Hi all! 😊

I got my bfp yesterday and although it's super early days (I'm only 12dpo), from looking at the NHS pregnancy calculator, I'd be due 2nd November...
Just thought I'd make this thread for anyone who has recently got their bfps and are due in November-time!

I thought we could use it to discuss how we are feeling, any symptoms/lack of symptoms we have etc. and just a safe place for a chat with people in the same boat!

Congratulations to everyone who have got their bfps and sending lots of sticky baby dust to all! 🤞✨💕

5+4 today and I also feel the nausea ramping up and feeling breathless at times

Mldn · 08/03/2023 11:27

@Maxime34 I am also 5+3 today. And I got my 3+ this morning. I tested yesterday & it was only 2-3 & it just made me worry, for no reason as I had only got my first 2-3 last Thursday. But now I have saw the 3+, I refuse to do another test as it just adds anxiety doesn’t it. I hope you get your 3+ in the next few days! What date are you due?

madeofcodes · 08/03/2023 11:34

Hi ladies!

I got my BFP on Sunday and got my 2-3 clearblue yesterday so I'm glad to see things are progressing 🙏 have you all decided when to tell parents/close family? We thought about Mother's Day but I'll only be 5 weeks then and not sure if that's too early.

SnookyPook · 08/03/2023 11:42

@Maxime34 I talked myself out of buying a 'weeks progression' test the other day! Not done one since my first one which was 1-2wks... Part of me would like the reassurance it's progressing and part of me is sick of being so in my head about it all!

SnookyPook · 08/03/2023 11:47

Congrats @madeofcodes ! And welcome!

With my first we told no-one until after the 12wk scan. This time, polar opposite and told close loved ones straight away! It's been nice sharing the excitement this time and helpful having our mothers on board in case my toddler is ever getting too much with the pregnancy fatigue etc. I decided that this time, even if the worst were to happen, it would be nice to have shared some of the joy, and then to be able to get support etc.

That said, it was fun in a way having it secret with DS. And it was lovely being able to tell people and they all knew we were already safely though the first trimester.

Just do what feels right to you I guess ☺️

Maxime34 · 08/03/2023 11:58

@SnookyPook I definitely think that's a wise choice! I only have one left so going to do it at the weekend and what will be will be!

Maxime34 · 08/03/2023 12:00

@Mldn ah that's good you got yours, it's definitely making me nervous but I know how unreliable they are so trying not to worry too much. At the end of the day what will be will be! I would just like that added reassurance yanno! I think my due date would be the 6th Nov based on my dates, what about you?

Mldn · 08/03/2023 12:07

@Maxime34 yeh I agree with you, hopefully you’ll get it in the next few days. There’s some money to be made in the ttc/early pregnancy market that’s for sure 😅 I get so confused by the dating, but my due date according to NHS website would be 3rd November. How are you feeling? I’ve had a lot of dizziness & sore boobs the whole time but the last day or so nausea has appeared x

ukMummyof1 · 08/03/2023 12:37

anna2101 · 08/03/2023 09:24

@ukMummyof1 that's the thing I'm only 5+5 today. So I'm assuming the worst is yet to come... I don't understand how people do it

I'm 5+6 but I remember with my first pregnancy I felt sick really early on and it hit a peak at about 9 weeks and all pretty much calmed down by 13 weeks. My heart goes out to those who have hyperemisis throughout their pregnancy😩

Phoenix40 · 08/03/2023 12:58

Ladies. I wish you all healthy and beautiful pregnancies with healthy babies 🤍🤍🤍

it’s my good bye.
the hcg levels grow now 10%, so it’s either ectopic (which we need to rule out) or simply dead. And if they can’t find the sack in uterus or fellopian tube, I was told to run ovaraian cancer marker tests.

Maxime34 · 08/03/2023 13:22

@Mldn feeling ok at the moment just a little bloated, some on off mild nausea and back pain but nothing too bad yet. I did have quite a bit of cramping but that seems to have gone away now. Mostly just tired! With my DD the symptoms really ramped up after 6 weeks so not counting myself out yet. My boobs feel normal which is the only real difference so far but again that could also change too! How about you?

Mldn · 08/03/2023 13:24

@Maxime34 not much going on really. Sore boobs from the beginning & bouts of dizziness daily. Gone off tea as of today & HR higher than usual. But otherwise feeling general okay! Just very sleepy.

Maxime34 · 08/03/2023 13:26

EBeans · 08/03/2023 15:42

Hi all 👋very excited to join this thread! I’m 5+4 today with a due date of Nov 4th which will be the day of my 30th birthday - talk about timing but what an amazing gift!
This is my first so my anxiety is going wild! 3+ on a CB this week which calmed me a bit, excited to get my booking appt in. I could sleep from here until the 12 week scan at this point, never been so exhausted!

flightless55 · 08/03/2023 15:46

Safe to say the exhaustion has kicked in now - just woke from an accidental nap

Travellingislife · 08/03/2023 16:59

@MooseWL
Same here! My son was born in Aug 2020 and I felt like I missed out on so much, hopefully we can enjoy a “ normal pregnancy” this time around. I remember that a lot of people in my gym, who I would see daily pre covid, had no idea I’d been pregnant and was shocked to hear I had a baby when I came back to the gym, it was very strange!

Lurknessmomstar · 08/03/2023 17:53

@Phoenix40 sorry to hear that 💐 I wish you the best going forward

Popsicales · 08/03/2023 20:48

Hi. Tentatively joining this thread, as I’ve just had a positive at 12dpo. This will be my third baby, all being well! Can’t stop testing 🙈

Sb86 · 08/03/2023 20:56

@ukMummyof1 just catching up and this made me laugh 😆

@Mldn everything sounds like its's going exactly how it should so that's great news. I'm only 4 week tomorrow but I found out a week ago so I feel like I should be further along haha, I've had a bit of brown spotting since Saturday most times I go to the loo but mostly when I wipe. I've no real major symptoms as such, my boobs feel alright with slightly tender nipples, I've been having af type cramps and needing a wee often but no nausea.

Congratulations @babybrain23

Sb86 · 08/03/2023 21:01

Congratulations @madeofcodes @EBeans and @Popsicales 🎊
