@Kelb79 I have had in past with one of my son's a snuzpod their great for co-sleeping but found that their abit on the smaller size so baby did outgrow pretty quickly, I would recommend maybe a chicco next to me crib or a tutti bambini next to me crib - (as that's what I bought last year for my 4th born off gumtree (second hand for £75 bargain!) The chicco next to me crib is cheaper than the tutti bambini if your looking at buying brand new 🙂 but size wise their alot bigger than the snuzpod so baby will last longer in! x

I live in a bungalow so getting a bedside sleeper with wheels then I can roll it round in the daytime.
The one I have my eye on has wheels and rocker option!

Ooh what one do you have your eye on? We got the Stokke one last time that keeps converting bigger, and it was fab to wheel it around. My toddler is still in it though and wiling be two when next one is due, so not sure if I can move him to a bed yet or will have to get another

Mangotango39 · 18/10/2023 13:41

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 it's the 'CoZee Breeze Plus Co-Sleeping Bassinet with Rocking Legs in Scandi Walnut and Ecru'

Reviews seem really good!

For anyone that has used the tutti bambini cozee crib - did you buy their mattress protector/sheets too? They're just so overpriced! Wondering if there are other brands products that will do the job!
I have a mental image of a too tight sheet popping off and covering baby's face in the middle of the night :(

Cheetocat · 18/10/2023 17:37

I feel like my mind is playing tricks on me, I was reading something on my phone while it was resting on the side of my bump and it literally got smacked, I was shocked so I just sat there for a second and it happened again. Surely the baby can't be that strong and in that position (bellybutton height) at 22w4d??

Mummapenguin20 · 18/10/2023 18:24

@Cheetocat baby really can be x

@Cheetocat I'm a couple days ahead of you and was lying down on my side and she was kicking away and I could see the movement!

Cheetocat · 18/10/2023 18:33

Wow thanks, I'm delighted. He's definitely in a new position because I usually feel him strongly down low after meals and I haven't been for two days!

LavenderSweetPea · 18/10/2023 21:19

@Cheetocat I've been feeling kicks at about bellybutton height for a week or so now. It's strong as well, can easily see the movement!

CheeseAndCrackersx · 18/10/2023 21:52

I know they say lack of movement is only a concern after 28 weeks but it's such a worrying time even now. I know he still has lots of room and is only small himself but it's a worry when you often feel him lots but is rather quiet today. Then you're questioning was that a kick or just my mind hoping 😵‍💫

Havanalily1806 · 19/10/2023 08:16

@CheeseAndCrackersx
If it helps, I'd had a few days where movements felt a lot less than I had been having, had my 24 week midwife appt yesterday, when she was checking the heartbeat it kept being interrupted by her moving around, she was all over the place and I couldn't feel a thing. I'm 24+4 now, so try not to worry as there's still plenty of room in there where we won't feel a lot of their movements

MummyTo4BoysXXXX · 19/10/2023 11:05

@Mummapenguin20 congratulations! 😊

Just got positive on a covid test, almost had to go to A&E last night because I'm so ill, really worried about my baby.

Hope you feel better soon. Try not to worry too much. Have you had the vaccination? My hospital had run out, really desperate to get one.

Cheetocat · 19/10/2023 11:28

@redxlondon No, I was planning to get it in the next couple of weeks, hope you can get it soon!

I’ve just found a pharmacy near my house that has some for tomorrow so I’ve booked in. Don’t see that it matters whether I go to antenatal ward or a pharmacy to get it….?
feel better x

PeeBeee · 19/10/2023 14:06

Hi ladies, is anyone experiencing braxton hicks yet? I thought I did yesterday but it’s been on and off now for 24 hours. My tummy, especially the top is hard, tight and almost crampy but not like period pains if that makes sense. My little girl keeps wanting picked up too which isn’t helping how tense it feels

Could it be ligament pain? I’m feeling a lot of tightness this week.

Thewildthingsarewithme · 19/10/2023 15:31

Happy to have found the new thread for Feb babies, hope everyone is doing well 😊

novamama · 19/10/2023 17:17

@redxlondon got my covid vaccine through NHS, at a local pharmacy if helpful! I found next day appointment too.

novamama · 19/10/2023 17:27

@Cheetocat I hope you feel better soon and rest as much as possible :(

@PeeBeee I am pretty sure I have had Braxton Hicks multiple times already; they were not painful though, compared to my belly button pain and all the other weird and wonderful pains I felt. I also had LOTS of round ligament pain and that is a very distinct feeling for me also the localisation if RLP is on the sides. When I get Braxton Hicks it basically feels the same as when I have an orgasm - the whole uterus tenses up, it's so bizarre!

undercoverhero74 · 19/10/2023 21:40

Those of you that have had a recent Covid Vaccine, have you had to pay?
Just looked online and it seems pregnancy doesn't make you eligible where I am 😩

undercoverhero74 · 19/10/2023 21:45

Ignore my last. Just chanced an online booking and the first question they asked was "are you pregnant" it then stated I was eligible and I'm booked in for Saturday 😊
