Hi all! 😊

I got my bfp yesterday and although it's super early days (I'm only 12dpo), from looking at the NHS pregnancy calculator, I'd be due 2nd November...
Just thought I'd make this thread for anyone who has recently got their bfps and are due in November-time!

I thought we could use it to discuss how we are feeling, any symptoms/lack of symptoms we have etc. and just a safe place for a chat with people in the same boat!

Congratulations to everyone who have got their bfps and sending lots of sticky baby dust to all! 🤞✨💕

@anna2101 Oh fab! Those dates are really soon. How far gone are you Who did you call? Nobody is answering the phone to me x

Bubblemachiene · 07/03/2023 17:13

Would they not do that on nhs? Not got a spare £150 😥

Bubblemachiene · 07/03/2023 17:20

Also being older at almost 37 I think my levels may be low now @Sb86 @Phoenix40

Sb86 · 07/03/2023 17:51

@Bubblemachiene just mention it to them and see what they say. You've got to have it prescribed by a doctor, you can't get it online anywhere...I've even tried looking for a cream that someone recommended but can't find anywhere. I'm 37 on Sunday and know that my progesterone levels are low just from things that have been happening. I'm waiting for a call back from epu still but if no luck I'll be ringing my GP in the morning.

Bubblemachiene · 07/03/2023 17:58

Ah thanks @Sb86 and I hope you get it
I will ring up epu can only ask lol.

anna2101 · 07/03/2023 18:03

@Tmlldn yeah I surprised it's all timely so I have my 12 week scan exactly at 12 weeks. Today I'm 5+4. I'm going with uclh and on their maternity referral webpage there is a number to call if you don't hear back after sending in the form.

Tmlldn · 07/03/2023 18:06

oh that’s brilliant! I called Homerton & she just said I have to wait the ten days. They weren’t very helpful or friendly 😂 but I guess they get many calls about the same thing! I think I’m 5+2 so hoping my dates will be similar to yours. Congrats & good luck x

Mummy1502 · 07/03/2023 21:07

@UnwieldyRhombus im sorry, I’ve just been through the exact same thing last cycle it’s heartbreaking, currently in the tww again! However I’m not hopeful, it completely knocks you once you’ve had a loss (in my case 3 in a row) sending lots of baby dust to all, I’m lucky I do have 4 beautiful, healthy children however it never stops the hurt of a loss x

Mldn · 07/03/2023 21:30

Has anybody noticed a higher than usual heart rate? My resting heart rate is usually 54-60 bpm. Tonight I feel dizzy & nauseous & just checked my HR & it is 78/82 bpm.. it’s likely normal, but omg fretting over every damn bloody thing right now 😩

UnwieldyRhombus · 07/03/2023 21:32

@Mummy1502 Thank you and sorry to hear you've been through it too. It's all so hard, isn't it? Even when things progress as they should it's hard. I did feel better getting to hug my beautiful healthy 3 year old who I'm very lucky to have, but yes, it still stings. Hopefully she can get her sibling one day. Sorry for your losses and I hope it works out for you xx

Thank you everyone else for the kind messages too ❤️

Sb86 · 07/03/2023 21:37

The moment we see those 2 lines on a test we fall in love, we start dreaming and wondering. For that to be cruelly taken away is heartbreaking no matter if we have children already or not, a loss is a loss and it hurts because we love. I'm sending you so much love tonight and going forward @UnwieldyRhombus I know it might feel like it right now but you are not alone. My inbox is always open ❤️

UnwieldyRhombus · 07/03/2023 22:11

@Sb86 Thank you ❤️ yes, I was definitely getting carried away, making plans and daydreaming about the future. I was so anxious with my first pregnancy but this time I was confident it was all going to go to plan! It's just been a very sudden end to all of that. These things happen though, and so many women go through it (sadly). Better early-ish than later on too. We will try again when I'm able to and will hope for the best. I don't think I was wrong to be optimistic and excited xx

@UnwieldyRhombus thankyou and hoping you get a little sticky bean x

Bubblemachiene · 08/03/2023 06:57

Hi all, I got a lovely strong test this morning fmu after waiting a couple of days to test. I was worried about line progression but not anymore.

Sb86 · 08/03/2023 08:27

@Mldn I think it's completely normal for heart rate to increase during pregnancy, how are you feeling this morning?

@Bubblemachiene that's great news x

ukMummyof1 · 08/03/2023 08:31

Woke up at 1am feeling soo sick and just couldn't sleep, I've also just realised it's 8.30 and I'm sat eating a family size bag of wotsits😂I think my symptoms have officially started😵‍💫

Mldn · 08/03/2023 08:32

@sb86 - thank you. I think I need to relax but the symptoms can be wild! I’m okay thanks. HR showing 77 bpm this morning, but I’ll just take that as the new norm! I got my 3+ on clear blue this morning too, so I am finally gonna stop testing! Who knew POAS would be addictive. Nausea defo ramped up yesterday & today, I don’t even want a brew this morning & that is huge for me! How far are you? Hope all is going well x

anna2101 · 08/03/2023 08:46

My nausea kicked in on Saturday and has been quite bad since. No throwing up thankfully but I basically feel much better horizontally then sitting up or standing up. So I've been working from home since Monday. If it gets any worse I'm not really sure what I will end up doing about work especially since I do need to go in at least a couple of times a week.

ukMummyof1 · 08/03/2023 08:53

@anna2101 how many weeks are you?
My son is 1 at the end of the month and I haven't gone back to work since having him but I remember working when I was pregnant with him, the absolute WORST😩

anna2101 · 08/03/2023 09:24

@ukMummyof1 that's the thing I'm only 5+5 today. So I'm assuming the worst is yet to come... I don't understand how people do it

Glitterb · 08/03/2023 10:26

@Mldn same thing happened with me, for the first few weeks my heart was racing and I was short of breath. It seems to have calmed down though now, I’m about 6/7 weeks x

babybrain23 · 08/03/2023 10:31

First ever pregnancy here. Due November 13th, that's even strange to type! 4 weeks and 2 days technically!

Don't know what to do with myself! Mild cramp on lower left hand side. Husband not too excited yet as it's so early he half doesn't believe its real because its so early on!!

Bubblemachiene · 08/03/2023 10:53

Thank you @Sb86

Maxime34 · 08/03/2023 11:07

Hope you're all doing really well. I just got my early scan date confirmed for two weeks time. Going to be a long two weeks! I'm 5+3 I believe but getting myself worked up because my clear blue digital still says 2-3 weeks... I know I should just put the tests down as all the lines are really good and probably can't get any darker realistically but I really want to see that 3+ to put my mind to rest. I think they're invented to torture women truth be told!
