I'm currently 11dpo. Had a two faint positives yesterday followed by a positive clear blue this morning. This will hopefully be my second pregnancy due around 14th May by dates. Just wondered if anybody wanted to share the journey, symptoms and advice 🥰

@Laura96 congrats, they're great lines!!! I had a chemical last month and the line was always very faint, nothing like that so that's a good sign hopefully 😊 I hope ypur pregnancy goes very smoothly. X

Laura96 · 09/09/2023 18:52

@Twdfn123 so sorry to hear about your chemical last month!
Thanks for that that's really reassuring!!
And thank you!! ❤️

bellaflower · 09/09/2023 18:52

@Laura96 it's the unknown that's scary for me. But we're so happy and keeping positive.
Is that a private scan? Are they expensive?

Twdfn123 · 09/09/2023 18:54

@Laura96 no problem. I've got my BFP this month. Still 4 days away from my period but got such a dark line I'm feeling a bit hopeful too 😊

Due May 2024?
Laura96 · 09/09/2023 18:55

@bellaflower exactly and its like all you are going off is a test and I don't like feel very pregnant so really weird isnt it!! But yes we are so so excited was lots of tears on Thursday! We just came back off holiday and I had a feeling so thought let's just test! I had what I now know was a small implantation bleed on holiday so that's interesting!
Yes private scan
The one we have found is about £75 so not bad, they check for heartbeat and can give a better idea of how far along etc xx

Laura96 · 09/09/2023 18:57

@Twdfn123 that's amazing!!!! Such a good line too!!!
I did a clearblue early yesterday and the line disappeared this morning so I freaked out even tho it was a dark line yesterday so I picked up another test and it was dark positive again so I think it maybe was the components in the test broke it down maybe over 24 hours? Who knows but think I need to stop stressing!!
May babies girls!!!

TheBirdintheCave · 09/09/2023 18:58

@Twdfn123 @Aimee944 Thanks ladies! Sticky beans for all of us I hope! We've sadly lost three already after having our son in 2020.

TTCbaby2x · 09/09/2023 18:59

Anyone else having shooting pains down there legs? Is this a normal symptom?

bellaflower · 09/09/2023 18:59

Aw that's lovely.
It's so weird seeing the word pregnant on the screen. I had to do at least another 2 tests to confirm 😂
Same here with the implantation bleed, I kept thinking my period was staring but it wasn't much at all.
We weren't really planning, but said , if it happens it happens. We got married in July. Didn't expect it to happen just yet 🙈
Ah that's good, thanks for the info

Twdfn123 · 09/09/2023 19:26

@TheBirdintheCave hopefully May babies for all of us. This is my 4th pregnancy and hopefully my second DC. Good luck to all of us!!!! Xxxxx

Aimee944 · 09/09/2023 19:44

@TTCbaby2x yes I've had this today, off and on nothing to bad just a few niggly pains, I spoke to a friend who's a nurse and she has said this is normal, just your body reacting to the pregnancy, hope all goes well for you 💜 xx

Laura96 · 09/09/2023 21:00

@bellaflower I know so strange!! What did your digital say again? How many weeks?
Yeah I had like pink discharge for a day and then 1 bit of blood when wiped so I thought ah period is here again so had some drinks that night (prob a bit too much!) And then next day I was like oh no more bleeding strange!!
Obviously was our lucky month ❤️🥰

TTCbaby2x · 09/09/2023 21:06

@Aimee944 Thanks Aimee ❤️ I've had the same types of niggily pains in my bum cheeks too🙈😂 xx

bellaflower · 09/09/2023 21:15

@Laura96 it said 2-3 weeks since conception, so I've worked it out (thanks to apps) that my due date is 13th May.

Your experience with implantation bleeding was very similar to mine.

I do have a bit of guilt as before I knew I was pregnant, I was drinking over the bank holiday weekend. But I wasn't to know and surely cannot be the only one that's happened to.

How are you feeling?

Laura96 · 09/09/2023 21:23

@bellaflower exactly I just think some don't know till 8 or even 12 weeks and they would carry on as normal I have just obviously stopped now and caffeine etc now I know
I feel great to be honest just really excited!!
My due date is around 15th May!

bellaflower · 09/09/2023 21:24

@Laura96 aw I love this!
Yeah, I spent the last day or so, understanding what I can and cannot eat.
Decaf tea is now my go to Brew

Laura96 · 09/09/2023 21:25

@bellaflower same here and currently sipping on nosecco!! Haha so exciting!

Drinkingwaters · 10/09/2023 10:59

Hey everyone,

Got my positive this morning finally😭 think I'll be due on 19th May, it's my first pregnancy so I'm incredibly anxious!

May94x · 10/09/2023 11:31

Hi everyone I’m very nervously joining after getting a BFP this morning!!!

In the last year I’ve had a MMC at 12 weeks, then a chemical, then the loss of our baby at 19 weeks. Had an incredibly heartbreaking journey so far but trying to be as positive as I can for this pregnancy!!

My period isn’t due for another 4/5 days but I’ve taken a few tests over the last couple of days that have been progressing nicely to an obvious positive this morning 🤍 nice to meet everyone xxx

Due May 2024?
Twdfn123 · 10/09/2023 11:33

@May94x wow what a journey, so sorry to hear but congratulations on your BFP. That's a lovely line. Wishing you all the best ❤❤❤🤰

positivethoughts144 · 10/09/2023 11:36

@HashB
Thanks for the advice... I called EPU yesterday and they they have now booked me in for an early scan... I'll be around 6w5.
It should be such an exciting time but I'm not getting even remotely excited until I see that little heartbeat flashing away... just trying to act like it's just any other day for now because the pain of last month was too much... 🌈

May94x · 10/09/2023 12:14

@Twdfn123 aww thank you 🤍 same to you lovely xx

Floralsandsmiles · 10/09/2023 12:22

Hi ladies! I'm 12dpo and had my BFP since 9DPO. The positive tests are slowly getting stronger each day! I had some brown discharge yesterday and nothing since. It could have been implantation.. however that won't make sense as to why I had a positive since 9dpo, as I read you wouldn't get a positive test until its implanted... Confused!
Anyways did you all get pulling sensations still? I read that anything resembling a cramp is bad after implantation and now I'm conscious of every pull.. predictor says I'm due 21st May xxx

Congratulations 🥳

Cramps are very normal in early pregnancy while everything is beginning to stretch.
