4 weeks pregnant

Hey ladies, I wonder if anyone would like to join me, I'm 4 weeks pregnant and am terrified! I lost a baby in June at 12 weeks and had to have surgical management, I'm so so anxious now!

Absolutely gutted, it looks like this one’s a chemical too 😔 spotting yesterday followed by a fainter test this morning and more bleeding this afternoon. Spoke to EPU who have advised me to test again in 2 weeks and call them to confirm either way. Didn’t even get to 5 weeks this time, last time was 5.5 😔 x

@Moosh18 thank you, Christmas has generally been a great distraction, a few sad times but still have hope I’ll have a baby in my arms next Christmas, just slightly younger than we originally thought!

Hi ladies, I've not joined in much recently. Just working and waiting for appointments.
Unfortunately, at our first scan today (14+2 by my app) there was no heartbeat and baby was only measuring 11+3.
We announced to family on Christmas Day too.
Absolutely gutted.
But I'll be stepping out and I'm sending you all love 💕

@3ToB I'm so so sorry. Please please take care of yourself. We lost a baby back in June at a similar gestation and my heart was broken. If you ever need to talk plz drop a message. Be kind to yourself lovely 💐

Hi @Positivethoughts92 - I posted in the very early days of this thread but haven't for a long while! Now 37+2 with due date 19th June - can't come soon enough! How is everyone else doing?

I’m 38+1. Pregnancy feels so long but at the same time I can’t believe it’s so soon. Can’t come quick enough for me either 😅

Eeek you’re all getting so close!! I posted on this originally but had a chemical at 5.5 weeks, and another chemical in December. Pleased to say I’m now 23+4 and due in September, hoping this is 3rd time lucky!

I can't believe how quickly this pregnancy has gone. I don't feel ready at all!

Anyone else feeling that way? Im so used to being pregnant now it just feels like this is life and I can't imagine having another newborn at all 🤣

Feel exactly the same. Can’t believe I’m now at the end of pregnancy, I’m going to miss bump. Although, I am looking forward to being able to tie my own shoe laces again!

Hey I commented on this thread when it first started. I have birth to a beautiful baby girl a week a go today. I can't believe how quick the pregnancy went and I now have her in my arms 🥰

Are you both doing much? I feel really exhausted so not leaving the house much. No energy and really not many clothes that fit me well so just hibernating at home and so bored now. I've been on Mat leave for 3 weeks already - I went 2 days over with my first so think I'll have another week or so.

I just feel so fat 😩

@blueberry23 I have a 4 year old so I'm struggling with the balance of resting and occupying her / parenting ! She's at childcare rest of the week though so then I can rest properly but it's been tough over the weekend and has resulted in a few tears ! Feel the same re clothes not fitting. My first was born at just under 42 weeks and I'm desperately hoping that doesn't happen again but my positivity is fading...

@Rlt8990 I have a two year old so I feel your pain! The weekend was exhausting. Mines in childcare today, probably why I've not moved far from the sofa. Just feel so lazy!! 🙈

@blueberry23 i feel so fat too 🙈 the clothes options are seriously limited especially with the heat at the minute. I know you shouldn’t worry about the weight gain but i be thinking how am I going to lose this all after…

I was pleasantly surprised how quickly the weight came off after my first. But it hasn't stopped me worrying about it this time even though I promised myself I wouldn't!
