4 weeks pregnant

Hey ladies, I wonder if anyone would like to join me, I'm 4 weeks pregnant and am terrified! I lost a baby in June at 12 weeks and had to have surgical management, I'm so so anxious now!

Would anyone else like to join me on our journey! X

@blueberry23 this is it, nothing looked wrong with my tests in Mc even my scan at 5 then 8 weeks was perfect so no matter what the tests say it won't change, but I can't help but do them!

@Mayfield87 my sickness started at 7 too! I wonder if it will this time?

@toadinthehole1 ive got exactly the same with the pregnancy + app so I’m just using it along with a couple of others…

glat to hear reading this I’m not the only one test crazy. Once I have my early scan at 7 weeks I hope to be a bit less worried. Just can’t believe there is a baby there yet……!

Is anyone else doing early scans? I think I'm going to wait till 8 weeks but not sure?

@Moosh18 this is my second baby. I already feel so different. My boobs aren't as sore but I can feel the nausea creeping in already. I had quite bad sickness with my first but it didn't hit me until 6/7 weeks. I threw up everyday till 20 weeks, so I am hoping il feel different this time! How old is your DC?

I won't be doing early scans unless the need arises, I don't even plan on telling my doc until 7 weekish 🙈 if I get on with life without thinking about it I am hoping time will go faster.

@toucanfly I considered not doing any, but after previous loss if something is off I'd rather know then wait till 12 week, I'm so so so scared of another MMc x

Morning all! Hope everyone is keeping well - Can I join the bandwagon of obsessively doing tests and seeing if they darken (even though I know it means nothing for MC a lot of the time).
4 weeks 1 day, tested positive at 11DPO (top test) and AF due today at 14DPO (bottom test and on separate pic sorry for the laundry being sorted in the back ground 🙈) - seem decent lines but clear blue still saying 1-2 weeks (which is accurate) but always concerns me re: whether hcg is increasing as it should. Going for private beta hcg tomorrow. Help me down of the test ledge please!

@Texasholdem20 your hcg is deffo rising you can see clear progression!! I really really wouldn't worry at all!!! X

@Moosh18 oh gosh that sounds horrific I am so sorry you experienced that. I am sure an early scan will really put you at ease after going through that xx

@toucanfly I hope so! My line today was darker then it's been so that is helping for now, and we go on holiday in a couple of weeks, so think I will arrange a scan for that week when we are back I will be approx 7.5 weeks! Im dreading the sickness, when I had it with DD it was so so horrific I couldn't get out of bed! Luckily that was during covid when on furlough! Not sure how I'll cope with a toddler and working full time! X

Hi everyone, tentatively joining - BFP on Wednesday, should be 4+3 today.

This will be first baby but not first pregnancy for me so trying to stay positive. Congratulations and good luck to everyone!

@Moosh18 I am also breastfeeding my two year old and have no breast tenderness this time! I can't remember last time when it started but I know by 12-14 weeks I was unable to lie on my front. I'm feeling bloated, sicky/ refluxy, a little tired on and off. Oh and sleeping like shit which is new to me! (Though I also had it last pregnancy)

@blueberry23 your symptoms sound similar to mine :) I also did a CB digital this morning and got 2-3 weeks at 4+4 so I'm happy it's progressing and trying not to obsess with what symptoms I have/ haven't got.

I'm hoping to get an early scan around 7-8 weeks. I had one with my daughter and it didn't help alleviate much anxiety beyond the scan room, but I think it helped my DH who talks me down, so it will be good! I also want to tell some friends I'm seeing around 9 weeks and I would like a scan before that.

Thank you! It’s just so hard not to isn’t it? Have you decided on an early scan? EPAU agreed to do me one at 6 weeks and tbh it’s the only thing keeping me going as I don’t think my anxiety could last to 12 without some assurance!

@Moosh18i have so much respect for pregnant mum's! I wonder this all the time how do you do it caring for a child when nauseous and exhausted. Superstrength.
About the early scans: honestly i want to but I'm scared to after what happened last time so I told the midwife I will not do a scan before 12 weeks. Did you have an early scan with your DD?

@Nakia4 thank you ❤️ yes I had one at 8 weeks with DD was lovely, but I had such such bad sickness I wasn't overly anxious at that point! Hopefully some real symptoms come soon to put mine at rest!

I haven't done a weeks indicator, and only have one one step test left... do I buy more or a digital or shall I go cold turkey????

I would go cold turkey! I think the digitals with weeks are absolutely the ones that cause most anxiety if they don’t show you the weeks you think you’re at - but again, I am terrible at listening to my own advice 😂 so if you go for it, here regardless!

@Moosh18 the CB weeks ones are also soooo expensive! I've got two left but I am only going to do one more next weekend when I'm 5+4 and hope for the 3+. With DD I did it at six weeks as I was so nervous for a 3+!
