@CaliGirl47 so sorry to hear this 💕

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 11/11/2022 11:28

I just received two letters through on the app. One for 29th November for 12 week app. Then another came through for 23rd November for another scan with a Dr in EPAU? Googled the doctors name and it's the consultant. They said they wouldn't see me until 16 weeks so hope it's not a bad sign they want to see me so early. I suppose I won't be waiting too long then.

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 11/11/2022 11:30

Oh thank god I read it wrong. It's 23rd December 😁

B1993 · 11/11/2022 11:38

@BellaTheDarkOverlord, great news about having the scan dates through. I like having the appointments to look forwards to and seems to make things go that little bit quicker - hopefully it’ll be the same for you!

I’m have a bit of a grim day so far. I woke up early this morning (5am) and couldn’t get back to sleep so I’m already exhausted and feeling SOO nauseas without actually being sick. I’ve not managed to do anything this morning (luckily I don’t work Fridays so haven’t had to force myself into work) and just generally feeling very unmotivated 😓😫 Please someone tell, me I’m not the only one feeling like this?!

B1993 · 11/11/2022 12:00

Spoke too soon... I've just been sick! 🤢

SleepingJane · 11/11/2022 12:08

@B1993 I'm with you!!! I have zero motivation at the moment, and I just feel so pooped the majority of the time... is this normal?

I've also gained about half a stone and am not fitting into any of my jeans. I thought I had more time!

positivethoughts1 · 11/11/2022 12:53

@CaliGirl47 I'm gutted for you, my messages are open if you want or need a chat ❤️ I was trying to decide between natural and medical management earlier this year. Listen to your body and the doctors looking after you xxx

blebbleb · 11/11/2022 13:00

@SleepingJane yes the tiredness is totally normal. I'm feeling it now almost 9 weeks in and had it almost as bad in my first pregnancy. It definitely improves after the first trimester!

B1993 · 11/11/2022 13:59

@SleepingJane definitely normal! Growing a new human is tiring work. Lots of people find that it eases into the second trimester so the end is in sight but I found mine lasted my entire pregnancy and, of course, well beyond this with baby!

I know the feeling with not fitting into things! I've been so bloated recently that I look huge and am finding my work trousers are really tight to do up. I normally wear dresses and tights/leggings outside of work though, which are still comfortable so so I've been in those. When is too soon to start wearing maternity toursers/jeans?!

DrinkingAllTheGin · 11/11/2022 14:13

Had my booking in this morning.
My midwife is lovely.
Being old since overweight is not in my favor for risk factors. Must look after myself and do more exercise apparently.
Not sure I can manage it at the moment!

ImHopeful2023 · 11/11/2022 15:54

Is it normal for nausea to go after 9/10 weeks.. only symptom I seek to have is sore nipples some white discharge and cramping just hoping this pregnancy is ok have no living children but had two miscarriages this year

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 11/11/2022 15:56

@B1993 Yes glad I have something now to look forward to.

I'm not working nights from now until nearer Xmas so glad I can relax a bit more. I got a couple of weeks off coming up too. I'm nauseous through the day all the time but it's really subtle and I just can't eat. Not been sick, just the underlying feeling I'm never hungry. I've slept so much today too. I've got n motivation at all.

justbelieve · 11/11/2022 16:25

@ImHopeful2023 I’ve heard that it’s normal from 10 weeks as that’s when the placenta takes over in providing the blood etc for baby. Symptoms can fluctuate anyway, and people lose them at different times.

I’m 7+5 and lost all of my symptoms for almost a week, convinced something was wrong, went for a scan yesterday and baby was fine and growing lovely! Sore nipples and discharge is back for me today and slight twinges/cramps, but I’m not sure if that’s because I had a transvaginal ultrasound and I might be a bit sore

ImHopeful2023 · 11/11/2022 16:42

justbelieve congrats on your scan at times I wish we had them every week for ease of mind. I don't have next one until the 22nd Im trying to stay positive just after two miscarriages this year I can't stop worrying. Thanks for your reply delighted your baby is growing as expected

B1993 · 11/11/2022 17:31

@ImHopeful2023 I wouldn’t worry about it (I know, easier said than done) as symptoms fluctuate and it’s normal for them to come and go! I’ve had a bit of break from my symptoms since a couple of weeks ago up until a few days ago and I’m around 10 weeks. Since Wednesday, the sickness seems to have come back with a vengeance. Today I’ve just felt awful - no energy and constantly feeling sick (been physically sick 3 times today). I heard that HCG is highest around 9-10 weeks which is why some people tend to get it badly then before it eases off around 12 weeks, but with my first I didn’t experience any sickness or nausea and he’s a healthy 3 year old now.
