Hi all! 😊

I got my bfp yesterday and although it's super early days (I'm only 12dpo), from looking at the NHS pregnancy calculator, I'd be due 2nd November...
Just thought I'd make this thread for anyone who has recently got their bfps and are due in November-time!

I thought we could use it to discuss how we are feeling, any symptoms/lack of symptoms we have etc. and just a safe place for a chat with people in the same boat!

Congratulations to everyone who have got their bfps and sending lots of sticky baby dust to all! 🤞✨💕

Welcome @Snoopdog83 and congratulations 🎊

Sorry to hear of your loss, wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy ❤️

Gingerbreadmama · 15/03/2023 22:31

No sickness, only if Im hungry or tired. My boobs hurt 24/7 though, and all my tests have been a strong line before its even managed to show the normal line! It's just so strange 😂

Gingerbreadmama · 15/03/2023 22:34

Myperfectchaos · 15/03/2023 10:47

@Gingerbreadmama im the same the wait is sooo long!!! I have symptoms about 40 pregnancy tests and I’m still nervous! I won’t be seen until 30th march. 2 weeks tomorrow. It’s going to be a long wait. Considering going for an early scan

I actually feel really good, no sickness really, just the boobs, probably makes me feel more nervous actually, and any little cramp and I'm paranoid. I've been looking at scans too, trying to decide what to do.

jennybb · 16/03/2023 06:28

Hi first time poster! I found out I was pregnant 2 days ago, due 21st November. I was previously pregnant the same time last year but that turned out to be ectopic so now I'm just so scared. But trying to not tarnish the experience and try and enjoy it. Fingers crossed for us all🤞🏻

hmmmom · 16/03/2023 07:00

I did with my last pregnancy until over 24 weeks then sporadically until the end :) but I always said I’d stop sooner if I got stressed by it!

vix_85 · 16/03/2023 07:31

Hello, I'd love to join this thread. I got my BFP yesterday with a likely late November due date.

We're very nervous as this is our 5th BFP in 2 years but we lost the other 4. Heading today for my self-pay progesterone supplementation so hoping that is the magic this time xx

ExcitedandNervousC1 · 16/03/2023 07:54

@flightless55 wishing you the very best of luck for today's scan!! Let us know how you get on!

medicmumma · 16/03/2023 09:49

Hi everyone :)

I'm expecting my first baby in November - I'm around 5 weeks pregnant. Had some mild pelvic cramping for the last week only which has resolved now and feeling very hungry but apart from that have no symptoms! Just wondering if this is normal or have I just got very lucky?

Fox01 · 16/03/2023 09:57

Hi,

I am 4+4 today and got my bfp (faint!) 6 days ago. I would be due Nov 20 but worried. First time I've seen a positive in 3 years and it's ivf. Tests dont seem much darker and I've only had slight cramps and maybe breathlessness recently. I also get a metallic taste in my mouth every morning and sometimes throughout the day. I am very nervous that this will be a chemical and OTD isn't until Sunday but we shall see.

I also get intense cramps/sharp knife like pain with I need to poo or fart - anyone else had this?

@medicmumma im glad I'm not the only one with very little symptoms!

@vix_85 definitely lie flat for about an hour with the progesterone if it is the pessaries. I am on them and they really make a mess of your underwear if you don't. I haven't had much symptoms in them. I thought I would have sore boobs but nope 🤷🏼‍♀️

vix_85 · 16/03/2023 10:16

Thank you @Fox01. Do you use it morning or evening? I've actually been told anal insertion is better to prevent the mess!

Blondie1024 · 16/03/2023 10:29

@medicmumma & @Fox01 I'm so glad that other people have little to no symptoms. I was starting to worry that I was the only one.

NatGee · 16/03/2023 11:03

I am 5+5 today and have very few symptoms too. I had some back pain last week but that's gone now. I personally think theyll ramp up from week 6 so I am trying to do as much work (job and around the house) now rather than leaving it for later

SnookyPook · 16/03/2023 11:06

Hi everyone and welcome to the newcomers!

@vix_85 my sister had 4 miscarriages and then two healthy pregnancies when she was put on progesterone asap after positive test. Fingers crossed it does the trick for you too!

@MooseWL haha all these fitness fanatics are making me feel bad too! Although I did keep walking the dog throughout my last pregnancy (remember doing a slow waddle round our estate on my due date!) and I think it did help to have something active to do! I also did some pregnancy yoga with 'Yoga with Adrienne' on YouTube 👍🏻 No way I'll be running a half marathon (or even a 5k) though 😆

SnookyPook · 16/03/2023 11:09

@MinnieLou so sorry my lovely. If it is indeed bad news tomorrow then take all the time you need to grieve etc and take some care of yourself. Wishing you all the best for a healthy pregnancy asap when you're ready to try again. Big hugs xxx

Bubblemachiene · 16/03/2023 11:15

Is anyone starting on progesterone
I just picked mime up
Pessary not tablet

Sb86 · 16/03/2023 11:19

I'll hopefully be starting it next week @Bubblemachiene but they won't prescribe it until they can see a viable pregnancy on the scan which is a week today. Just praying we make it to then 🙏🏼 I'll be exactly 6 weeks according to LMP.

hopeandpray1988 · 16/03/2023 11:23

Hi can I join...
I'm hoping I'm not getting too ahead of myself but I think I've got a positive. Very anxious and not sure what to think.

I had pink cm on Monday and assumed af was coming as usual. But I got these results yesterday and today. With my DS a few years ago, my lines progressed really quickly each day but these don't seem much different do they?

Trying not to get my hopes up but keeping everything crossed. Due date would be the 24th November xx

Good luck @Sb86

Sb86 · 16/03/2023 11:30

Thanks @Bubblemachiene how many weeks are you now?

Mldn · 16/03/2023 11:44

@SnookyPook haha - the only reason I ran the half as I was already signed up for it, it was overseas & I only found out I was pregnant the day before I flew out! Mileage defo fell off a cliff since then.

bakugo · 16/03/2023 11:58

@hopeandpray1988 can see a faint line for sure! levels double every two days so you should start to see some progression in the next couple of days!

Welcome to everyone else on the thread. I also have few symptoms. It is still early days though. Although my LMP was on 7th Feb, I ovluate later and have a 10 day luteal phase so I reckon I'd be about 4-5 weeks and not the 5-6 weeks. As long as everything goes OK, we are planning to have an early scan on April 7th.

I hope everyone is doing OK today!

SnookyPook · 16/03/2023 12:01

@Mldn I'll let you off then 😜 Did you get to go somewhere nice for it? It must be quite frustrating when you are into running so much to be held back a bit, but hopefully for a very lovely reason at least!!

Bubblemachiene · 16/03/2023 12:02

I'm 5+2 now @Sb86

SnookyPook · 16/03/2023 12:04

@hopeandpray1988 congrats lovely! As pp said, it takes 48hrs for HCG to double so you wouldn't necessarily expect the line to look too different just in 1 day. Hope it all keeps progressing nicely for you!

Fox01 · 16/03/2023 12:09

@vix_85 its vaginal we have to use them. You can use rectally but they say not to. Don't think it makes a difference. I have got some suppositories from the gp to see if it eases my pain when pooing so it'll be one up the front and back now! 🤣
