Hi all! 😊

I got my bfp yesterday and although it's super early days (I'm only 12dpo), from looking at the NHS pregnancy calculator, I'd be due 2nd November...
Just thought I'd make this thread for anyone who has recently got their bfps and are due in November-time!

I thought we could use it to discuss how we are feeling, any symptoms/lack of symptoms we have etc. and just a safe place for a chat with people in the same boat!

@Sb86 oh bless you. I know the feeling. I found out 2 weeks ago tomorrow, so I’d have been 3+4! And I then flew on holiday the day after. That time went quick, but since we’ve been home omg the time drags! And every single niggle of difference I notice is googled 100000x ! Such a nervy time. I’ve not really had any cramps or spotting, but my boobs are so sore & I'm dizzy a lot! I’ve also got a face full of spots which is a new thing for me.. maybe that’s all the choc I’ve been scoffing 😅 hope you’re feeling okay & congrats.

@Mldn I think I could manage the 2 week wait til my early scan if I was on holiday haha 😄 wouldn't mind being in a warm country now especially with the snow on it's way! Absolutely googling everything even when I've read it before best believe I'm still searching...mad aren't we! It could possibly be down to the chocolate, I've been trying to cut down my chocolate intake due to the caffeine in it but white chocolate (technically not chocolate) has none and dark chocolate is actually good for you so I've bought some to have a tiny bar per day. It's no chocolate orange but if it's good for pregnancy then it's going in 🤣🐷
Yeah I'm OK on the whole thanks, just anxious and don't really feel pregnant 🙃

Omg isnt time just dragging! 4+4 here and November seems like such a long time.... @Mldn do you get a headache at all? I seem to have a continuous one the past few days.

Haha I was only away for a few days sadly! Would book a long hot holiday to pass the next few weeks though. I’m yet to book in an early scan, I plan to wait as long as I can resist. Just to hopefully see more & be further along. I think I’ll try & get to 8 weeks! When do you plan to go for one?

Congrats @NatGee ! Time defo drags. The worry is awful isn’t it! I’ve had like a dull headache continuously really for the last week or so. Nothing too severe though, I just put it down to be super tired. Have you had any other symptoms? x

@Mldn I have one booked for 2 weeks tomorrow because of the mc back in October they said they'd offer me an early scan anyway but I rang up yesterday with regards to my spotting. So they booked me in for 23rd of March, fingers crossed all is well and how it should be 🤞🏼

@Sb86 oh bless you, sorry if you had already said that! I haven’t read too far back in the group. This is my first pregnancy & happened in 2 cycle so I’m very shocked & all very new to me. Sorry to hear you miscarried. Are you generally feeling any better this time around or to early to tell? Everything crossed for you x

It's OK @Mldn there's so much being said by different people it's easy to get mixed up and I probably have repeated myself many times on the same threads! We will blame it on baby brain 😉😅

It's too early to tell really, I've found out a lot earlier this time so I'm comparing symptoms and it's so different at this moment in time. I had swollen boobs and mega tender nipples to start with but I can't remember when the nausea kicked in probably around 6 weeks give or take a few days. Here's hoping it's completely different in that i get to bring a healthy baby home in November 🥰 thankyou for your kind words xx

1st pregnancy how exciting ❤️ I was 18 with my first and 19 when I had her, she's 18 in July and her siblings 15 and almost 14 so it will be a shock to the system having a newborn but I am more than ready for the fun and games.

I've rang epu going for blood test tomorrow and they said they will scan me once I get to 2000 with hcg levels, also see will ask the consultant about prescribing meds I think it must be progesterone to help prevent another mc.
I am going away on Sunday so I'm assuming that will be after next week all being well.

I’m due 18th November! My other two children have been 15 and 12 days early so perhaps this one might be an early November.

Hi, I hope you don't mind me joining! I found out I was pregnant last week and will be my second baby! (I have a 11month old)
Looks like I will be due around the 12th, although I will likely have another section! Got my 2-3 week on clear blue today 🙌

Hi guys how is everyone feeling?? My anxiety is through the roof. Although I took a train journey with my daughter to go see lizzo last night and felt sick the entire time….weird actually wanting to feel unwell haha I’m sure I won’t be saying that soon.

when did you guys get your 2-3 or 3+ on clear blue digital? I had 1-2 last week so I’m a bit nervous to take another one Incase I don’t see progress?

i am 4+6 today. Due 13th November. My previous 3 have all been sections and early so expect an October baby if I’m being honest!

@Myperfectchaos youll probably love the feeling of being unwell because of the reassurance it offers. I think I will :)
Decided to try those tests and I got a 3+ today - even though I won't be 3 weeks post conception until the weekend. I won't be doing any more otherwise my anxiety will take over
My cramping has now pretty much stopped, as well as insomnia and crazy dreams but my back hurts still and breasts are sore.

Ah do you get to choose if you have a c section? And how soon do you have to tell your midwife?

God I've woken up this morning with the worst sinus congestion, and scratchy throat, feel like I've been hit by a bus 😭

@NatGee my first was an emergency section with a particular cut that meant I was unable to choose naturals labour moving forward, so all my babies will be sections. I will do one tomorrow to see what it says,just hoping to see a bit of progression.

I got my 2-3 weeks 2 weeks after what I think was our conception day. I'm holding off testing anymore now until the 3+ week date hopefully.

@NatGee I phoned my GP and they sent me a text with a link to the NHS website for my first appointment (to take place before 10w) and my local NHS site stated I should wait until I'm at least 6 weeks before filling it in, and then a few days later a midwife will get in touch.

I do believe you can elect a c-section 😊

@Chellooo snap on the sinuses! I've had a scratchy throat and stuffy nose for about a week now

Has anyone experienced EPU at 5 weeks pregnant?
I've started bleeding and have bad cramps.
Rung them but had to fill out a referral online then should hear back on the phone today or tomorrow about what happens next.
My gut is telling me this is it.
Feel silly being so upset given I'm so early 😭
I'm in two minds as I've had a miscarriage before at 6-7weeks and I was seen that day.
Then I also had bleeding at the beginning of my pregnancy with my daughter too so I just don't know 😫

Hey @MinnieLou I'm sorry to read that you're bleeding and cramping. Hopefully you get seen ASAP and have your mind put to rest, the not knowing is awful. I've got everything crossed for a positive outcome 🙏🏼❤️

@MinnieLou it's not silly at all. As someone said earlier in the thread as soon as you see those 2 lines you imagine a baby and as much as we say we "try not to get excited so early" I think it's impossible. I hope you get some answers from EPU, take care the first trimester is so stressful!

@Myperfectchaos I'm anxious but my spotting seems to have calmed down which I'm obviously glad about, just hope it stays that way. Still not feeling much, cramps have settled down, boobs keep going bigger and tender nipples but a few hours later seem to go back to normal again with tenderness still but not my boobs. I'm looking forward to feeling sick just for the reassurance of it not because I'm a weirdo who likes feeling sick ha.

I had an emergency c-section 8 weeks and 5days early with my last child 14 years ago but I got told in October I should be able to have a natural birth which I'm happy about.

When are we meant to get a 3+ on a clear blue?
I'm scared to do one as when I had my mc it never went past 2-3 weeks.
I have been to bloods at epu today just waiting on them calling me back with results.
