I'm currently 11dpo. Had a two faint positives yesterday followed by a positive clear blue this morning. This will hopefully be my second pregnancy due around 14th May by dates. Just wondered if anybody wanted to share the journey, symptoms and advice 🥰

@jclose YEP 😴😴 work is such a struggle!

Holdmysunhat · 29/09/2023 20:28

Me too @Twdfn123 I’m a much less nice person than normal right now! I can’t be bothered with anyone and I’m trying to lay low so I don’t have to interact haha

Anyone else getting mouth ulcers? They’re driving me insane

I had another scan today and this time a very small fetal pole was seen, no heartbeat. I’m still getting a 2-3 weeks on a clear blue digital and tbh it’s fuelling my anxiety but I can’t stop testing as I just want to see that 3+. I know I’m being irrational but my anxiety is though the roof.

I’m 6 weeks exactly today.

hCG by my blood test was:

25/09 1143
27/09 2242

So really I should be getting a 3+ on a clear blue.

Has anyone had similar experiences at 6 weeks? I’m sure of my dates.

hey your scan report looks
exactly like mine. but they didn't see a yolk sac, try not to stress too much about seeing the heartbeat as still really early to see.
my scan next tuesday can't come
soon enough! x

yes to mouth ulcers!! what on earth is that about? lol
never had it with my last 2 pregnancies
my gums feel really sensitive too

Holdmysunhat · 29/09/2023 22:10

Hideous isn’t it @nh93!I mean, it’s not as objectively bad as the vomiting and other complaints but really feels like it’s adding insult to injury! 😂 Poor you with sensitive gums. I’ve just realised I have this a bit too!

LBNM19 · 30/09/2023 06:23

@nh93 that makes me feel reassured! Let me know how your scan goes next week. My next one isn’t until the 11/10. Xx

Hey ladies! Happy Weekend!

I'm trying to be positive and look forward to my re-scan on Weds but it's so hard.

I want more than anything right now for our rainbow baby to have grown and there be a healthy heartbeat. Seeing just a yolk sac and only scanning at just over 5 weeks when I thought going by LMP I was 7 was heartbreaking. But then, I remind myself I was 20 weeks pregnant last year without knowing.

I keep waking up nauseous with headaches. Sore boobs and heartburn on and off and feeling tired and laaazy.

We are taking my 14 year old son out today for a treat. Hopping in a bus to the nearest city so my DP cc an have a beer and we can go to a fab pizza place. I'm hoping my aches and pains and my lower back don't moan like they have been. 🙄🤣

Just trying to take my mind off my anxiety. What are you all up to? Any plans?

QueeniePlumtree · 30/09/2023 08:29

Should add I can't even be bothered to drive!! 🤣🤣🤣

TheBirdintheCave · 30/09/2023 08:50

@QueeniePlumtree My toddler has a football class and then we might go out for lunch and then visit the aquarium in Brighton depending on how well I feel.

It was supposed to be a full day outing for my birthday (which was on Tues) but we'll have to delay it until my morning sickness is gone as I just won't enjoy it.

Happy Birthday for Tuesday!! I completely understand how you feel! I hope you have a lovely day whatever you do! X

UnderstatedElegance · 30/09/2023 12:14

Belated Happy Birthday @TheBirdintheCave
I've got a really lazy day planned. Dh is out for the day and the teens are busying themselves. I didn't wake up until 11 - I've not done that in years. I'll probably take the dogs to a dog park and then just watch some tv. I'm so incredibly tired, but then feel so guilty for doing not a lot.
First early scan is tomorrow. I'm either 6w5d or 6w3d today depending on which app I look at. Have a lovely weekend ladies.

Dexnt15 · 30/09/2023 12:42

Is anyone else experiencing integestion/heartburn? My nausea has started in the past couple of days, especially when hungry, but the integestion just doesn’t seem to want to go away!

Sandy2323 · 30/09/2023 12:47

@QueeniePlumtree happy birthday 🥳
Yes I also have heartburn especially before I go to bed and also nauseous when hungry.
Me and my housekeeper deep cleaning the house. But im already tired 😂 it's crazy actually.
Then hopefully nice relaxing evening if I don't fall asleep 😂

Nina7 · 30/09/2023 13:37

Hi all, I hope you're having a good weekend, not too tiring (as our battery capacity is very limited ATM).

I've had my early scan today!! I've been very impatient, mainly to single out an ectopic, but also just very excited.

So, according to my LMP I'm 6+2, according to ovulation sticks I'm 6+0. No serious symptoms apart from sore boobs (and maybe a hint of nausea on an empty stomach).

Everything was perfect, fetal pole measured 3.4mm, which brings me to 5w0days (so more than a week behind according to LMP - but not something to worry about I don't think)
and there was a tiny heartbeat as well!!

Oh, the scan was also from above (not transvaginal as I expected). I think she would have gone transvaginal if she couldn't see it clearly.

Due May 2024?

Meggan123 · 30/09/2023 15:55

@Nina7 glad your scan went well!! Such a relief.

it’s interesting how almost everyone has been pushed back a week! Is that because early scans are inaccurate and they eventually catch up to the correct date?
Out of interest who for people who have been scanned? Were you pushed back? Or on track? And if so how sure of your dates were you?

junebuglb · 30/09/2023 17:03

Great news re the healthy scan! I’m feeling pretty nervous, I have my first scan tomorrow morning. I think I should be 7+5 but mentally preparing in case I’m told otherwise. It’s so strange, I feel like my nausea has massively lifted over the past couple of days and it’s cruel that a break from symptoms just makes me panic that something is wrong!

Hope everyone else is doing ok. X

Sandy2323 · 30/09/2023 17:14

@Nina7 congratulations that's amazing you seen the heartbeat:) I think that also mean it's more than 5w0d as it's very uncommon to see heartbeat until 5,5-6 weeks so I think everything is perfect:)

QueeniePlumtree · 30/09/2023 19:16

Congrats Nina!

I was pushed back, I expected to be around 7 weeks, but sonographer said around 5 or 5 and a half. Yolk Sac, no heartbeat. Due a rescan on Weds. It's been a long nerve wracking 2 weeks.

I've read so many people being pushed back, so I too think it's early scans and growth catching up, but who knows!?

I am getting heartburn too and v tired. I was in bed for 9.30 last night, that's never ever me at a weekend! 🤣

MIL wanted to meet us for drinks tomorrow before they head off for a 15 night cruise, I've arranged coffee and cake in a local big garden centre instead, so there's no questioning why Mrs Ginny Wino here isn't drinking 🙈🙈😂

TheBirdintheCave · 30/09/2023 19:26

@Meggan123 I was for my first three pregnancies. This baby (5) tracks with my O date.

Baby 1: Forgot I ovulated a week later and thy were going by my LMP. Dates matched to my ovulation so all was well.

Baby 2: Measuring two weeks behind O date. MMC.

Baby 3: Measuring two days behind O, then five behind on a subsequent scan. MMC.

Nix273 · 30/09/2023 19:32

Has anyone started a Facebook group? I don’t want to join one that’s obvious what it’s for if friends see me joining on my timeline. For my last pregnancy I was in such a lovely little group that all got to know and support each other and still in touch now, hoping for something like that again as it was a lifeline. Happy to start something too if anyone interested in joining just don’t want to duplicate 😊

TheBirdintheCave · 30/09/2023 20:26

We do have one yes and it's not obvious what it is :) I think one of the admin team has to share the linky.

Nix273 · 30/09/2023 20:37

Thanks hopefully someone sees and can share the link with me soon x

UnderstatedElegance · 30/09/2023 22:40

@Nina7 wonderful news re the scan!

@Nix273 I'd like to join a Facebook group too. I did see a link to a WhatsApp group, but I think one of the admins needs to accept any requests. I tried too join, but it hasn't worked properly.

Sandy2323 · 30/09/2023 22:42

Definitely would be nice to join Facebook or WhatsApp group

Meggan123 · 30/09/2023 23:31

I’d also be up for a FB or whatsapp, ideally not too big a group. I don’t like things that move to fast!
