Hi all just checking in sorry been a busy week my best friends husband has been diagnosed with cancer and he's been in hospital having chemo so I've had her little girl she's 3 and my little girl is 3 in Jan so I've had a taste of what two is like. Anyway hope everyone is ok just read a few previous messages sorry to hear that @theodora2146 plenty of rest, and don't be kind to yourself 😘 xx

I had a letter through today for my scan 28th November I'll actually be 13 + 2 feels like she's away xx

I've had a few days off here too..been really tired and not much to say! Apparently all I say is 'I'm tired' or 'I feel sick' these days!😂

Sorry to hear about your friends husband @MrsP4. Good that you've got your scan through, although it does seem ages away! Hopefully time will fly by!

My midwife called to say shes leaving my practice so I'll be taken care of by someone else now. I should be having my booking appointment call between 9-10 weeks (I'm 9 weeks on Friday) so I'm hoping I dont get lost in the system now!🤞 I'm pretty sure they're not booking my 12 week scan until I've had that appt 😬

I am 7 weeks and my boobs are super sore and getting bigger. Any recommendations for a cheap ish sleep bra? I am usually happy to spend money on decent bras but think I might only have a month or so in it if they continue like this!!

@theodora2146 sorry to hear about the bleeding. Hope it all works out at scan. I don't know if this will be of any consolation but I had some heavy (I think it was heavy, bright red when I wiped) bleeding on Sunday which included a few clots. It turned brown and has eventually tailed off. Had a scan and everything now okay, no obvious cause for the bleeding. Hopefully it's the same for you. Fingers crossed for good news

@WarriorsComeOutToPlayaaay TU Sainsburys do some good pull on ones! I am finding them more comfortable than "normal" bras at the moment. I have big boobs anyway but mine are SOOOO sore!

I have one child who is 9 years old. This little one is our miracle IVF baby after struggling with secondary infertility for four years.

So excited to be doing this all again.

I have been looking at Baby sign and Monkey music classes already 😊 Apparently you can start them from newborn. Last time we went to lots of baby groups but I kind of wish I’d done some structured classes. So exiting to be thinking about this.

@Quokka7 My scan is Monday. I don't think they'll let me have a photo as it's EPAU and I'm assuming they won't let DH come with me. I hope it'll be all ok then. I'll be 9 weeks+3.

@Quokka7, yes we do! It's first thing tomorrow and I'm feeling quite anxious now! Hoping all is well as the spotting has since stopped. Although, a complete lack of symptoms does have be a bit worried! 😟

My 6 week scan was through the EPU @BellaTheDarkOverlord and I got a printed picture. 🥰 They also told me that I was able to bring a support person, which is what they've told me again this time so hubby is coming too!!

we have our reassurance private scan tomorrow at 9+3. We already had a scan at 7 weeks at clinic so excited to see the difference but still super anxious

Thank you, it's been tough just one of those situations when you don't know what to do or say just got to be there for her that's the best I can do.

Ahh that's a shame hopefully it gets sorted soon, but yeah it's at the booking apt that they request all of your scans so you won't hear anything until after that apt, annoying really!

Sadly I've lost the baby.

I had to rush to a&e yesterday afternoon after extreme heavy bleeding and what I can only describe as contractions. The pain was excruciating, something I've not experienced in my life. I had bloods at the hospital which showed elevated hcg still but the doctor believed I'm in the middle of a miscarriage. I've got a scan this morning which will confirm more.

I would have been 10 weeks today based on LMP but measured 8 weeks.

@theodora2146 I'm so sorry 💔 I had one at 9+2 and the pain was totally excruciating, I was stunned at how horrific it all was. It's such a traumatic experience so I hope you can take some decent time off to rest and recover - I found a lot of solace in the miscarriage boards on MN, I also read 'brink of being', a book on miscarriage by therapist Julia Bueno which I really recommend xxx
