5 weeks from what she could see (she said she saw a pregnancy sac and yolk sac) so maybe things just happened later than I thought? I had done ovulation test last month so thought I was clear on dates but she just said they are not reliable. I have been googling like mad and apparently people sometimes get the 3+ a bit later. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Jak803 · 16/10/2023 15:56

@HappyValleyFan1 yay that’s great news!

Stephy1024 · 16/10/2023 16:09

I got my 3+ on the 4th October so that would have made me 5 weeks. But everyone's base line is different to start off with. I wouldn't get hung up on it.

LavenderJoy · 16/10/2023 16:15

Thanks @Stephy1024 and @G7X , yeah maybe they can implant later, I know my dates are exact as I had ivf and a frozen transfer, I'm just hoping my levels need to rise abit more 🙏
I was looking at the levels on the website and it seems they are quite big ranges so I'm hoping that's why.
That's reassuring that they could see that on the scan, my first scan will be when I'm 7 weeks, so a couple more weeks to go..

Goldie1234 · 16/10/2023 16:17

@LavenderJoy I read that CBD are weeks from conception rather than weeks pregnant (from last period). I'm really hoping that's the case as I did one yesterday that came up as 1-2 weeks and I was 14dpo.

cosymama2020 · 16/10/2023 17:03

@HappyValleyFan1 @Jak803 snap! Had a scan today and saw little baba’s heartbeat 😍

My 3+ weeks on a digital showed up around 5+2 for me 😊

LavenderJoy · 16/10/2023 19:01

Thank you @cosymama2020 and @Goldie1234 , that's reassured me a little, I'll try again in few days 🤞

MsDeanna36 · 16/10/2023 19:02

I've been offered an early scan at 6 1/2 weeks because of previous early losses. Is it completely safe to do it?

mumsince2021 · 16/10/2023 19:14

I always think it's best to go on ovulation (if you know it) when counting the weeks for those digital tests rather than weeks from the start of the last period.

E.g with my last pregnancy I got my 3+ weeks on a digital on cycle day 31 because I ovulated on cycle day 10, earlier than most.

I actually lied when registering my last pregnancy about the date of my last period as I knew it would throw off their dates for scans etc due to the early ovulation 😂 and it worked as at the 12 week NHS scan they said I was measuring exactly on date.

Jak803 · 16/10/2023 19:37

@cosymama2020 Brilliant news!

Joining tentatively if that's okay. Literally just had my positive test today! Feeling a bit numb so far (in a v.good way!)
Crossing everything and hoping and praying for another healthy and successful pregnancy. (Already got one toddler).
Congratulations to everyone else on their BFPs 🥰 Xx

PurpleIsTheColour · 17/10/2023 07:01

I didn’t get my 3+ on the CBD until 5 +6 so I wouldn’t worry about it. The ranges overlap a lot between 2-3 and 3+ so in a lot of women it doesn’t show 3+ until about 6 weeks.

I had my private scan this weekend when I should be 6 +4 and the little bean was flickering away so it was a huge relief for us. It was only measuring 5 +5 but I’m not too concerned about it at the moment as it’s so difficult to measure it so early on when it’s only 4.5mm big😍

I am 7 weeks tomorrow and my symptoms are increasing with every day- I feel very light headed and tired most of the days now although it’s not full on nausea, and I get pretty intense cramping 2-3 days of the week. I did have a lot of cramping with my DD so I’m guessing everything is growing there like last time🤞

LavenderJoy · 17/10/2023 07:23

@PurpleIsTheColour thank you!

Thats lovely it must be a relief, I can't wait for mine 🤞
I agree I wouldn't worry about measurements this early on, seeing a heartbeat is a great sign ❤️
I haven't had many symptoms yet, I think tiredness is starting to set in, but I read that prednisolone can sometimes mask pregnancy symptoms so that might be why for me.

RenewableNewt · 17/10/2023 08:39

Hi everyone, please may I join in? I’m 4+4 with our first, so very very early days yet, but all being well I think the due date will be 20-22 June.

I’ve not yet phoned the GP to get anything started or booked in so I must get on with that! This is all brand new to me, there’s going to be so much to learn!

mumsince2021 · 17/10/2023 08:40

Ladies I'm new to using these clear blue tests (previous pregnancy it was all FRERs) but am I right in thinking this line progression is poor and not a good a sign? Top is Sunday (afternoon) and bottom is this morning (FMU). I would expect to see a much stronger line after 2 days.

Due June 24?
Goldie1234 · 17/10/2023 09:31

@mumsince2021 looks like good progression to me !
