@VickiGo so glad to hear all ok.

@AnnieApple123 such a great idea and thankyou for organising. My early private scan said due date 19th Aug, but nhs dating scan is on 6th Feb x

My tooth broke at work today 😭. I've been so dizzy, tired, light headed and sore hips all day, I've just wanted to cry! So I sobbed all the way home! Hope I can see a gp tomorrrow because this is awful 😭

Ahhhh no!! I'm so sorry! This sounds really awful. When it doesn't rain, it pours 🤦‍♀️ I really hope you can get it seen to tomorrow!!!!

Desperatelyboredhousewife · 22/01/2023 20:03

My EDD is 10th August although I guess may change after my 12 week scan on the 30th.

I’ve been pretty anxious today because I have UTI symptoms but being a Sunday I’ve been unable to get treatment. Really hoping it hasn’t affected anything and I can get a gp appt tomorrow

overwork · 22/01/2023 20:12

Oh @sally16 that's all you need.
Well I was given a due date of 29/07 same as @Mulner88 and @DesertSnow today.
I think it was @ChloeN who's baby would not play ball? I was at the hospital for nearly 2 hours in total and the poor bloke refused to give up, but I don't think he was pleased with either the CRL or the nuchal measurements he got. All physical structures were looking fine.
Interestingly, that due date means that I apparently conceived when my partner was out of the country Grin

BMK · 22/01/2023 20:29

For anyone with threatened UTIs or UTIs that have just started: bread soda (*bicarbonate of soda)in a little water is the single best thing ever to ward it off/get rid of it.
My Granny used it any time one approached and I have found it excellent. It creates an alkaline environment which the bacteria can't thrive in and die off basically.
Sugar is your enemy with these or candida infections as bacteria feed off it and the acidic env it creates.

You take like a third or so of a teaspoon in a quarter or less of a glass of water and take it every 4 or so hours for teh first day and then maybe twice a day until it goes.

For the list my EDD is Aug 4th but have yet to have scan (am 12 and 1 day ,so hopefully this week). My experience in both prev pregnancies was going over by 7/8 days (for normal deliveries not induced); so likely later than Edd. I think going over by a good few days is the norm unless induction or section decides the date(*apart from with twins; there must be more undiscovered twins in the group!)

UsernameNotPresent · 22/01/2023 20:58

My due date 4th of August as per 12 week scan. I will likely have a C section a wee bit before that though.
NIPT bloods should be back within next few days. I am checking my emails like a maniac.

BCxx · 22/01/2023 21:34

@AnnieApple123 haha it is SO hard! I had the same thing with a friend asking about holiday plans the other day. I have been looking but to maybe go in March or something so I just said that but she was probably suspicious as we’d usually always have gone in the summer!

BCxx · 22/01/2023 21:36

@BMK that’s so interesting about the bicarbonate of soda, I have never heard that before! I used to get bothered with them multiple times a year and it was absolutely horrific. I honestly decided the pain was the worst kind of pain last time I had one and I’d actually rather recover from a section than have it. It was my biggest fear when I got my section in case the catheter caused one so I was downing sooo much water 🙈 I got one on holiday a few years ago and it absolutely ruined the rest of the holiday, had to go to the doctors for antibiotics eventually. Wish I’d known that then! 😂

ChloeN · 22/01/2023 21:37

@overwork yep it was me! She tried for ages and got me moving all around but just couldn’t get it! She did try so hard so they must find it annoying when they can’t get it accurately!

BCxx · 22/01/2023 21:38

@Desperatelyboredhousewife feel for you, they are the absolute worst! Hope you’ve drank excessive amounts of water and tried the tip above! They are such an uncomfortable pain that just doesn’t go away

BCxx · 22/01/2023 21:43

@Createcomet oh no that sounds scary! I’ve had the dizzy thing almost every time I get up too, I used to get it really badly (before pregnancy) getting out a bath and put it down to either low blood pressure or low iron levels. It’s probably a bit of both again now but I don’t remember it being this bad the last time so early on. I now stand up and bend forwards with my hands on my knees til it passes 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

AnnieApple123 · 22/01/2023 21:43

Thanks for the dates everyone.

@Createcomet Up to 45 mins after sounds awful. Really hope you’re feeling better now.

@sally16 That sounds hideous. Hope you can get seen tomorrow too. Are you still mainly working nights?

AnnieApple123 · 22/01/2023 21:49

@UsernameNotPresent Oh goodness, the wait for NIPT results. I’m really not looking forward to that. Although bizarrely I don’t remember it being too bad last time. I got a phone call first IIRC then an email to confirm, with warnings all over it that it contained gender info.

LBF2020 · 23/01/2023 07:10

Good luck for those with scans today. Does anyone know how long the results will take for the NHS NT/blood tests?

MidnightSunshine12 · 23/01/2023 07:19

Due date was moved forward to 26th July at 12 week scan although I think it's a few days off...

sally16 · 23/01/2023 07:22

Thanks guys, I've slept 11 hours and woken up feeling a little better but mum works in the same health Center as my drs so she's going to get me an appointment for bloods..
Her boss (dr) said I've likely got a calcium deficiency if my tooth's broken (one that's never even had a filling!) and likely anaemic again if I was struggling to keep my eyes open/dizzy etc :(
Had to get a lift home from work and my partner walk down to get my car once I was home (thankfully only a 20 min walk) because I couldn't even concentrate enough to drive :(

DS has woken up and made a dent in my Pringles I didn't get a chance to eat 🤣

BusyBushBaby · 23/01/2023 07:22

My due date by LMP/IVF transfer data is 5th August, but I have my 12 week scan later today so it might get moved up. Apparently they may not be able to complete the usual screening due to the deceased twin which would be a bummer.

sally16 · 23/01/2023 07:23

@MidnightSunshine12 that's some date change 😅 maybe having a massive baby 😆

sally16 · 23/01/2023 07:24

@BusyBushBaby that's annoying :( would there still be a visual of the twin now that would affect the results? Xx

AnnieApple123 · 23/01/2023 07:42

Thanks @LBF2020 !

Thats me today. First scan this pregnancy this afternoon at 13 weeks (I figured I couldn’t really procrastinate any more than that!). I’ve been trying not to think about it too much…

Good luck to you too @BusyBushBaby xx
