@sally16 its so annoying isn’t it, that it’s only considered okay if you have a huge belly. Let them talk… take what you’re entitled to to keep you healthy ❤️ Work will always wait. By the time you’re back they’ll be over it 🤣 xx

BusyBushBaby · 24/01/2023 12:29

@AnnieApple123 I've been moved to 31st July after my scan but I don't want to move to the July group as I like you lot and also I know my "real" due date is still 5th August as it was IVF so no chance my dates are wrong!

Sjw30 · 24/01/2023 12:30

@sally16 I totally understand the fear of judgement from others, within an NHS setting you’d think it wouldn’t be as bad but sadly it is! However, I think it’s important to put yourself first before anything and look after yourself, if you’re in pain you really shouldn’t go in. You know your own body and limitations but people will always talk, and work will always be there when you’re ready! Xx

UsernameNotPresent · 24/01/2023 12:38

Got my NIPT results back! All lowest possible risk and I am having another boy! 💙

Sjw30 · 24/01/2023 12:41

Congratulations @UsernameNotPresent 💙💙

AnnieApple123 · 24/01/2023 12:53

Great news @UsernameNotPresent ! Glad they didn’t keep you waiting too long. I still can’t decide whether to find out the sex from NIPT. I’ve asked them to hold the result.

Congratulations @UsernameNotPresent!!

sally16 · 24/01/2023 12:55

@Sjw30 oh I know, my mums said if I don't feel any better tomorrow about it all then she's gonna nip past the desk and get me the line and take it to my work for me 🤣 I'm a fully grown adult but I'll let this one happen 😂

AnnieApple123 · 24/01/2023 13:03

@BusyBushBaby We’ve got a few July dates. I’m guessing quite a number of us will end up delivering in July ultimately.

@AnnieApple123 I'm due the 30th of August according to the scan that ddiscovered the pregnancy. They said it may change when I go for 12 week scan as I have no periods to base dates off.

Sjw30 · 24/01/2023 13:21

@sally16 your mum sounds like a diamond!

nadsc · 24/01/2023 13:24

I had a scan at the epu this morning because I was an over worrier after a tiny bit of spotting on sat night and baby is measuring 6 days ahead! Will see if that’s still the case next Friday.

Amme18 · 24/01/2023 13:34

@UsernameNotPresent ah lovely news ❤️

@sally16 sometimes easier when someone makes the decision for you, I’d always ring my mum when I was poorly and calling sick to work for confirmation that I was doing the right thing 🤣 x

sally16 · 24/01/2023 13:47

@Amme18 so do I 😅 I'd let her ring in if it was allowed haha!

AnnieApple123 · 24/01/2023 14:11

13+1 (+4 or 5 according to scan) and I’m still feeling lousy. Hoping this passes soon. We have another playdate later with the mum who keeps asking when I’m going back to work. I’m wondering whether to tell her now, even though I’m still waiting on NIPT results. I might do if it gets difficult to avoid.

Talking of lists, here’s the list for the top of the new thread which I’m thinking we’re only a day or two away from now.

Do shout if I’ve missed anyone or any updates. @Mumtobabyhavoc I’ve moved you up to the 24th so you weren’t all on your own at the end (I know there’s also a late August/early September thread so the later dates have likely gone for that). Hope this is OK.

@sally16 and @Createcomet I’m just tagging you as two frequent posters who aren’t included yet. Apologies if I’ve missed either of you.

When I post the real thread, I’ll try to make it so everyone is tagged so that you can find it easily.

I hope you're feeling okay @sally16

buttercupbee · 24/01/2023 14:31

@UsernameNotPresent congratulations! 💙

@AnnieApple123 I’m currently 9th August although I have my 12 week scan on Friday so it might change then

Createcomet · 24/01/2023 14:33

@AnnieApple123 I'm sorry you're still feeling rough!

I'm feeling the same but a couple of weeks behind you. I feel like I'm failing at pregnancy/mum life right now 🤦‍♀️ I met a friend at the zoo for a couple of hours this morning with our 2 year olds. Omg it has totally wiped me out! And I feel so pathetic because I was so fit prior to pregnancy. My son was well behaved but really demanding needs a drink/snack/go in buggy/get out of buggy every 30 seconds and kept running away from me 🤦‍♀️ have had problems with my hip since last pregnancy which had now flared up again. Not bad, but it's uncomfortable after walking for a day or 2. My friend knew i was pregnant but still, ive only known her for 6 months and i didnt want to make a complete idiot of myself 🤣have just about managed to clean some of downstairs and shove dinner in the alow cooker, posted some invoices etc and now feeling shattered 🤦‍♀️ and sick. I can't believe how hard I'm finding it this time round! I'm feeling like I'm just failing at everything if I'm very honest.

Also, I think I came across as really unexciting about this pregnancy. Which I now feel really s**t about. I don't think I am unexcited, but I'm concerned about my workload which is now huge, and I'm also just feeling like absolute crap which is making this not feel like a lot of fun!

I hope it passes for us both soon! Mine was about 16 weeks last time so I'm praying that you're approaching that really soon! 🤞🤞🤞

Amme18 · 24/01/2023 14:42

@Createcomet I feel you! I LOVED my pregnancy last time, this time just feels like hard work. Not sure if it’s second baby, higher up at work now or because I’m in my 30s not 20s 😅 But I was really looking forward to being pregnant again and I’m so
disappointed it’s so much harder!

sally16 · 24/01/2023 15:03

Being pregnant while having children already is a totally different experience..
it is not as enjoyable 😂

Rose05 · 24/01/2023 15:33

I loved pregnancy with my daughter, loved my bump and missed it when it was gone! However it’s so hard not being able to sleep/lounge when needed with a toddler! 😂 we haven’t told her yet, she’s been asking lots of questions though, the latest “what’s growing in your tummy?”

UsernameNotPresent · 24/01/2023 16:53

Thank you, lovelies ☺️

I am feeling like I am failing at being a patient calm mum I want to be. Plus my 2 yo DS decided now is a good time to start pushing boundaries to see what mummy will do when he doesn't do what he is asked. I don't want to be a shouty mum, but lately I can't help it.

sally16 · 24/01/2023 17:00

@UsernameNotPresent I've always been a shouty mum 🤣 my sons starting running through to be shouting 'RIIIIIGHT' when I'm in the kitchen

As if I'm not allowed to be there 😂
