Me! 🙋🏻‍♀️@HalWin2221, my boobs have been significantly less tender for the last week or two. Nausea also seems to fluctuate and I had a good few days completely nausea free last week. It's been back since though but remaining quite mild. It's definitely normal for symptoms to fluctuate. 😊

HalWin2221 · 26/10/2022 11:02

@Texasholdem20 how far along are you? Yeah I think it is really normal, but it is comforting when you get symptoms isn’t it! 🙈

HalWin2221 · 26/10/2022 11:03

Thanks @B1993, that is really reassuring! I think I’m extra anxious as I’m 4+5 today and I’ve had 2 MC that were at 5w. So need to try relax!

B1993 · 26/10/2022 11:21

@HalWin2221, sorry for your past losses! 💔❤️‍🩹 I also had a miscarriage at 5 weeks and felt so relieved when I'd made it past that point. Keeping my fingers crossed that this rainbow sticks around for the next 8 months! 💖🌈

I’m 5+3 - have had 2 early losses around 5-6 weeks this year so the anxiety is super high. How about you?

HalWin2221 · 26/10/2022 11:50

@B1993 thank you 🥺 sorry to hear about your loss too, but glad you’re feeling better getting past that 5w mark! Spending you lots of baby dust too ✨

@Texasholdem20 sorry to hear about your losses 💕 I’m 4+5 & in a similar position my last 2 cycles I’ve had MCs at 5w. I’m hoping I feel better after I get past 5w (if I do!) xx

BobbySD345 · 26/10/2022 12:58

Anyone who has had previous mc are you taking progesterone? They've said I can have it prescribed if I think I need it. Aswell as the higher dose of folic acid due to over 30 BMI

LT103 · 26/10/2022 13:28

thats reassuring. I’m 8+2 and worried my symptoms hadn’t been much over weekend but nausea back today which is lovely! Boobs still feel like they’re on fire, like I can’t roll over in bed or they feel like they’re ripping off my chest, I can’t describe it. Other than that just tired. But yes, my symptoms are very much coming and going so I’m glad that seems normal.

NalaNana · 26/10/2022 13:30

@LT103 I'm 8+3 today and have been feeling like my symptoms have fluctuated over the last few days. Like you my boobs are still super sore. To be honest I'm wondering if the fluctuating nausea is just because I've learnt to manage it better and I'm taking steps to prevent the nausea (eating more frequently etc). This morning I didn't eat for about 40 minutes just to check and sure enough I was dry heaving again 😂

Hi - I had a monitored cycle this time and was prescribed progesterone from ovulation until 12 weeks (if I get there!) at least - this is the furthest DPO I’ve gotten and highest hcg levels I’ve had so seems to be a good thing for me x

Tor88 · 26/10/2022 16:02

@BobbySD345 yes, I've had two MCs and am on aspirin and progesterone this time x

CaliGirl47 · 26/10/2022 16:28

Congratulations to all the recent BFPs 🤗🤰🏻

I’m doing okay today. I’ve been very busy and might’ve over done it a bit today because I started having very strong , very scary cramping. (I’m 8+3) No bleeding thankfully but I took it as a sign to slow down and stop lifting furniture whilst cleaning 😅 It’s shook me up a little bit. And then I was listening to some new music and found myself balling my eyes out.😭😭 I know a few of us on here have had previous MCs and I feel like Taylor Swift's new song “Bigger Than The Whole Sky” could do with some sort of a trigger warning on it. 🥺😭Definitely brought back all my feelings and emotion and loss from my previous MC and maybe it’s the hormones, but it’s really gotten to me today. Hopefully tomorrow will be brighter 🌦☀️🌈

BobbySD345 · 26/10/2022 16:54

I have just rang the unit and chased them for progesterone 🤞🏻 Is anyone having hot flushes day and night!?

HalWin2221 · 26/10/2022 17:05

@BobbySD345 are you having any bleeding? Or is it just a thing they’ll prescribe it after MC? X

BobbySD345 · 26/10/2022 17:16

No bleeding 🤞🏻 I actually didn't know about it until I rang Tommys on Monday just to check whether I needed to see them this pregnancy or not. My last was successful and we have a beautiful nearly 3 year old but prior to that we lost 2. In the early weeks of our 3 year old we were under them for reassurance scans. When I rang she said no reassurance scans this time but progesterone can be taken. Think it's a new thing since mid 2019.

HalWin2221 · 26/10/2022 17:19

@BobbySD345 when I spoke to Tommy’s they said it was only when you’ve had early bleeding. Can you let me know how you get on? 🤞🏽 having 2 previous MC I’ve self prescribed aspirin anyway!

BobbySD345 · 26/10/2022 18:07

I hadn't heard of aspirin so I'm going to Google that! They're sending me a prescription.

B1993 · 26/10/2022 18:10

@BobbySD345 Not sure how you'll get on at EPAU. I had bright red spotting this pregnancy (after a loss the month before). When I went for my visbility scan a couple of weeks later, they told me there isn't enough support research that it does help with bleeding!! Luckily mine stopped altogether and I've not had any since, by they said they'd only consider the progesterone supplements if it returned. Maybe yours will be more supportive/accommodating but it could also be a bit of a battle. Wishing you more luck than I had!!

firsttimelondonmummy · 26/10/2022 18:27

This may sound stupid but what do you all mean when you say nausea rather than vomiting?
I’m 6 weeks today and I’ve had food aversions but I’ve not felt like I’m going to be sick if that makes sense?
Had the odd dizzy spell mind and today I felt like I was chewing coppers on the way home from work 😭
Boobs are still swollen and tender and I still need to wee all the time!
Fatigue seems to be setting in too and I’m also crying at literally anything on the TV…. 🤦🏻‍♀️

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 26/10/2022 18:44

I get nausea a bit but it's like dizziness and feel a bit sick but not vomitting. I've started being tired all the time. I can barely sleep. My earache is horrendous nearly didn't go to work today. I'm going to look for ear drops in house after dinner to try relieve it. Just had my first actual full dinner in like 3 weeks. I've no appetite at night.

DrinkingAllTheGin · 26/10/2022 18:49

Anyone else suffering with constipation? The cramping from that is worse than the cramps I get from anything else!

BobbySD345 · 26/10/2022 19:43

I said to my Husband yesterday i think some of my cramps are constipation and gas !

Well I have just had the worst evening and now I am feeling sick with panic. Just fell down the last 4 stairs. I think I landed OK baby wise. My foot is massively swollen and sore and I've sprained my ankle but I went into shock and fainted. So now I'm really worried. Would you ladies go for a scan as a result?

B1993 · 26/10/2022 19:47

@firsttimelondonmummy I have an uneasy stomach - almost like the feeling you get when you're feeling travel sick. I've also heard that lots of people describe the neasea like sea sickness. Sometimes it's so bad that I end up dry heaving or vomiting (but that's happened rarely), other times it's just a sickly feeling and nothing more.

@DrinkingAllTheGin I hadn't really had any until
the last few days. With my first, it was pretty bad!! Constipation is common and I've heard it's worse due to the iron supplements in most pregnancy vitamins. I've been using Active Iron pregnancy plus vitamins this time around and feel so much better than I did taking Pregnacare Max with my first.

firsttimelondonmummy · 26/10/2022 20:06

ah thanks both! That makes sense, think I have had that then.
Is anyone else really panicking about food too?
I just cooked a spag Bol (browned but some pink) slow cooked for 30 mins then higher heat for 15 mins and still panicking I’ve undercooked and given myself toxoplasmosis.
I’m so paranoid about foods and drink 😭

firsttimelondonmummy · 26/10/2022 20:07

P.s when I say browned some pink I mean I did that before I slow cooked.
