Hi! Just had a BFP after a MC at 8 weeks last year, and am looking for folks to breathe through the next few weeks with. I am in an age bracket where MC risk is high and I’m trying not to get ahead of myself!

@cosymama2020 Yes, I lost weight too in my first pregnancy and I'm hoping this time it will be the same! I hope we both can do it 💪

@Spottybutterfly Same here: I was just starting to loose weight this summer, after loosing some during my first pregnancy but then regaining it again in the last couple of years. Sorry if this is too personal but, how do you approach it? Will you try actively to loose weight? Or just be mindful of eating well and/or exercising without thinking numbers on the scale? (The latter would be my preferred option, but I get anxious).

@Senso21 I also had a flu jab with my first pregnancy and I don't remember it being an issue if it was in early or latter pregnancy (at least, nobody told me anything about it).

I've been having trouble sleeping at night, mainly because I wake up 5 o 6 times (that I recall!) to empty my bladder 🙄 Also I'm having such strange dreams! Busy and anxious dreams! But then I don't remember them...

I have pregnancy sickness which is eased by eating, so more likely to end up massive this pregnancy. Im having to eat every 2 hours.

Hopefully by the second trimester I can eat less.

Hi everyone! I got my BFP yesterday, only 4 weeks so vv early days but happy to be here😊if all goes well this will be my DC2 - DC1 is 3.5. I don't think it's really sunk in at all yet...

Not joking, the only thing that doesn’t make me want to vomit is air fryer fries or crisps. Not exactly the healthiest! I had a bit of trifle a couple of days ago and my stomach thought it was in heaven. I’ve got a load of salad bits in for now with the hope I’ll try and give this baba some form of minerals!

Hi everyone. Got my positive 5 days before my period with easy at home tests. Pretty early! 3 days of positives now, slightly darker each day. I have a history of miscarriages so Im trying not to get too excited, but it all goes well, ill be due 24 June 2024. My boobs are itchy and I have a bloated achey tummy

@cosymama2020 god the food aversions are so strange aren't they. I usually have such a sweet tooth but the thought of chocolate or similar is making me feel so sick. Haven't drunk a cuppa for 5 days (I'm usually a 4x a day person) and all I want is salt and meat.
I was similar when I was pregnant with my son but I'd kinda forgotten how much you really really really don't want to eat certain things, it's bizarre!

Hey! And congrats! It’s very similar to mine with the test, I think mine was 4 days before with the same tests. I also had a mmc in July, so I’m praying that this time I get my rainbow! 🌈

Got my BFP yesterday after 2 years of trying and two days into my first meds for IVF still can't believe it but 6 positive tests since Wednesday... terrified as I had a previous MC at 7 weeks and took two years after that to get to this.

Morning everyone and congratulations ! Hope to join you. I got my BFP a few days ago verrryyy early on a bit of a whim and have been spending a fortune on tests since, I can't quite belive it! We've been trying for about 6 months, but this month I stopped drinking coffee and my partner was taking supplements, so fingers crossed. I can't sleep at night I'm so anxious !! It's good to see people are being offered EPU scans for reassurance, I'm going to try to book in.

Congratulations @LizzeyBenett does that mean you found out you were pregnant before doing the full round of IVF ?

@Goldie1234 yes I had just started taking norethisterone I was two days in and because of the medication said I better check just to be safe and here we are 6 positive tests later . I was an absolute mess I cried my eyes out because they cancelled my IVF and was absolutely convinced they were false Positives. Feel like I just won the lottery. Very very early days so fingers crossed this goes well.

Is it normal for boob pain to not be as bad one day? There still slightly tender but that’s it! Oh I’m stressing myself out with all this x

Mine change day to day and throughout the day. Killer first thing in the morning (struggling to lift my arms high enough to brush my hair bad) but better in the afternoon. The last two days have been worse than the few days before that.

I think I’m struggling with the boobs more than anything because that was a sign last time for me. It just completely went away. I do still have it and probably going to make it worse by pushing on them ALL the time 😂. It’s more around like my nipple area more than anything. X

Some days my boobs hurt so much, they seem huge and I can’t bare to wear anything other than a sports bra to keep them from moving. Other days they just feel sore as though I’m due on my period. I think everything tends to fluctuate day to day, same with the sickness/tiredness. Some days are better than others x

My thing at the moment is having unquenchable thirst. It’s not all day, mainly in the evenings, I could just drink non stop from about 8pm!

Hi everyone, can I join please :)

I finally got my long awaited BFP last week after multiple rounds of IVF , this was actually my 7th embryo transferred (lucky number 7 lol) so I am feeling really apprehensive. I have an early scan booked in at 7 weeks, im currently 5+2.
I had lots of symptoms around the time I found out but I feel that my symtoms are becoming less, or just now and again. It does make it difficult to go off though as I'm on so much medication 🙉 does any anyone have this? How is everyone feeling?
I wake up everyday feeling not pregnant 😩

Congrats to all the new arrivals and all the BFPS! I can’t figure out how to post FB link but hopefully I’ll see you over there soon.

Nausea definitely ramping up now, saw a heartbeat at the EPU on Saturday which was reassuring for now. And I just did a huge sneeze, lol!
