Hey ladies, I wonder if anyone would like to join me, I'm 4 weeks pregnant and am terrified! I lost a baby in June at 12 weeks and had to have surgical management, I'm so so anxious now!

Would anyone else like to join me on our journey! X

Hi everyone! I would like to join too please!
I have a 2 year old (who I am also breastfeeding @ireneadler101) I am 4+2 today, though stupidly did a digital yesterday and got 1-2 weeks which has properly freaked me out. Not much in the way of symptoms - had sore boobs start of the week but now just a bit tingly and reflux/ hungry.
I had a CP in August and it was so much harder mentally than I thought it would be.

blueberry23 · 14/10/2022 14:18

@thosethreewords the digital ones are from conception so that would be right :-)

Moosh18 · 14/10/2022 14:19

@thosethreewords yeah! As @blueberry23 says, that's right at 4 weeks it would say 1-2 those tests show time since ovulation x

Hi @blueberry23 & congrats again to you ❤️ 4weeks+1 according to the app but that's based on a 28 day cycle and I normally have 25 day cycles but literally have no symptoms. Think I was the same with DS1 until about 7 weeks.
Debating an early scan- can't make my mind up at the moment.

thosethreewords · 14/10/2022 16:43

@Moosh18 @blueberry23 thanks for your reassurance! I've done another FRER today (i hadn't done one in 3 days) and it was a dye stealer at a random afternoon test so I feel better!

Moosh18 · 14/10/2022 18:55

I'm still getting cramps and like strange pains? Like back ache, it's really making me worry

Positivethoughts92 · 14/10/2022 23:31

I’ve had really bad stomach pains this evening like af cramps has freaked me out a bit x

Moosh18 · 15/10/2022 05:54

@Positivethoughts92 did they stop? Mine lasted about an hour or so then stopped? I do seem to notice them more on an evening, xx

thosethreewords · 15/10/2022 06:58

@Positivethoughts92 I've definitely had bloating/ wind pain and stretching cramps on and off as well! Woke up in the night with them as well. I remember I had the same with my first pregnancy, which was uncomplicated and assumed it was because of my uterus stretching and growing, and maybe ligament pain.

Moosh18 · 15/10/2022 07:15

I'm so so so bloated! I literally look pregnant! I don't know what to take to try and make bloating go down?! Anyone had any success with anything? X

Hi everyone. I'm with you totally going through this too. 5 weeks pregnant after a loss in August. Feels like a miracle to even be pregnant again already!! and vulnerable to be excited but my husband is encouraging me to have faith and soften into joy that this time all will go well so I'm trying to ignore all the fearfull thoughts which are many. No symptoms yet which worried me a little, but I took a clear blue week indicator test yesterday and it said 3+ weeks, earlier in the week it said 2-3 so I hope my HCG is rising well. Im hoping for all of you healthy babies ❤️❤️ and that the first trimester will go by fast (time seriously feels like it's going in slowmotion atm here 😬) xxx

toadinthehole1 · 15/10/2022 07:58

Hi everyone!

Does anyone else use the Pregnancy+ app?

I am 4 weeks 3 days but the app is showing the 5 weeks info? I can’t see how to change it as the date of last period / conception date is correct!

Nakia4 · 15/10/2022 08:39

Hey I use it too. If you open the app, right at the top you see a profile head. Click on that. Then scroll down. There you see all the options to adjust the due date / add conception info. Hope this helps❤️

@toadinthehole1 sorry forgot to tag you. Let me know if you found it!

Nakia4 · 15/10/2022 09:08

@Moosh18 thank you for starting this thread and congrats on the pregnancy 😍. Here also super bloated, I literally need to unbutton my pants when I sit 😂 and I take my pants off as soon as I get home to get in something comfortable. feels like tight pants put pressure on my uturus or something. Haven't found a solution unfortunately, it seems to come and go...

Thank you! I tried that, it still says 5 weeks with the picture at the top but 4 weeks to go in the box underneath with the due date. Maybe I’ll delete and re-install!

Nakia4 · 15/10/2022 14:14

@toadinthehole1 You're welcome! Ah okay strange. Yes maybe try to reinstall see if that fixes it hopefully 🤞🏽

thosethreewords · 15/10/2022 15:59

@toadinthehole1 I used that app last pregnancy and it is confusing. It goes off the fact you're in your 5th week of pregnancy rather than 5 weeks pregnant if that makes sense? I found it confusing as well

Rlt8990 · 15/10/2022 21:09

Hoping I can join! Around 5 weeks with no.2 bfp last weekend. My cycle is around 34-36 days but little confusing as my test came back almost instantly strongly positive when I thought I was only 10dpo. The long cycle is very confusing ! Already have v tender and larger breasts, a bit of nausea/ feeling weird and fatigue. First DC is nearly 4, feels very surreal to be doing it all again! Anxiety already kicking in at every twinge ! But good to read most are feeling the same

Moosh18 · 16/10/2022 07:09

@Rlt8990 congratulations!!! It seems all of us are anxious! It's a horrible feeling. I just wish I knew all would be okay!

Any ladies who have had previous babies? My boobs hurt so much when I was pregnant with DD they used to hurt before my periods too, but since having her, (I breastfed) they never hurt anymore so, I'm worried that they aren't hurting now, aside from the tiredness and occasional dizzy spell I feel nothing at all.... just the odd cramp x

WhT are everyone's symptoms so far?? Xx

Ooohh ok! Yeah that is confusing 😂

blueberry23 · 16/10/2022 08:23

@Moosh18 I'm exactly the same. A little more tired than normal and a few cramps but that's it! If I didn't know I was pregnant I wouldn't suspect I was if that makes sense.

It's strange to be willing the symptoms to start. I did another test this morning and it's a dye stealer and I need to stop worrying I think x

Moosh18 · 16/10/2022 08:27

@blueberry23 I only have the cheapies left! So haven't tested on a FRER since 13 dpo, and it wasn't quite a dye stealer so wish I'd waited! I tested this morning on one step and it's pretty dark, and have two left so think I'll just use them next two days and call it quits! I prayed for my symptoms to start with DD then at 7 weeks it was like a freight train with sickness 😩

OP posts:
blueberry23 · 16/10/2022 08:31

I think the testing is so bad for us mentally but I can't stop! I only have cheapies left now and I have one a day left until my scan at 7 weeks. I think it's just how I'll get through the next two weeks to be honest.

Though it's silly as I had all the positive tests with my last pregnancy which ended in miscarriage so really it gets you nowhere.

Nice to know I'm not alone.

I'm sure everything is fine for us both ❤️

Mayfield87 · 16/10/2022 09:20

I've only took 2 tests, trying not to test as much this time around. Also no symptoms but with my son I got hit badly with nausea at 7 weeks so I'm trying to go off last time and be a little more relaxed this time 😊 also enjoy some time before I do feel nauseous and sick 🙈
