38 weeks today, first day of mat leave and baby celebrates by giving me a 5am vomit session.

37 weeks here now and horrific pregnancy insomnia last night, was asleep an hour, then awake an hour in a cycle all night. Obviously my 17mo woke at 530am too 😴

She is here arrived at 9:32 am weighing 5lb 9oz so happy xx

I have started losing plug slowly over the last few days and felt so much pressure and heavyness I feel some body feels done. Got an emergency growth scan tomorrow as tummy measuring small but midwife said probs down to him being engaged. Also back to back to trying to get him to move. Got a feel he's going to be here next mweek..

@Sweetbabydust1989 similar weight to my princess. She's been so sleepy and eyes closed majority of the time, think cause she's so small!!! Congrats and enjoy the newborn cuddles

Well I was supposed to be induced today and there's still no space for me, they said there was 15 outstanding inductions, but apparently I'm high priority due to baby on 1st centile. Went in for monitoring at 2oclock and back home. feel so deflated.

@20viona im part of a pregnancy page on Facebook for girls who are due this month and I’ve seen a few people say on there that their inductions have been pushed back because they have lots of inductions waiting or there isn’t a bed for them. It seems to be a nationwide issue atm. I hope your induction gets started soon x

39+4 today,I’ve had some cramping on and off since last Sunday when I thought that was it. Didn’t sleep at all that night, 5 days later and still got it but not consistently.
got consultant appointment for Monday when she is due, have another decision if I want to be induced or not.
(did decline to be induced this week, as it wasn’t due to danger for her or my health)

Gosh I’m so ready to meet my little girl now, this waiting is driving me mad. 😂

So sorry ladies been hectic I am still at hospital hoping to get out tomorrow woohoo.. I cannot believe the last few days it's been so surreal I thought I had 2 weeks or more left but nope miss diva wanted out 😂 Labour was rather slow I kinda felt like Rachel from friends seeing everyone getting wheeled to the delivery rooms and there's me 1cm at a blinking time 😂 I didn't get my water birth that I wanted but I am honestly not bothered I did however for the first time take full advantage of the the pain relief selection and by god that epidural was amazing it gave me the chance to take control of my breathing and pushing.. we called her sienna a name I have been waiting to use for 9 years my second born would of had the name if he was a girl xx

@Sweetbabydust1989 lol I said that when I was waiting for the waters to be broken, all these women coming in and going into labour and I was not. Ahhh beautiful name, so happy for you x

Thankyou all it's been a whirlwind few days we are finally home had some dramas my milk hasn't come through and not sure if it will had problems in the past I only seem to get drops no idea why they think she may have to go onto special milk to help her gain weight so brought a steriliser which doesn't fit in our microwave only realised this evening so other half had to do a dash to Tesco to pick up more milk will be getting a different steriliser tomorrow honestly if I didn't laugh I would of cried 🤦🏻‍♀️ my boys finally got to meet their sister today and they're so in love with her.. I literally cried my eyes out as I cannot believe after last years 2 ectopics that I would be here with a daughter.. all the midwives and consultants I have seen over the past months which has been a lot all came to see me while I was in the maternity ward it really felt like they were on my journey with me I will most definitely miss the scans and all the annoying apps I moaned about but will definitely enjoy doing all the fun girly things with my only daughter xx
