Hi all! 😊

I got my bfp yesterday and although it's super early days (I'm only 12dpo), from looking at the NHS pregnancy calculator, I'd be due 2nd November...
Just thought I'd make this thread for anyone who has recently got their bfps and are due in November-time!

I thought we could use it to discuss how we are feeling, any symptoms/lack of symptoms we have etc. and just a safe place for a chat with people in the same boat!

Congratulations to everyone who have got their bfps and sending lots of sticky baby dust to all! 🤞✨💕

If the cramps are focused on one side it is advices to have it checked on a&e incase it’s a ectopic pregnancy.
my friends just had one recently and her pain was very specific and focused on the right (her case) side.

Mummy1502 · 06/03/2023 08:29

Okay ladies I’m back, positive ovulation test, wish me luck for this cycle after my chemical, need lots of baby dust, didn’t expect to ovulate so quickly after a chemical so I’m hoping it’s real ovulation x

Due November 2023 ✨
SnookyPook · 06/03/2023 08:40

@Mummy1502 ah best of luck! That certainly looks hopeful for ovulation. Everything crossed for you! Xx

Mummy1502 · 06/03/2023 08:43

@SnookyPook thankyou think it might be the darkest one I’ve ever had on these tests x

Good morning ladies, I'm finally joining after getting my BFP at 8dpo (I'm now 13dpo), I just didn't trust it. I'm still very anxious and I suppose I will be for a long time yet after a mc at 8 weeks back in October. I started spotting little bits of brown on Saturday, not much and only when I wipe but that's how I got diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma back in September which we believe to be the cause of the mc. Needless to say I'm petrified every time I go to the toilet but I know that won't help being stressed 😔

I'm 36 (37 on sunday) and this will be my fifth pregnancy, I have three children from a previous relationship. This will be mine and my partners second pregnancy and hopefully we will get to hold our first baby together in Novemeber 🙏🏼🌈❤️

SnookyPook · 06/03/2023 09:51

Welcome @Sb86 ! Sorry to hear about your previous loss. Fingers crossed this little one is able to stick around! There is so much inherent worry in this first trimester isn't there?! I'm 6wks today so halfway through trimester 1! But I don't feel I can fully enter into the excitement etc until the 12wk scan. I'm trying to enjoy day by day and take it for what it is.

I have a mid-year review at work tomorrow and am currently debating whether to use the chance to update my boss... She was very supportive about pregnancy 1 and all been great since I returned from Mat Leave. I'll have been back two years by the time I go off again and have been treated really well etc. We're just starting on a big project which had been postponed - it should have been finishing early November but will now be running on for several months after I go off. I'm PM for one of the subprojects in it so I think it might be nice to give her a heads up... What do people reckon?

NatGee · 06/03/2023 10:18

@SnookyPook I have my review coming up in a couple of weeks time and it crossed my mind to tell my boss. Like you, Ive always been very well treated and like working for her. I will be 7 weeks then and have quite a few projects underway but I think i decided against the idea of telling her, even though i'm bursting at the seams to tell everyone, because reality is the first trimester is indeed very fragile. If anything were to happen Id dread giving her the bad news but also how she'd perceive me knowing that my husband and I are actively trying. I fear for my career progression essentially, even though I probably shouldnt.
Also we decided to tell our family after the 12 week point so feel its not fair to have my colleagues know beforehand.
I will tell work however if I get chronic sickness, ill probably have no choice if that happens.
Hope this helps you?

Bubblemachiene · 06/03/2023 10:36

Joining in this thread, I was on the September board
Fingers crossed I get to stay here 🌈🤞

SnookyPook · 06/03/2023 10:36

@NatGee yeah thanks - good to hear another perspective. Last time I told her after the 12wk scan and it was nice being more certain it was progressing well etc. I suppose there is no need for the courtesy of telling her early as in reality it doesn't change much (she can't plan ahead for it yet etc)... Those 6 wks aren't really going to change anything from her or a business perspective other than, as you say, potentially viewing my role in the team a bit differently. I think I'll keep quiet until I know it's all further past the danger zone. Thanks! Helps to mull it over with someone!

SnookyPook · 06/03/2023 10:39

@Bubblemachiene hi! Aw sorry for your previous loss. How far along are you with your rainbow? X

Myperfectchaos · 06/03/2023 10:46

Hello guys! Can I join this thread. I am currently 4 weeks. Due 13th nov. Found out really early. Got my bfp at 8dpo.

this is baby 4 (other are 16,11, almost 3).

I’ve been really nauseous already so that’s kicking my butt a little!

you would thing doing this before I would be more relaxed but I’m stressing over everything!

NatGee · 06/03/2023 10:54

@SnookyPook you are very welcome

@Myperfectchaos nice to see you here :) glad i'm not the only one with symptoms already! ive been cramping, have backpain and insomnia. I feel silly saying this as I'm only 4+2 but trust me when I say I love sleeping. Will happily snooze 8+ hours a night if I can!

NatGee · 06/03/2023 10:55

@Bubblemachiene welcome and sorry to hear of your loss. I hope you stay here until November :)

Myperfectchaos · 06/03/2023 11:08

@NatGee I have already been having to force myself to stay awake after 9pm haha. I have had some cramping which is “normal” but scary at the same time!!

Bubblemachiene · 06/03/2023 11:58

@NatGee & @SnookyPook thanks so much, I'm only 3+6 😅 due date 15th Nov, all according to flo app
So nervous/ exited
Had mc in February so wasn't expecting this so soon.
Anyone else due on or around 15th

Sb86 · 06/03/2023 12:39

Hey @Bubblemachiene I'm 3+6 too due 16th of Nov according to Natural Cycles. Congratulations 🎊

38andtrying · 06/03/2023 13:50

I am 4W+1, i was thinking of leaving informong clinic for a while to see how this progresses and get out of chemical territory, anyone else doing the same or when will you contact midwife?

NatGee · 06/03/2023 13:52

@38andtrying I'm 4+2 and I contacted the midwife as soon I found out. I hear waiting lists can be extensive so didn't want to be left waiting. Turns out the trust in my area are swift and I already have my booking in appointment scheduled.

NatGee · 06/03/2023 13:52

@38andtrying I'm 38 too by the way

38andtrying · 06/03/2023 14:29

@NatGee thanks, im super nervous because i had a missed miscarriage back in December and keep thinking if i make it official something bad will happen, mad i know.

I am going to wait a day or two and then book in, nerve wrecking, i wish i could fast forward 2 months lol

Mamatobe2023 · 06/03/2023 14:50

Congratulations 🤍🙌🏼 I’m due 17 November after a miscarriage in December! 🙏

Mldn · 06/03/2023 15:04

I’m 5+1 today - first pregnancy, and other than insane tiredness, literally over 12 hours a night, I feel okay! I’m so paranoid every time I go for wee that I’m gonna see blood. I really feel for everybody who has miscarried. I can only imagine the anxiety you must feel. I know there are no guarantees, but I really hope it starts to feel real soon & the anxiety fades! I should perhaps stop googling everything.. long journey (hopefully!) ahead x

Bubblemachiene · 06/03/2023 15:41

Brill @Sb86 4 weeks tomorrow
Have you called docs yet I've not as only found out sat & work today will try tomorrow but want to do another test first to make sure lol

Sb86 · 06/03/2023 15:47

@Bubblemachiene I haven't called them because when I fell pregnant in September and rang them they said to do it all online now. It's called Mypregnancynotes, I'm in England so depending on where you are it might be the same but ring just in case. I found out at 8dpo so after a few days of positives I registered 😊

Congratulations, my first too!

You're not alone, I couldn't agree more with all that you said! The paranoia is real X
