Just had my booking appointment. No scan date, apparently I have to wait for a letter. Got some blood forms to go sort asap and rhen a second lot of forms for within 72hours of the 12 week scan, think that is the NIPT bloods? I should have taken my OH as I kept zoning out. She said don't buy pregnacare and just take folic acid (higher dose for my 32 BMI) and vit D. I bought the plus pack for the omega 3 and still got a few left so I'll carry on and then revert to the cheapo vit D. She also suggested calcium as I can't tolerate lactose and I am basically eating all beige so I need the calcium. Forced myself to drink a vitamin packed smoothie on the way out of the Hospital because all I have eaten today is ready salted crisps and a ham sandwich on white bread, so bad !! She said EDD 21.6.23 but I think that is ahead of what EPAU said when they scanned me last week.

So sorry for the losses. I won't tag as I remember how much it hurt getting the notifications. Thoughts are with you though.

@BellaTheDarkOverlord it's my DH's birthday today too. We did Thai from m&s. Hope I don't regret it later.

i have just weighed myself and I think I have lost nearly a stone. Surely that can't be right? My bmi was in the obese category so I'm not wasting away or anything but a stone in a month. Surely not?

AstroH · 15/11/2022 21:50

My heart breaks for you both, thinking of you and sending positive vibes for your 🌈 if you choose to try again ✨

HalWin2221 · 15/11/2022 21:51

I've been so anxious today because my nausea has disappeared but then I’ve brushed my teeth and just thrown up?! Anyone else struggling to brush their teeth?

B1993 · 16/11/2022 06:17

@firsttimelondonmummy, it's only usually a bad sign if you've had strong symptoms and they suddenly all disappear. Often, symptoms come and go, which is very different. But a sudden loss of all symptoms might indicate a problem.

I've said it before, but with my first pregnancy, I didn't have any symptoms other than fatigue. My now 3 year old is as happy and healthy as ever.

You could just be lucky in the fact that you aren't experiencing more and I've also had many people tell me that mild symptoms usually indicate boy! Not sure if there's any truth in it, but it was definitely the case for me. So, team blue maybe?! 💙

B1993 · 16/11/2022 06:26

@BobbySD345 my trust is the same and they won't book the scan until after the booking appointment. It didn't take long for it to come through though. Not sure about the forms, I've never been given anything like that 🤷🏻‍♀️

Speaking of which, my scan is next week now! I'm equal parts nervous and excited. Lots of you must be having them this week too?! For those of you that are, I hope you all get to see happy, wriggly babies 💕

BobbySD345 · 16/11/2022 07:42

@HalWin2221 I remember my friend saying she would throw up on a morning tooth clean !

BobbySD345 · 16/11/2022 07:44

@B1993 I'm a few weeks behind you then as she said 8 + 6 yesterday. While to go yet to my 12 week scan ! Hate the idea of wishing the days away but also want to get psst 12 weeks x

Gemmms00 · 16/11/2022 08:10

Hi ladies, is there a Facebook group yet? Positive pregnancy test on Sunday, scan yesterday that confirmed I’m 11+3 today!!!!!!! Bit of a surprise! Baby #3 so you would have thought that’s I’d have known I was pregnant!! 😂

MrsP4 · 16/11/2022 09:44

Hi everyone, how is everyone?
I'm currently 11+ 4 I've got my Scan on 28th at 9:20 so looking forward to that, this baby no 2 and it's definitely true what people say you show quicker second time round, I have a bit of a pop belly already 🙈 anyone else the same? This is me atm

blebbleb · 16/11/2022 10:38

@MrsP4 you look great. I wish I looked that slim when I wasn't pregnant tbh! I'm definitely very bloated towards the end of the day.

BobbySD345 · 16/11/2022 11:15

@MrsP4 This is what I look like now at 8 + 6 (plus massive thunder thighs 🤣) Not sure how I am going to hide it at the Christmas party on 16th December...

BobbySD345 · 16/11/2022 11:16

@Gemmms00 Wow! Welcome and congrats. Were your periods quite irregular so you didn't suspect? What made you test?

WindUpPenguin · 16/11/2022 11:29

Hello all! I'm 8+5. I've had my first midwife appointment and got my scan in four weeks. This is my first pregnancy. Does anyone else feed they need to eat constantly to stave of sickness? I also seem to want nothing but cheese and sugary carbs, so a bit worried I'm not getting the healthiest diet!

blebbleb · 16/11/2022 11:58

@WindUpPenguin I'm similar, addicted to cheese sandwiches at the moment!

WindUpPenguin · 16/11/2022 12:00

blebbleb · 16/11/2022 11:58

@WindUpPenguin I'm similar, addicted to cheese sandwiches at the moment!

I needed a cheese and pickle sandwich at work the other day, but Tesco were sold out, so I bought a plain cheese one and a jar of Branston. 😂

HasHus86 · 16/11/2022 12:05

@WindUpPenguin I’m 8+5 weeks today aswell!

From like week 6-7 I was constantly hungry and wanted to eat anything and everything but now at 8 weeks my nausea has really kicked in and I don’t feel hungry at all. I feel sick just thinking about food. It’s crazy what these hormones do to us.
I am trying to hold off an early scan, let’s see how long I’ll last because my 12 week scan isn’t until the 21st of December.

Gemmms00 · 16/11/2022 12:14

@BobbySD345 my husband made me!! 🤦🏽‍♀️ The last few months had just been crazy busy with the kids and work that I hadn’t realised just how late I was… To make it more of a surprise my husband had the snip last month! 😂

janie85 · 16/11/2022 12:19

@WindUpPenguin I am the same!! 8+4 today, I am constantly hungry but not sure what I fancy. I find if I think about what food I fancy, I don't want it, but if I am presented with food I'll eat it - if that makes sense?

This is my second pregnancy and I would say this time I feel slightly better, but it's still really constant and like blah!

janie85 · 16/11/2022 12:20

But wow I am eating soooo much and I'm nervous about weight gain but the need to fill my stomach feels way more important than that..

firsttimelondonmummy · 16/11/2022 12:24

@WindUpPenguin that is dedication 😂
I had a week where I was obsessed with Branston small pickle and cheese on crackers haha

WindUpPenguin · 16/11/2022 12:31

I had a couple of days of terrible nausea and vomiting, but I have discovered that if I force down a piece of toast first thing I am fine as long as I don’t let myself get hungry. I’m don’t necessarily want to eat, but woe betide me if I leave it too long between snacks, as I will revert to vomiting and not be able to keep anything down for the rest of the day. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It’s a whole new level of hanger. I’m trying to replace biscuits with fruit juice (can’t stomach actual fruit) to at least get some vitamins in.

BobbySD345 · 16/11/2022 12:40

@WindUpPenguin the key is definitely to keep grazing to keep the nausea at bay. I ate two packets of crisps yesterday on the way to the midwife appointment to stop me throwing up !

Ally1992 · 16/11/2022 12:46

To the people who have lost weight I’m very jealous! I’m 10+3 today and already gained 6 pounds!

DrinkingAllTheGin · 16/11/2022 13:33

I've only lost weight because I can't stomach chocolate 😫
