Hi all! 😊

I got my bfp yesterday and although it's super early days (I'm only 12dpo), from looking at the NHS pregnancy calculator, I'd be due 2nd November...
Just thought I'd make this thread for anyone who has recently got their bfps and are due in November-time!

I thought we could use it to discuss how we are feeling, any symptoms/lack of symptoms we have etc. and just a safe place for a chat with people in the same boat!

Congratulations to everyone who have got their bfps and sending lots of sticky baby dust to all! 🤞✨💕

Got 3+ on clearblue digital this afternoon and I'm only 4+1 weeks, it goes off conception doesn't it so abit confused. Took a normal clearblue as well just because it was there 😅🙈

@Sb86 yeah its meant to be from conception which makes sense to me. i got mine yesterday even though technically I won't be 3 weeks until the weekend.... Someone told me teyre not the most accurate, but they sure help with putting one's mind at ease

Sb86 · 10/03/2023 14:25

@NatGee I suppose they are better saying further along than less but that being said everyone's levels are different anyway so can't really compare. It is a nice feeling seeing the word "pregnant" although the lines are just as exciting 🥰

anna2101 · 10/03/2023 18:26

@Lurknessmomstar so I don't know if
It's a coincidence but I decided to get myself those sickness acupressure hand bands and I've been feeling better

Chip131 · 10/03/2023 19:43

Hi all, got my positive this evening, super early though at 10dpo. Does not feel real at all!! Xxx

Sb86 · 10/03/2023 19:46

Congratulations @Chip131 🎊 and welcome to the thread. It's great finding out early but then it seems to take ages 😅 I found out at 8dpo and I'm now 17dpo 4+1week but feel like I should be further along haha.

How are you feeling?

Lurknessmomstar · 10/03/2023 19:49

Thank you @anna2101

Thank you! I feel pretty crampy 2 be honest...I really thought my af was coming! I had a bit of brown discharge earlier... Is that normal? Xxx

Thank you! I did not expect it at all xxx

Sb86 · 10/03/2023 19:55

I had cramping like af was about to arrive and I've had brown spotting, it's probably implantation bleeding but obviously if it changes to red it's not normal xx

FYI for anybody in London, I know there was a few the other day - I self referred last Tuesday & received a postal letter today with my booking in appt on the 4 April. Which is just before 10 weeks. It says my scan will be booked in then x

Bubblemachiene · 10/03/2023 20:43

Welcome @Chip131

Mrsrobinsonx · 11/03/2023 07:41

Hi! Hope it’s ok to join.
I got my bfp yesterday on a cheapie, it came up straight away. But after 2 chemical pregnancies I’m very cautiously accepting it!

I took this today (13dpo) but have never taken one of these tests so unsure if it’s a good line for this stage? I’ve only used frer but didn’t have any.
Hopefully if all goes well I’ll be due around my daughters birthday (19th nov)
Hope everyone is doing well, congrats on your pregnancies!

NatGee · 11/03/2023 07:43

@Mrsrobinsonx welcome and congratulations again ! Nice to see you here. Ive never used those clearblue ones but looks like a lovely line to me xx

Sb86 · 11/03/2023 07:50

Congratulations @Mrsrobinsonx 🎊 that's a great line 😊

ExcitedandNervousC1 · 11/03/2023 08:14

@Mrsrobinsonx I used the same Cb test and that's a great line! They're very odd tests I found in terms of the colouring and the lines but huge congratulations!

WiltsMum35 · 11/03/2023 08:25

Hi all! Congrats on your BFP’s! 🎉
This will be my third baby (my youngest is 4 and a half) but we were trying for over 2 years this time so both surprised (and elated!) when we found out. I’m currently 5wks 3 days - due 9th Nov.
But I’m stressing out SO much this time round for some reason 😓 my main symptom is sore boobs, and nausea on and off.
Is anyone finding that their boob soreness seems to kind of come and go? Or is worse some days than others? In the early hours of this morning I’d convinced myself it was completely gone and had a big panic 😭 but it seems to be there again this morning…!
This stage seems to drag SO much, and finding it reassuring reading your posts xxxx

sweetdreams23 · 11/03/2023 08:34

This weeks been tough, had a bit of spotting (only after I go for a bm sorry TMI) so just so hard to relax! It hasn't actually progressed to anything and I have nothing else during the day! I spoke to my dr and they have prescribed me progesterone but can't take it until a scan so got a scan on Monday morning to check everything's ok then I can start taking the progesterone. FYI , the guidelines have now changed and if you have had 1 miscarriage and are experiencing a bit of spotting you can be prescribed it! Also, I just phoned up EPU despite the website saying you need a referral and they gave me an appointment- always worth a try!

Bubblemachiene · 11/03/2023 08:40

Glad your starting that soon @sweetdreams23
I'm getting mine Thursday. Good luck with your scan, how far will u be on scan?

sweetdreams23 · 11/03/2023 08:42

@Bubblemachiene thank you! only 5 so 4 days so they did say it's a bit early to see much but it's more to determine that the pregnancy is in the uterus then I can start the medication, I think il have to return to see heartbeat a bit later then I can continue medication until 16 weeks.

Sb86 · 11/03/2023 08:48

Congratulations @WiltsMum35 🎊 yeah my boobs are doing that exact same thing, it makes you worry doesn't it but I think it's just the hormones getting their s**t together.

@sweetdreams23 I'm having my scan at 6 weeks in epu due to miscarriage back in October and the fact I've started spotting again. They said they would be able to prescribe me progesterone after that so fingers crossed for getting that far, I think I'll feel a whole lot better once I'm on that. How far gone are you? I'm 4+2weeks x
