Hi all! 😊

I got my bfp yesterday and although it's super early days (I'm only 12dpo), from looking at the NHS pregnancy calculator, I'd be due 2nd November...
Just thought I'd make this thread for anyone who has recently got their bfps and are due in November-time!

I thought we could use it to discuss how we are feeling, any symptoms/lack of symptoms we have etc. and just a safe place for a chat with people in the same boat!

Congratulations to everyone who have got their bfps and sending lots of sticky baby dust to all! 🤞✨💕

@Mummy1502 I'm so sorry to hear about your loses 😞 I would consider it a new cycle, however you may have remaining HCG in your system so should test again in two weeks. That's the advice I was given after my MMC anyway

Mummy1502 · 27/02/2023 10:43

@33Carr thankyou I have a doctors appointment this morning x

thecatsthecats · 27/02/2023 12:36

I think I belong on this one! A real surprise this month, for various reasons we really didn't think February's cycle counted, and I was so stressed when my period was due that I just assumed it was that!

Technically due 26th Oct, but I'm pretty sure I ovulated later, so I'm assuming November.

Went from a medium line to a dye stealer four days later, so fingers crossed!

33Carr · 27/02/2023 15:43

@thecatsthecats Congratulations 😊

UnwieldyRhombus · 27/02/2023 16:59

@Mummy1502 I'm so sorry. I hope you have support and can take it easy for a couple of days. It's so, so common but that doesn't make it any less painful. big hugs

Mummy1502 · 27/02/2023 17:07

@UnwieldyRhombus Thankyou x

Runnergirl1 · 27/02/2023 17:09

Think I’m jumping aboard. Baby #2 and due 5th November according to the NHS website.

MooseWL · 28/02/2023 05:40

Hi all,
Early days but due around 3rd Nov! Tested because I had some nausea and then the excess saliva around 13/14 dpo which I've only ever had when I was pregnant with my son!

SnookyPook · 28/02/2023 08:13

Congrats @Runnergirl1 @MooseWL ! Welcome! Still early days here too. Think I'm due on Halloween! Will it be your first baby? Feeling ok so far?

I got up quickly in the night and went super dizzy! Then woke again this morning still dizzy. Anyone else had dizzy spells?

Glitterb · 28/02/2023 10:04

Congratulations all the newbies!

I got my 3+ weeks on the clearblue this morning, first midwife appointment has been booked for 3rd April as well. We are going to book an early scan for mid March I think.
I’m currently exhausted, went to bed at 8.15pm last night and slept right though!

SnookyPook · 28/02/2023 10:33

@Glitterb ah that's nice! Still debating whether to get another CB to check progression...

Yeah tiredness is beginning to ramp up here a bit. Still no news on appointment/scan. Would be nice to know what dates I'm working towards!

Glitterb · 28/02/2023 10:43

@SnookyPook thank you! I just wanted to check it was progressing as I’m still in shock!

I just got an email saying they had booked me an appointment, I thought they might call me to check that was okay etc! Apparently the midwife in my village is awful so I’m dreading it! Have you self referred?

Runnergirl1 · 28/02/2023 11:03

@SnookyPook thank you. number 2 for me. Little one is 19months. Had a mmc before her so keeping my fingers crossed this sticks. Getting tired and having a few mild cramps and niggles x

UnwieldyRhombus · 28/02/2023 11:09

I found out on Thursday (5 days ago) but today is the day my period is due and I'm very happy to see a solid positive that came up very quickly!

I've left a message with midwife team for booking appointment but phoned my GP too as I had hyperemesis gravidarum last time starting at 6 weeks and I'm already feeling a bit nauseous at 4. If was horrible and debilitating and I want to make sure I'm as emotionally and physically prepared as possible. I'm scared! Anyone else on second or subsequent pregnancy and dealt with HG before?

Due 7th-ish but last time I went to 14 days overdue so I'm calling the due date 'November', lol. I think I ovulated early so the growth scan might date it earlier.

I still feel like I'm getting ahead of myself and still have worried with it being such early days but I want to feel I can let myself get excited now!

MeganC104 · 28/02/2023 11:21

Hi all! 5 weeks today according to my app but got a 3+ on the ClearBlue a few days ago so I might be further along than I think.

Symptoms disappeared for a bit but I think I'm feeling them again. Boobs are starting to get sore.

thecatsthecats · 28/02/2023 11:44

I was dizzy a bit at first, but have settled down now.

Had cramps, sore boobs, insomnia, nausea, mood swings, brain fog - but all quiet today, mercifully! Except for insomnia. I'm trying not to be paranoid about symptoms settling down and just enjoy it whilst it's here.

thecatsthecats · 28/02/2023 11:53

Spoke too soon. My tits hurt.

MooseWL · 28/02/2023 12:11

@SnookyPook it's my second. Got an almost 2.5 year old whirlwind. I was sick until about 22 weeks last time so no idea how I'm going to deal with that and a toddler but I guess we have to!
I've already started feeling nauseous too which doesn't give me good vibes.
I'm still a bit in shock tbh. Doesn't feel real.

SnookyPook · 28/02/2023 12:53

@Glitterb yes I rang midwife and she said it's all done online now so had to register on there and now just waiting for them to update the record and add appointments etc.

@UnwieldyRhombus congrats! Feels like a bit of a milestone once AF doesn't come doesn't it?! No experience of HG so no idea I'm afraid but it sounds wise to confront it early and get as much support in place as possible! I feel so lucky not to have had horrendous sickness. Hope you're ok!

@Runnergirl1 @MooseWL it's my second too - DS turned 2 at end of Jan so we'll all have fairly similar gaps. I think (hope!) DS will cope quite well - he's got a baby cousin who he adores and has hopefully been good practice!

AKS19 · 28/02/2023 16:27

Hey All,

Due 4th November with our first baby. Super happy but also very anxious/nervous as keep reading up on all things that could go wrong but trying to keep positive.

I have filled in the online self referral for the hospital - when do you usually hear back about the first appointment?

Thank you!

SnookyPook · 28/02/2023 16:30

Welcome @AKS19 ! Congrats! 😄

Seems to be a bit of a lottery depending on where you live but the booking appointment should be done by 10wks at the latest so if you've not heard by 7/8wls I'd ring to nudge them!

Some places seem to give you dates the minute you get in touch. My area is all done through and online system and I have to keep updating it to check if anything has been added yet 🤷🏼‍♀️

AKS19 · 28/02/2023 16:37

Thanks so much!

LittleMissSunshine2020 · 28/02/2023 16:39

@TinyPuds I've requested to join the Facebook group now (I was still in disbelief on Sunday when I said I'd join haha).

Does anyone have any symptoms? I have none apart from tiredness. I had none with my first child either but I can't help but worry again!

anna2101 · 28/02/2023 19:44

New symptom kicked in today/yesterday - acne 😭 I had acne for most of my life and it's only been just over a year since I managed to clean it up (by quite expensive means I must add) and have a tiny bit of time to enjoy it and now it's back 😭

anna2101 · 28/02/2023 19:57

Also how is everyone with exercising ? I usually do quite regularly but I've been a bit paranoid to in such early stages. I know that the official advice is to continue (and I will eventually ) - I just don't know if I should wait till like week 7 or something first. Thoughts ?
