Awwww congrats @Sweetbabydust1989 I just got home yesterday (Saturday afternoon). Currently in bed with baba and I'm wide awake at 350am!! The joys of things to come.
Such a beautiful name too. Lovely your consultants all came to visit you, lovely news. Enjoy this special time 💖

Well it's Sunday and I am still waiting for the call to be induced from friday! I'm trying to be sympathetic to the pressures but the lack of communication is awful. Iv been in fri and sat for 1 hour of monitoring and then told to expect a call a few hours later that never comes. Keep being told I'm a top priority as baby is so tiny but it just doesn't seem that way. Really disappointed as my little girl has been with her Nan since 1pm Friday as we didn't want to confuse her as we didn't know what was going on. Fed up.

@20viona so sorry you're still waiting, that is really frustrating particularly since your little one is having to be looked after but I think you're doing the right thing to give her some consistency - my daughter is 2 so I do empathise with that and would find it really upsetting too. Crossing everything for you that today is the day and you get to meet your newest addition very soon 💕

@20viona, so sorry that you are still waiting to go in, so frustrating, can you contact your consultant at all? Also midwives advised us to complain to PALS as the more complaints received, hopefully it would improve things going forwards.

So first night at a family of 5 it still feels strange have the other half the night off all things baby as he was a star with all the Induction and Labour... my little princess is drinking so much milk she is definitely a little piggy going to get my head down for a little while.. hope you're all doing well xx

39 weeks tomorrow and had some mild contractions last night but think it was just braxton hicks as were gone when I woke up :(

@Flibbyjibby I’m also 39 weeks tomorrow! It’s so frustrating isn’t it. I’ve been having pains on and off for over a week and they have resulted into nothing. I just want her here 😂

I thought I would be more chilled out this time as my first went overdue but nooo I am still here trying to decipher every little niggle. Also incredibly bored waiting for baby to arrive, even with another little one to look after.
husbands just gone back to work after 5 weeks of summer holidays (teacher) and I’m missing him!

Hi all, good news she's here!

Had a sweep at 1pm, waters broken at 4.15pm, on the drip at 6.30pm, was managing without any pain relief until 9pm when it ramped up and I started gas and air and she was born at 10.18pm. 5lb 3oz and identical to her sister in size and looks!

It's my 'due date' today. (My dates say 8th sept!)

40 week appointment today with the midwife. I assume I'm going to have to start batting off interventions from now on.

Declined a sweep today. He'll come when he's ready!!

Due date today, however I had a consultant appointment and decided to have an induction. Due to my blood thinners injections this is the best option. Going in 9am tomorrow morning and so so nervous.

Any tips on general or what to bring with me?

Good to everyone awaiting their arrivals.. finally getting a routine now.. still feels so surreal that my sienna is here I love her to pieces had a few crying sessions over the last couple of days not sure if it's just hormones I feel so so lucky to have her especially after last years losses I honestly never thought I could have anymore babies but here I am starting over.. my eldest started secondary school this week and my middle child started year 5 they're amazing with their sister. Sounds mental but if I could have more I would now I no why I am 1 of 5 children 😂 sorry to be so emotional I just no you ladies will get it xx

I am jealous of everyone who have things moving at the moment...my due date is Monday but I was really hoping baby would come this week as it's my birthday in a couple of weeks and would love to be home and settled by then😂 Pathetic really.

As it stands I have a sweep booked in for the due date and then they'll book induction for a week later in case nothing happens. Would really love something to happen this week before either of those things are needed, but thinking it's going to take the sweep at least as I've not even had any twinges.

@GlitteryGreen hope the sweep goes well, I didn't have any twinges or anything with my first and I went into spontaneous labour at 40+5, so don't worry if there are no signs :)

@Sweetbabydust1989 lovely that you're feeling settled, and yep those first week hormones are a pain lol. My DD said last night that she doesn't get quality time with me anymore, I had to go downstairs and have a good cry, felt awful.
