Hi all! 😊

I got my bfp yesterday and although it's super early days (I'm only 12dpo), from looking at the NHS pregnancy calculator, I'd be due 2nd November...
Just thought I'd make this thread for anyone who has recently got their bfps and are due in November-time!

I thought we could use it to discuss how we are feeling, any symptoms/lack of symptoms we have etc. and just a safe place for a chat with people in the same boat!

Congratulations to everyone who have got their bfps and sending lots of sticky baby dust to all! 🤞✨💕

So wonderful to hear that most of you will be adding to your families 😍what exciting times

SnookyPook · 02/03/2023 23:07

My DS will be 2yrs 10months when no.2 arrives 🥰

I kind of feel a bit crazy cos life was beginning to feel more normal again and going back to newborn phase is a bit daunting (though not as much as for those with bigger gaps I'm sure!) I'm sure it will all be worth it though. Very much looking forward to baby snuggles and breastfeeding again 🥰

MooseWL · 03/03/2023 07:13

Mine will be 3. He's only just started sleeping well at around 2 and he is very very attached to me so I'm not sure how it's gonna go down. I have no idea how a baby and a 3 year old will work as he is feisty and I find it hard and so many People have told me age 3 is worse than 2
I had symptoms last weekend but they seem to have disappeared. I remember this with my son though. On the odd day I didn't feel nauseous I panicked and then when the nausea came back I wished I'd just enjoyed the day I felt OK 😅

@33Carr Hey 👋🏼
My daughter is 4 but will turn 5 before due date. She was always going to be an only child and then boom 💥 we decided we weren't a complete family yet. A smaller gap might of been a better idea as it feels a bit crazy to go back to nappies and sleepless nights again. I'm 36 and felt it was now or never. We got pregnant on second cycle.
What about you?

Same situation as us Smile

flightless55 · 03/03/2023 08:27

Any tips for easing the painful bloating??

behappy1736 · 03/03/2023 09:13

Well today I woke up with bleeding, I think it may be a chemical pregnancy as all of my tests yesterday were faint positives and I did some today which are still showing faint lines.
Feeling numb.

NatGee · 03/03/2023 09:34

@behappy1736 oh no :( is it heavy bleeding ? I hear sometimes pregnant ladies bleed a little. how many dpo are you? Sending you lots of hugs

Glitterb · 03/03/2023 10:25

@behappy1736 was it heavy bleeding? i had some light spotting last night before bed, had a completely sleepless night because of it. It has stopped now (hopefully) but I have a phone appointment with the doctor soon.

behappy1736 · 03/03/2023 10:30

Yes it's start of period like bleeding 😔
I've never experienced this before so I don't know what has happened does it sound like a chemical pregnancy to you?
At first I thought my tests were dodgy and giving false positives but surely not all 10 of them?! And they didn't look like evaps as they had colour to them.
I'm just so confused.

Due November 2023 ✨

Hello ladies :)
due on 2nd November, this will be my 4th child and a surprising one, because apparently I had 1% of getting pregnant hence we did not use protection 😂 aaaaand here we go…

it’s a pleasure to meet you all!

Phoenix40 · 03/03/2023 10:53

Me. And it’s my 5th pregnancy. If it wasn’t for my husband I wouldn’t even think when my last period was 😈
just bloating now.

Phoenix40 · 03/03/2023 10:55

You’ll be just fine with the little ones 😁
my helpers are 18,16 and 8🙈😂

Glitterb · 03/03/2023 11:19

@behappy1736 has the bleeding continued or has it now stopped?

I have had a phone call with the doctor and he wasn’t overly concerned as my bleeding was light and it stopped fairly quickly. If it does start again though I need to ring 111 over the weekend who will make an appointment with early pregnancy unit. I’m really worried

teatime2022 · 03/03/2023 11:28

I tested positive last week, which should take me to around 4th November (2 days after you!)

Mummy1502 · 03/03/2023 11:34

@behappy1736 I’ve just been through the exact same, I spotted only a tiny bit of brown then 2 days later bled fresh red blood for 2 days, confirmed chemical and tests turned negative, my positives were faint and never got much darker, it’s heartbreaking and I’m struggling to deal with it, now on my next cycle to hopefully get a sticky one this month, hope your okay x

@Phoenix40 Thankyou x

Hi ladies, I'm tentatively joining as I got my BFP a week ago, due date currently 6th Nov based on dates. Ive had an early loss and a couple of chemicals before hence the tentative join and my heart really does go out to those going through that at the moment. I'm taking each day as it comes and keeping everything crossed this is a sticky baby. I have one DD who will be 2.5 when baby arrives. I'm also not experiencing many symptoms other than needing a wee way more and very mild on and off crampy feelings. I do remember all the symptoms hitting me at once come week 6 with my DD so I'm sure it's all to come. Because of my previous losses I'm in a recurring miscarriage care at my hospital so I'll be having a few extra early scans which should help with my anxiety.

When did everyone get their 3+ on a clear blue digital? I've so far only got 2-3 which is what it should be right now but Monday I tip into 5 weeks so it should go up in theory but I don't want to test too early and stress myself out!

NatGee · 03/03/2023 12:28

@Maxime34 welcome, nice to see you here :) let's hope this time its a sticky bean for you. I am also fairly crampy but apart from that no other symptoms. I dont use clearblue but it must be a nice feeling when it says how far along you are

My little one will be 2yrs 4months when baby is due x

Phoenix40 · 03/03/2023 13:23

Anyone has early scans booked already?

LotzW · 03/03/2023 13:25

Wasn't planning to have an early scan this time but I'm already feeling like 12 weeks feels like years away especially as I found out before af. Would be nice to get some peace of mind 😬

NatGee · 03/03/2023 13:28

@Phoenix40 not yet. what are the early scans for, is it just for peace of mind as @LotzW says?

Phoenix40 · 03/03/2023 13:28

@Mummy1502 I’m so sorry 😞
