@sally16 i live in crocs. Absolutely love them, especially the fleece lined ones.

My other half’s family completely tore me to shreds when I got my first pair, a year later and they all wear them religiously haha!

Narwhal88 · 17/01/2023 17:52

@MinnieFirstTimeMum I'm also 5ft so will need petite 😬

@P1pk welcome, mine is also an ivf pregnancy 😊

MinnieFirstTimeMum · 17/01/2023 17:54

@Narwhal88 it is a pain to get clothes at the best of times isn't it 😂

sally16 · 17/01/2023 17:57

@Firsttimemomma1 I've worn them for years too and everyone's always torn into me.. but now it's cool they've went right up in prove!!

BCxx · 17/01/2023 18:02

@Firsttimemomma1 aww 🥰 it was all good news, 8+6 and it was kind of baby shaped but it was lying facing away so didn’t really get the same outline picture

Firsttimemomma1 · 17/01/2023 18:03

@BCxx ive been holding out for this message allllll damn day!!!!!! Congratulations!!

Firsttimemomma1 · 17/01/2023 18:04

@sally16 were clearly trendsetters ;) haha

BCxx · 17/01/2023 18:06

@DesertSnow @AnnieApple123 thank you! I was worrying for no reason, it was all good. 2 days behind where I thought so will be 9 weeks tomorrow but all good news 😅

BCxx · 17/01/2023 18:07

@Firsttimemomma1 such a relief 😂 I now feel like the 12 week one will be okay too! I saw the heartbeat straight away but it was facing away and was just a blob shape at first so I thought oh no there’s no way that’s 9 weeks! But it was all fine 🙈

Firsttimemomma1 · 17/01/2023 18:13

@BCxx I am thrilled. You may even be 9 weeks if baby was facing away as they can only measure why they see and it might have been scrunched up. A mm is such a small measurement, allow yourself a day or two’s grace girl :)!!!

My last EPU scan is in the morning at 8am and then I’m cold Turkey on the scans until the 12 week one. Going to be relying on this forum to get me through!!!

Have you got your dating scan yet? X

P1pk · 17/01/2023 18:13

@Firsttimemomma1 happy birthday & congrats on scan.
I had an early scan at 6+4 and then last week at 8+4 as I had light bleeding and I just couldn't deal with the anxiety!!

Im coming off the progesterone this week from my ivf clinic so i can feel my anxiety slowly creeping up on me as theres less to take!

@Narwhal88 congratulations 🎊

Luckily I'm only going into the office one day a week and I've been in either leggings with long top or a stretch midi skirt with loose Blouse. I don't want to say anything at work until I'm a lot further along. But defo no jeans for me

BCxx · 17/01/2023 19:23

@Firsttimemomma1 yeah I can definitely relax a bit now! I did think that, I’m not changing dates on my app or anything until I’ve had the 12 week one. It’s on 9th feb so 3 weeks to wait now . At least you’ll have tomorrow’s to get you through, good luck! X

AnnieApple123 · 17/01/2023 19:39

Wonderful news @BCxx . Been waiting for this all day too.

Had my 12 week scan today and all looking good. Dating 12+3, 3 days ahead of what I thought, with a new due date of 29th July but could still be August if I go over. I must say, I do feel relieved. I really wish everyone the best for any scans coming up 🥰

Mulner88 · 17/01/2023 19:49

@BCxx so glad your scan went well and hopefully the next 3 weeks will fly by for you!

Narwhal88 · 17/01/2023 19:55

Congrats on the scans @Mulner88 and @BCxx 😊😊😊

AnnieApple123 · 17/01/2023 19:57

So glad all well @Mulner88

@MinnieFirstTimeMum yes normal clothes are hard enough let alone maternity 😂 I can't bring myself to buy maternity yet but I've bought some bigger work trousers as I can't get in my usual ones 😳

Loudmouth1 · 17/01/2023 20:26

@DesertSnow I've looked at your pictures and it does look very girly!! Still early days though so far I've got 9 out of 11 right 😂

BCxx · 17/01/2023 20:28

@Mulner88 so glad yours went well! Are you telling people now?

@Narwhal88 thank you ☺️

Mulner88 · 17/01/2023 20:33

@BCxx my parents, parents in law, sister and some close friends already knew, but I've told my mother that she is now welcome to tell who she wants 😂

BCxx · 17/01/2023 20:39

@Mulner88 😂 so everyone will know just shortly then? That’s good you’d already told some people, it’s only my parents who know this time after a slight issue with the gossipy MIL last time so it’s putting me off ever telling her 🙈😭

BananaBread3 · 17/01/2023 20:42

marleyandme · 17/01/2023 13:03

I don't know about you all that are feeling bloated but I've already bought maternity jeans 😂 I live in them and love the extra warmth of the over bump material although there's nothing to hold it up yet!
I figure I'm a quarter way through already so I need to be comfy and my normal jeans I'd been wearing with the button and zip undone all day which was not suitable for leaving the house 😂
My only irritation is there being barely anywhere that does petite/short and maternity, I felt like I'm not allowed to be short and pregnant 😂 on the plus side I've been practicing hemming them up so at least I've learnt a skill I'll probably need for little one if they take after me!

So lovely to see your 12 week scans 😍 it's getting me quite excited!

Ha! I feel the same about being tall :) can’t add material unfortunately 😂

DesertSnow · 17/01/2023 20:49

@Mulner88 congrats on your scan! You're the same as me - due date 29th July and 12 + 3 today 🥰

@Loudmouth1 ah thank you for guessing! Your stats are pretty good 😂 Guess even if it is girly it could still rise. I'd be delighted either way, but fun to hear what people think!

DesertSnow · 17/01/2023 20:52

@BCxx ah glad your scan went well too! Hope you can relax a bit now (easier said than done 😂)
