Hi all! 😊

I got my bfp yesterday and although it's super early days (I'm only 12dpo), from looking at the NHS pregnancy calculator, I'd be due 2nd November...
Just thought I'd make this thread for anyone who has recently got their bfps and are due in November-time!

I thought we could use it to discuss how we are feeling, any symptoms/lack of symptoms we have etc. and just a safe place for a chat with people in the same boat!

@38andtrying I'm ni too here they do ur booking appointment and first scan all at the same 12 week appointment I have an early pregnancy scan at rich next week I'll b 7 weeks but they only offer this if u have had 3 or more mc before

need some help ladies. 2 days ago I woke up and tmi really needed the loo, had tummy pains and was very loose. Felt sick the rest of the day but then from yesterday I have no symptoms of pregnancy anymore. I’m worried I may have lost baby or having a mmc (I did before my rainbow baby in 2021). I’m not sure what to do. Do I just wait and see or…??

@Runnergirl1 Symptoms come and go and it might not mean anything bad, the only way of knowing will be to go for a scan and/ or blood tests but I don’t know if they would do it in EPU if you aren’t bleeding. I’m sure it’s all fine but I know how worried you’ll be. The first trimester is so stressful 😔

@Travellingislife thank you for commenting. That’s the problem isn’t it. I’m not bleeding so nothing they can do is there other than wait and see 😢

@EBeans congratulations! I’m 6+1! In my last pregnancy I felt much better around week 10 so I’m hoping it’ll be the same now.
@Skyla01 I’m still doing the same training so far, mostly CrossFit and some running/ swimming, I’m not going at high intensity though ( I wouldn’t be able to even if I wanted to!).
@Mldn Well done! Hopefully you’ll feel better in a few weeks when the body has got used to the changes. I did in my previous pregnancy and I did a half marathon when I was 16 weeks and a CrossFit comp the week before, I did take it very easy though!

Anybody scared of taking a bath… lol I’m literally scared of everything! So cold in London right now & I just wanna lay in a nice long bath. But scared! Any tips? Do I just shower instead 😂

@MinnieLou I'm so sorry.

@Runnergirl1 symptoms can come and go! Diarrhea is common in pregnancy too - your stomach pains might just have been from needing the loo?

@mldn baths are fine just keep it body temperature I think so not too hot!

You ladies are making me feel like a sloth with all the talk of exercise and gym and marathons 🤣

@MooseWL Oh I’m just too scared .. I need to stay off google! Maybe I’ll buy a thermometer for the bath so I can enjoy them going forward, anxiety free! Haha don’t be fooled, I ran 5k today - about 15 mins slower than usual & I have been napping on the sofa since. The tiredness is insane x

@Mldn yeh baths are fine just not too hot! I've asked about this before.

I'm currently only 4+5 and time is moving so slowly! I'm planning on getting a scan around 7 weeks if I make it to then based on my previous MMC which was discovered at 8 weeks. Anyone else feeling the days are crawling???

@Noneyerbuisness11234 thanks for answering that, at least I know now. I've booked myself I'm for a private early scan next Saturday when I will be 7 weeks. Hope your scan goes well x

I'm still managing to go swimming 4 times a week but I've not really got any bad symptoms. Though I didnt have any when I was pregnant with my oldest.

Yep! The days are crawling for me too. I'm 4+3 and I have a private scan booked for 7 weeks purely for something to keep me occupied 🤣🤣

@Mldn I've got one for the toddler but I kinda feel like if a bath isn't scorching what's the point!
That's 5k more than I ran today 🤣
@ExcitedandNervousC1 I've got an early scan booked on 1st April when I'll be 9+1 and it feels like forever away!

I've got a scan tomorrow afternoon and I'm so nervous
Feel like they're going to say it's all in my head and shout at me for wasting their time
I have pictures of the many positive tests at the ready to show them haha

@MooseWL haha yeh I agree! I usually have it scorching hot & get out as soon as it starts to cool down! So maybe I’ll pass for now. Still lay on the sofa since I originally posted about it.. so maybe time to shower now 😅

@Mldn Ive having baths still just not too hot. First pregnancy I didn't have any baths first trimester because I was worried. I'm a lot more laid back now

Hi everyone - just popping by to say hi. Been reading the thread since the weekend when I found out I’m pregnant with an absolute surprise. I have five already, and my youngest was a twin pregnancy born at 26 weeks and we lost her twin sister. I’m 40 very soon and struggling to get my head around what might happen. Can’t work out if I’m really stupid or this may well end up being the best surprise ever. I am scared beyond belief. We’ll see I guess, so yeah - hi everyone!
