@Mangotango39 not just me then! I’m wondering if this heat is giving a bad stomach 🤔

I can’t wait to find out. For me i think I can be a lot more excited and less nervous when I can put a name to them. I also think buying things and getting their room ready will be a good healing process for me.

Ladies I can’t believe I’m writing this but I’m just so lost and in shock.
My partner suddenly and tragically passed away on Monday.
Im terrified my grief and sadness is going to affect the pregnancy and/or the baby.
I was already anxious due to my previous pre term birth.
Additionally, I’ve no idea how I’m going to cope raising a baby without it’s Daddy who loved it so much and was so excited.
I’m living in actual hell.
My midwife has been great and got me emergency scans to check all was ok.
We wanted a second child for so long after 5 miscarriages and now it’s hopefully finally happening Im in this nightmare position wishing he was here to support me.
He was the most loving and caring person and now he’s gone.

@Nemo145 oh my goodness you poor thing 😢😢 do you mind me asking what happened? Make sure you surround yourself with family and support and you’ve always got everyone here too ❤️❤️ I’m so so sorry for you this is terrible 😢

@Nemo145 Oh sweetheart, I can't imagine what you're going through, I'm so sorry. I actually know two kids whose fathers passed away while their mothers were pregnant and they're fine and healthy and pretty well rounded (both under 5). Hope you continue to get loads of support. ❤️

Oh my god I am so incredibly sorry to read this today @Nemo145 sending you so much love and support.
All I know is that us humans are capable of such incredible strength in the hardest of times, even when we don’t think we can possibly make it through.. I will

Thank you everyone. Just surviving minute by minute.
I know family and friends are well meaning when they keep saying this baby will keep his memory alive but I just feel like that’s added pressure on me to have a healthy pregnancy when I feel so low and raise a baby on my own x

@Nemo145 I think people fumble around with what to say, and it's not always right, even if it is well meaning. Take all the help you can get, you're pregnant and in terrible shock. People will want to help but not know how. Don't feel bad to tell them also if you need some practical support but also time to yourself. Sending love xx
