Hi all! 😊

I got my bfp yesterday and although it's super early days (I'm only 12dpo), from looking at the NHS pregnancy calculator, I'd be due 2nd November...
Just thought I'd make this thread for anyone who has recently got their bfps and are due in November-time!

I thought we could use it to discuss how we are feeling, any symptoms/lack of symptoms we have etc. and just a safe place for a chat with people in the same boat!

Congratulations to everyone who have got their bfps and sending lots of sticky baby dust to all! 🤞✨💕

Congratulations, my first too!

You're not alone, I couldn't agree more with all that you said! The paranoia is real X

Thanks so much! Congrats to you too - how far gone are you? x

ExcitedandNervousC1 · 06/03/2023 16:23

Tentatively joining...10DPO today but got a positive! Trying for baby #1 and had a BFP in Sept '22 but unfortunately ended in MMC at 8 weeks so I'm very nervous but praying this sticks 🙏 wishing everyone here the best of luck!

Thank you, I'm 5+5 today, so we're both very similar!

I'm planning on booking in for an early scan in around a week and a half. Then we might look to start telling closest family.

Have you told anyone yet or considering any scans? X

Oh fab! Very close.

We haven’t told anybody yet, I think we will hold off as long as possible with that as I think it’ll stress me out having other people in the know so early on. How about you?

Yes, we are going to have an early scan. Are you? I was tempted to go at 6 weeks - this weekend, but I think we will hold off until 8 weeks to get a better feel for it.

I was so shocked the doctors just tell you to self refer & now we just have to wait for an appointment. It’s such an incredibly nerve wracking time! X

Hey Star
Hope it's ok for me to join this thread.
According to dates I'm due 9th Nov (all going well)
I'm really anxious at the moment as I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks in 2019 then fell with my rainbow baby two months after (now a very healthy 3 year old!) but I was anxious through my whole pregnancy with her, hoping it will be different this time, just need to get to the 12 week scan 🤞🏻 for reassurance! We've been trying for around 10 months. X

Bubblemachiene · 06/03/2023 21:42

These are my tests, top 2 from sat, bottom one just taken now.
I'm so worried there's no line progression arghhh

Hello everyone,
Congratulations on your pregnancies!
I’m 5 weeks pregnant and due the 7th of Nov, I had a loss in December, around 6-7 weeks, so as sad as it is I don’t really dare to be happy. I’m 41 as well so it’s higher risk of something going wrong.
I’m probably going to have a scan next week as the fertility specialist I’ve been seeing said a “ managed pregnancy” is more likely to be successful and he recommended a scan at 6 and 8 weeks. I will be worried if I don’t see a heartbeat because it’s too early but I think I’ll go with his advice.
Symptom wise I have some light cramping now and again and insomnia; I wake up in the middle of the night and can’t go back to sleep, not sure it’s psychosomatic though.. If I hadn’t taken a test and wouldn’t be hyper analysing everything I wouldn’t know I’m pregnant though. No sore boobs whatsoever and it seems like most people get sore boobs right away.

MeganC104 · 07/03/2023 07:05

Hello and congrats to all the new bfps! I'm 6 weeks today. Really struggling to concentrate. Nausea is coming and going. Last night I had 2 pregnancy dreams. 1 that I posted to social media about my pregnancy accidentally and let everyone know 🤣 and 2 that it was twins! Not sure how we'd manage if that were true

MooseWL · 07/03/2023 07:42

Congratulations to all the new joiners! @Travellingislife is it your first? Fingers crossed for you. The first trimester is so worrying isn't it.
I also don't have sore boobs and didn't with my son.
I had really bad nausea/sickness with him but that hasn't started yet for me (I'm 5+4) just insomnia crazy dreams and the mid afternoon exhaustion has started the last few days. I forgot how bad it was!

@Bubblemachiene how many dpo are you?

Mamatobe2023 · 07/03/2023 08:02

I am feeling so anxious after a miscarriage in December too. Do these tests look normal for 3 weeks 4 days pregnant? I have no symptoms yet! X

Due November 2023 ✨
Bubblemachiene · 07/03/2023 08:25

I'm not sure @MooseWL as I had a positive ovulation test then again a week later.
I think af is due tomorrow tho

Sb86 · 07/03/2023 08:26

Hey @Bubblemachiene did you take the tests all at the same time of day? Because if not you can't really compare. Try testing first thing in the morning on same brand test to get a better comparison x

Mummy1502 · 07/03/2023 08:27

This morning ovulation test, normally mine peak then come down quite quick, never still dark the next day, having bad ovulation pains x

sweetdreams23 · 07/03/2023 08:45

@Mamatobe2023 mine looked like that a week ago and now are super dark (I'm about a week ahead of you) so I think that's looking good for you! I've now made a decision not to do any more tests, to be honest with my daughter I think I only did one I didn't even know test progression was a thing but this time I've done loads!!

Bubblemachiene · 07/03/2023 08:46

No lol, all different @Sb86 il start doing that once my others come & only test every other day

MooseWL · 07/03/2023 08:46

@Bubblemachiene my cheapies were all really faint until the day of my missed period. Then I took a frer and clear blue at 15dpo which were both strong. I'd test again in 48h

Mamatobe2023 · 07/03/2023 08:50

@sweetdreams23 this has made me feel better thank you so much. I feel like the most recent one isn’t as dark. Trying to relax! I should probably stop testing until I’m 4 weeks anyway! What is your due date? X

sweetdreams23 · 07/03/2023 08:53

@Mamatobe2023 due date 10th November, I also had a miscarriage in December so it's just taken all the excitement out of it for me so far! Think im going to book a private scan at around 7/8 weeks

Bubblemachiene · 07/03/2023 08:54

I'm same @sweetdreams23 I had mc in February so I'm scared to be exited it's so hard not to get hopes up

Mamatobe2023 · 07/03/2023 08:58

@sweetdreams23 aw so literally a week ahead! Yes we’re going to do the same, I can’t even wait that long haha! X

No, nobody knows yet. Although I'm paranoid they are on to us as I've not been drinking at family social events. I plan on having an early scan and checking everything is OK and then share the news with close family - parents and siblings. X

Oh same here! I am usually first to the bar so I defo think people are on to me too! I found out the day before we flew away for my birthday to run a half marathon! I had to lie to everybody that I was enjoying celebratory beers in the sunshine & that my way slower than usual run time was due to the weather! I was just bloody exhausted. I was mid marathon training but have just withdrawn myself cos the exhaustion is real! Along with the paranoia that I am harming my body etc. fingers crossed the remaining weeks to 12 weeks fly by for us all! X

sweetdreams23 · 07/03/2023 09:54

@Mamatobe2023 @Bubblemachiene so sorry you had to go through that too, truly horrendous. Really hoping we get our November babies and it all goes smoothly🥰 do you have any other children? X

Bubblemachiene · 07/03/2023 10:15

@sweetdreams23 me2. Yes I do I have two dc.
10💙 & 7💗year old
How about you?

Travellingislife · 07/03/2023 10:17

@MooseWL
Thank you! I have a 2.5 year old ( was never going to have kids then changed my mind when friends and siblings started to have them!) and I don’t think I had sore boobs with him actually. I definitely had insomnia and I think light nausea started around 8-9 weeks. I do feel exhausted too but I think that’s more to do with my toddler 😅

@Mamatobe2023 thats how mine looked and now at 5 weeks it was super strong. I’m not going to test anymore as I get a bit anxious by doing it. I don’t have any symptoms either, I wish I had as I would feel more reassured but I know it doesn’t really mean anything.
