@B1993 @janie85 glad it's not just me! Last time I didn't start showing until around 16 weeks. I tried a dress on I remember wearing at 14 weeks and it was almost baggy on me then, but this time I couldn't even zip it up!! I just feel so frumpy and I've got a few social occasions coming up for the festive season that I want to feel nice for. But even the maternity stuff is probably still too big. Thankfully I mostly work from home so haven't had the awkward hiding from colleagues challenge, but even so my work is quite casual so I'd be ok wearing my leggings and baggy jumpers

I'm 10+3, My symptoms are easing and I'm feeling like I have a bit more energy now. The wait for the scan is excruciating! I'll be 12+6 by the scan.

Ally1992 · 21/11/2022 06:43

Anyone else still throwing up at 11 weeks or in previous pregnancies? I hoped it would ease off by now but it has ramped up even more.

Yep in my first pregnancy my sickness continued until 16 weeks and then stopped really suddenly. I'm 12 weeks and still being sick now.

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 21/11/2022 11:33

@Ally1992 @Algor1thm Me too. 11+3 weeks and feel so sick all the time. Never been sick though but having to force food down me just to keep up energy. I'm in bed constantly with exhaustion. Need to try eat more but can't stomach it. Had a bottle of water today so that's something. Can't stomach coffee. I love fresh orange juice at the moment though. Got a bottle from Greggs and I felt like it was the tastiest thing ever 😂Drank a whole carton yesterday. Scan is next Tuesday. I have no bump but my chubb/cake shelf probably hiding it.

tigerlily0 · 21/11/2022 12:58

I'm 12+ 3 and I'm definitely not as constantly nauseous as previous weeks. But I am really bloated and if I eat anything it makes me feel sick and just blehhh and I still have to dry gag randomly throughout the day. My other 2 pregnancies sickness/ nausea lasted til 16-17 weeks. Just want a day where I'm not feeling sick. Scan tmrw so something to look forward too.

janie85 · 21/11/2022 14:15

Is anyone finding they're not that thirsty? And just not fancying a drink? I have been like this for ages.
Although craving grapes so maybe I'm getting my liquid out of them!

Ally1992 · 21/11/2022 15:06

Fingers crossed the nausea doesn’t go on too much longer for us all, my 12 week scan is on Monday coming so looking forward to that as well.

@janie85 I have been thirsty but I’m the same with just not fancying it, I’ve gone off tea and coffee so force myself to have water or squash all day.

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 21/11/2022 16:54

@janie85 Definitely struggling to drink too. Given up coffee as can't stomach it. Going to Aldi tomorrow for fresh orange juice and a ribena type juice as that's only thing I can manage at the moment.

blebbleb · 21/11/2022 17:01

Probably tmi information but I've had such an upset stomach recently. Visiting the toilet almost every hour! The sickness has gone though.

janie85 · 21/11/2022 17:11

It's good to know it's not just me! I swear with my first pregnancy I used to wake up completely desperate for a drink, or maybe that was towards the end!

I am mostly feeling like orange tango and fizzy drinks.

But I really can't wait for the sickness feeling to stop now, I'm sure we're all in this boat..

BobbySD345 · 21/11/2022 19:41

I have been fancying smooth orange juice aswell and usually I wouldn't go for that at all. So weird isn't it.

Veryxonfused · 21/11/2022 19:47

Hormones are all over the show today. Felt extremely angry earlier and now I feel sad/vulnerable/insecure and sad about everything

NalaNana · 21/11/2022 19:54

I had my dating scan today and was dated 12+5 which gives me a new due date of 31 May! I imagine it'll still be a June birthday anyway. All as it should be so starting to feel more confident ✨

Rlt8990 · 21/11/2022 20:00

I think im just over 10 now, had a private scan which put me about 4 or 5 days behind what I thought, just feels like the longest time ever at the moment ! Just over 2 weeks to NHS scan. This is my second and my symptons are so much more severe, have lost weight but seem to have a bump, and barely drinking anything. Starting to eat more normal food this week maybe as I'm figuring out gow to graze to keep the nausea at bay. I did try anti sickness pills from the gp but they made it 100x worse ! So tired and feeling all the mum guilt about not playing as much with my 3 year old, not walking the dog and not cleaning the house ! Still also get the anxiety when I wake up not feeling as ill!! Another one hoping to be more normal by Xmas

firsttimelondonmummy · 21/11/2022 21:02

I’m so jealous a lot of you are close to or over 12 weeks now! Two weeks feels so far away when symptomless 😭
Private NIPT testing booked in for next Wednesday (because I’m such an anxious person) hoping all will be well and I’ll see a little more development at nearly 11 weeks.
Just want that NHS scan and to hear all is well which will be nearly 14 weeks for me!

I managed 2 bowls of crunchy nut cornflakes just now. I feel so much better for managing to eat something. Can't manage anything else so glad I got something down me. Got a bottle of water to force down too. Not at work currently due to annual leave and everyday is dragging so much.

dresslol · 21/11/2022 23:23

@firsttimelondonmummy do you go for the panorama or harmony test? I’m currently in the wait for my results, can be up to two weeks, one week down and I feel like I’m counting minutes and checking my inbox constantly. I’ve selected to find out the gender too so I’m both excited and nervous for the results. Best of luck to you for Wednesday, let us know how you get on x

tigerlily0 · 22/11/2022 17:06

Does anyone else's antenatal appts take forever? Iv been in the clinic for 3 hours. Had my scan, that took a while to be fair because baby was not in the right position and wouldn't move, but I'm still waiting to speak to obstetrician as I have to take aspirin but also needs bloods doing and iv been here 3 hours already. I'm absolutely shattered

ImHopeful2023 · 22/11/2022 17:07

Had my 12 week scan today and heart heartbeat and saw baby moving couldn't get over how much he/she was moving thanks all for your reassurance lately today has defo eased my nerves alot

firsttimelondonmummy · 22/11/2022 19:07

@dresslol i’m having harmony.
We are hoping to find out gender too!
We got told 7/10 days from when we have it we will have results.
I am sure everything will be great with your results 💖

dresslol · 22/11/2022 19:12

@firsttimelondonmummy I’ve requested the gender test too, it’s both exciting and nerve wracking, I can’t quite believe we’ll find out both any risk factor and gender in an email, the wait is killing me!
Best of luck

Hopeful1992 · 22/11/2022 19:49

So many people saying they’ve been craving fresh orange juice, I’ve been the same all I want is fresh orange juice or easy peel oranges! I’m just waiting for the stage where I’m craving burgers 😂
ive had horrible nausea for the past week, to the point opening the fridge/dishwasher or putting something in the bin made me gag. Tonight all that seems to have dissapeared so I’m freaking myself out 😫 first trimester is so hard! Can’t wait for our first scan Saturday hopefully for some reassurance.

hope everyone is doing ok 💖

ireneadler101 · 22/11/2022 19:51

I'm 10 weeks exactly and my symptoms (which were mainly just occasional nausea and exhaustion) have really eased off over the last few days. While it's nice to feel a bit more normal, I'm obviously a bit worried too. Has anyone else noticed their symptoms easing around this time? I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks during my last pregnancy so starting to enter nervous territory!

ImHopeful2023 · 22/11/2022 20:46

@ireneadler101 I was exactly like you and then I started having cramps thinking I was have a miscarriage again but I jus Thad my 12 week scan today and baby was moving and had a heartbeat so those symptoms easing off don't mean the worst I have to say the tiredness came back this weekend too so it could be your symptoms fluctuating

BobbySD345 · 22/11/2022 20:52

I have got blood forms to go and do the NIPT test which I think is the harmony test and I've just read online why! Because at the date of delivery I will be 35. Apparently any mother 35 or over at date of delivery qualifies to have it on the NHS. I don't know how I feel about that as by virtue of being given it for free, I am clearly at greater risk. Also don't believe we can opt to know gender. I believe they only check for abnormalities.
