Hi all! 😊

I got my bfp yesterday and although it's super early days (I'm only 12dpo), from looking at the NHS pregnancy calculator, I'd be due 2nd November...
Just thought I'd make this thread for anyone who has recently got their bfps and are due in November-time!

I thought we could use it to discuss how we are feeling, any symptoms/lack of symptoms we have etc. and just a safe place for a chat with people in the same boat!

Congratulations to everyone who have got their bfps and sending lots of sticky baby dust to all! 🤞✨💕

Also how is everyone with exercising ? I usually do quite regularly but I've been a bit paranoid to in such early stages. I know that the official advice is to continue (and I will eventually ) - I just don't know if I should wait till like week 7 or something first. Thoughts ?

I've carried on playing netball - mainly because I don't want to tell anyone yet. I'll probably play for one or two more weeks and then make up an injury until I can tell them the truth at 12 weeks!

sweetdreams23 · 28/02/2023 21:54

Hi everyone, joining tentatively. Due date 10th Nov! Had BFO 10dpo… This is baby number 2 but pregnancy number 3 as had a miscarriage at around 8 weeks in December so thrilled to have conceived again first month of trying but taking each day at a time. Had a bit of pink/brown spotting today and yesterday, so fingers crossed it is implantation and doesn’t progress to anything more. Hopefully can stay and share the journey with you all!

@anna2101 I think if it's something you usually do fine to continue. I went to my tap dance class tonight. Did it all through my first pregnancy. Bloody knackered though 🤣 but if you're feeling well enough go for it! Bumpsandburpees on Instagram has some great pregnancy suitable workouts too

Glitterb · 01/03/2023 07:02

Symptoms have been mild cramps, extreme random bursts of tiredness, shortness of breath and I’ve completely lost my appetite!

@anna2101 sorry to hear about the acne, thats rubbish when you have just got rid of it!

As for exercise, I walk the dog morning and night but I am struggling even with that due to shortness of breath, have to keep doing it though as the dog has to go out!

MeganC104 · 01/03/2023 08:56

@anna2101 I do yoga and walk loads so I'll just switch to antenatal yoga and continue, hopefully to the end.

More nausea and heartburn this morning 😅

Runnergirl1 · 02/03/2023 07:29

anyone else just have no symptoms yet at all. I may need the toilet more and a little more tired but without the test last week I wouldn’t have any idea I was pregnant x

Lurknessmomstar · 02/03/2023 09:26

@Runnergirl1 seems like my symptoms come and go, and when I do feel some symptoms they're pretty mild 😬

MeganC104 · 02/03/2023 09:42

@Runnergirl1 yesterday I felt nauseous and had heartburn. Today I feel nothing again. It really does come and go at the moment for me. I'm 5 weeks+3 I think

behappy1736 · 02/03/2023 11:00

Hi everyone can I join please?
I'm in a bit of shock as I took these this morning as I just feel pregnant and they came back like this. I don't know how many dpo I am but my cycles are usually 32-35 days today is cd 29. I was convinced the first was an evap line but then I did more....
This will be our second baby and I'm just in shock because it's our first month of TTC and it took us 14 months with our first.
Anyway hi to everyone and congrats 👋🏻

@Runnergirl1 I don’t really have many symptoms either - had some mild cramping initially but now nothing really. Just don’t know if that’s worrying or not!

Hey! Congrats! When is your due date? We are also having baby number 2 and also conceived on the first month! How old is your other child?

Runnergirl1 · 02/03/2023 12:21

Thank you ladies. It’s just worrying me having no symptoms but I am still in the pretty early stages x

SnookyPook · 02/03/2023 13:07

@behappy1736 Congrats and welcome! 😁

@Runnergirl1 not much here yet. Occasionally a bit more hungry and tired but nothing majorly obvious. Last time it all kicked in more around 6+2 so will see how I am this time next week!!

I've been tentative too! I normally go for a long swim to nudge my period into starting if it's slow, so I associate it with starting to bleed!

I usually do long, brisk walks daily, but I find myself quite sluggish at the moment, so I'm just listening to my body and resting if I feel like it.

NatGee · 02/03/2023 14:45

Hello ladies, may I please join? AF was due today but it didn't come so I took a test and it was positive. Took 10 cycles so hope its a sticky one

I read almost the entire thread, my sympathies for those that saw no progression on their lines, its so heartbreaking but congratulations to all the bfps and November babies on their way :)
Also nice to see some familiar names from the TTC November baby thread

Right, so, this would be our first child and I have no idea what to do. Seems like I need to book an appointment with my GP? I must say it feels terribly early. We haven't told anyone so I have no idea what to do next.

@Runnergirl1 I haven't any symptoms either, but I bbt and I could see my temps not following the usual pattern. I have a bit of cramping but again, almost like AF is here, but then that's not unusual for me.

Congratulations! So exciting! Where I am you have to self refer online via the hospital website but if you call the gp surgery they will usually point you in the right direction as everywhere is different. I'm not quite sure when to register though as after my miscarriage in December I'm a bit apprehensive ! Thinking of booking an early scan around 7/8 week mark for reassurance which I also did with my daughter and it was amazing to see the heart beating without waiting the full 12 weeks!

SnookyPook · 02/03/2023 17:00

Lovely to see you here @NatGee ! 😁 Congrats again!

In my area the GPs have outsourced all this to midwifery services now and when I rang the midwife base, I was told to register online. So I've done that and now waiting to hear about booking appointment. But as @sweetdreams23 said, certainly call your GP and they will deffo be able to point you in the right direction for your area!

NatGee · 02/03/2023 17:09

Thank you so much @sweetdreams23 @SnookyPook very helpful, ill ring my gp now as they are still open

33Carr · 02/03/2023 17:51

Welcome to those new to the thread 😊😊

Those who already have a child/children, what are/will the age gaps be?

Ours will be 2 years. Bumps due date is one day behind what my sons was 😂

LotzW · 02/03/2023 17:54

@33Carr Hey 👋🏼
My daughter is 4 but will turn 5 before due date. She was always going to be an only child and then boom 💥 we decided we weren't a complete family yet. A smaller gap might of been a better idea as it feels a bit crazy to go back to nappies and sleepless nights again. I'm 36 and felt it was now or never. We got pregnant on second cycle.
What about you?

sweetdreams23 · 02/03/2023 18:36

@33Carr my daughter will be 3 and a half so hoping she will have a bit more understanding and can be more hands on! She absoloutly loves babies so think she will be over the moon although not sure how she will feel about sharing mummy Grin

My two boys will be 11 and 8 when the baby arrives! Quite a large age gap but the boys will be such great big brothers ❤️

behappy1736 · 02/03/2023 22:04

My son will be 6 and a half when baby 2 is due 😊
