@Sweetbabydust1989 how exciting! How did you know the waters have gone? Did you feel them pop? I've only ever experienced my from waters going and that was rather dramatic!

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher they did a test in the hospital they took a swab and it came back positive for fluid.. I noticed watery fluid when I went a toilet I just thought it was watery discharge but had really bad period cramps and backache but nope hind waters are leaking so it's been nearly 24 hours adv nothing so will need to be induced today to reduce the risk of infection I am so worried as I am only 37 weeks 4 days xx

@Sweetbabydust1989 absolutely do what feels right to you, but in some places they leave it up to 96 hours after back waters break. More commonly 72. So again, so what feels right for you, but know that lots of healthy babies and mamas can wait until a few more days as long as they are careful not to let anything up inside! sending you so much love, trust and speedy-get-your-ass-in-gear-baby energy! looking forward to hearing your updates

@Celyn22 our hospital want you in the hospital after 24 hours of nothing happening my blood pressure is also high too. I am more worried about her getting an infection.. she is term to them and is a good weight.. I was suppose to have a sweep next week anyway xx

@Sweetbabydust1989 good luck! I'm being induced tomorrow and even though Iv done it before it suddenly seems very scary and I keep putting off packing my hospital bag 🤦🏼‍♀️

@20viona I only packed my bag on the weekend I put it off for ages glad I done it now get packing I have never been induced before so not sure what to expect 🙈 xx

They have a bed for me so have to go up I am not feeling great at all never been inducted not sure what to expect at all x

@Sabiina @madeleine85 so currently on the monitor got to have a drip in for antibiotics as waters went 24 hours ago I am really tired and gutted I cannot have my water birth but as long as baby is healthy I am happy just very anxious about pushing her out xx

@Sweetbabydust1989 my doctor kept saying to me that the first paves the way for the second with births. So hopefully this one is easy for you!

Girls help me out, has anyone experienced cramping but only on one side? Last week I was getting it consistently on a night time on my left side but only for one night. I told my midwife about it and she didnt seem concerned she just asked if it was painful to which I told her it was and she said that it sounds like my body getting ready for labour. Low and behold the cramping is back but it’s on the right side this time it’s quite painful and it’s not like a stop and start but more dulling out then coming back getting more intense but it’s along my bikini line. Does anyone know what this is? It’s only painful when I’m standing/walking and dulls down when I sit down

Surprise baby girl arrived this afternoon!! She is 5lb 120z so a wee baba. Doing well and all is fine so far. Look forward to getting the catheter out tomorrow and hopefully be more mobile post section. Hope everyone else doing ok.

Still here high as a kite and had the epidural as I was only 1cm this girl is being stubborn took hours to get a room I just want to sleep now xx

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher I feel ok thanks. Spinal wore off after about 3-4 hrs. Look forward to getting catheter out and having a good wash and freshen up. I did feel sick and itchy (side effects of anaesthetic) but I got anti emetic and anti histamine for that 👍

Still no baby the hormone drip has been put in now x
