@Redapple21 a dog daycare I use sometimes has an amazing instagram feed. They are called ohhellodog and wow, they go all out for their pups (they are a little bit extra in the best way). I know they literally have people following all over the place, and ones who definitely don't actually have dogs - in case you need a dog fix/pick me up ever :).

Redapple21 · 09/06/2022 22:49

@madeleine85 ahh lovely I will give them a follow! Thank you 😊

HaresHoping · 10/06/2022 05:38

Totally following the doggy daycare insta (I don't have one but I wish I did!)

And yes @Redapple21 I've had that funny vibrating feeling! No idea what it is but it's quite disconcerting isn't it 😂 what on Earth are they doing in there?! M

Oh I'm glad it's not just me @HaresHoping ! Yes so strange, I was thinking exactly that...'What on earth are you doing in there?' 😂 hope it doesn't make a habit of it because it freaked me out ha ha.

Celyn22 · 10/06/2022 11:32

I've had the vibrating/extended movement feelings too (28 weeks)... I was lying awake in bed trying to get back to sleep when I thought "ah it's from now on he'll turn head-down. I bet that will feel funny" and at that moment I felt a tremendous wriggle! It made me jump so much! He must be so big in there now, I can feel him in my ribs at the same time as around my cervix!

annlee3817 · 10/06/2022 12:31

Just had my first growth scan, currently measuring on the 90th centile due to tummy measurement, he thinks it may have been her position. If still big at the next scan in four weeks they'll make me do a glucose test. She's also transverse lie at the moment, which they'll keep an eye on too :) otherwise everything else all good

Sweetbabydust1989 · 10/06/2022 18:36

Bloody washing machine blew up today I spent 2 hours sitting on the floor crying whilst I was draining the thing I hate these hormones it's like when it rains it pours thankfully my dad came to the rescue and brought me a shiny new one being delivered tomorrow xx

LaddieCthulu · 10/06/2022 19:39

I have some vibrating too! This one is so active so often that I was worried it was "bad" at first but the internet says not. So I am just rolling with it, but blimey this one is lively.

I can't tell if the pain around my oesophagus/ribs is just from the awful gastric reflux or is this the pain of my ribs expanding?! Does anyone have any experience of this? It's almost like a pulled muscle when I sneeze or cough but also just hurts so much if I lie down with any lean to either side. I am seeing he midwife next week but wondered if this is just what happens at this stage?

legaltigger · 10/06/2022 21:52

Yes I had real trouble with my ribs and top of stomach last time and I can feel it coming back again. It feels like burning at the top of my ribs.

legaltigger · 10/06/2022 21:52

Sorry I mean top of my stomach by my ribs. I've just woken up 🤣 fell asleep with dd

Redapple21 · 11/06/2022 06:03

@Celyn22 yes I did think afterwards ...I wonder if it's just done a big turn ?? Definitely getting bigger in there now as you say! Glad a few of us have had the same feelings! @LaddieCthulu yes I've been getting a pain/aching at the top/side of my ribs especially when I'm in bed and leaning a certain was just as you describe! I guess everything is being more stretched in there now. The I feel like we still have a while to go too! Eek.

madeleine85 · 11/06/2022 06:32

I’ve had the rib pressure this week, but tonight he decided to repeatedly stomp on my bum hole by the feels of it. Yay pregnancy 🤦‍♀️. Hope he turns over soon!

Oh man when they kick straight down it actually makes me feel a little bit sick!

HaresHoping · 11/06/2022 08:20

Oh god @madeleine85 🙈 I've had a lot of kicking of the bladder which feels v weird but not had the joy of a bumhole kick yet! 😂

Thanks for normalising this, ladies :) I managed to be on my left side last night for some of the night but I can feel sciatica brewing. Prenatal yoga class this keep rning so fingers crossed that helps!

TurquoiseDreamCatcher · 11/06/2022 09:43

Morning ladies, I've had another horrific night of sleep so now have a banging headache to go with my achey hips. I was also boiling hot all night! Roll on September.

I had a strange movement earlier in the week, it felt like my little lady was jumping up and down, the pain shot down my cervix and into my crotch. My eldest never did anything like that, but she was breech throughout the whole pregnancy.

I've had the go a head for c-section, it will be around 13th September. They will write with the confirmation soon. I'm not convinced that it will go that long, I think my little lady will come earlier.

MummyToBe2022 · 11/06/2022 11:31

Morning ladies
27 weeks today and we are finally starting the nursery.
Can't wait to get it sorted then I can go shopping for everything.
Haven't really done any shopping yet because we had no where to store it.

Baby is a right fidget but I love, not so much when it's a good kick though as that is very painful.

When are you ladies starting your maternity leave? I'll be 39 weeks but I work in a school so have the 6 weeks off for summer then going back for 3 days in September because they are inset days and I'll be getting all the book, peg and tray labels ready x

Redapple21 · 11/06/2022 12:23

@MummyToBe2022 same here, I'm a teacher so it feels like I'm starting Mat leave in a few weeks! Im so happy about the timing, can't imagine teaching all day towards the end of pregnancy. I'm also planning to go back for the first 2 inset days and start leave officially one week before my due date. If baby is still tucked inside by then of course 🤣 who knows x

I'm not bothering going back in September. I'm admin and there's no point going for 2 inset days when it's mostly teacher centred anyway !

legaltigger · 11/06/2022 13:25

I'm due 5th September as well so not much point!

MummyToBe2022 · 11/06/2022 13:33

@Redapple21 fingers crossed we make it that far. It's perfect how the dates have fell and if all goes to plan I will go back in summer 2 next year and then it will be the holidays again 😀
I'm counting down the weeks now as I'm exhausted and just want to have a lie in each morning 😂

TurquoiseDreamCatcher · 11/06/2022 13:44

I work term time and I'm finishing at the end of July. I'll be 33 weeks, baby isn't due until 20th September but I don't think I'll last that long.

I went on mat leave at 33 weeks last time and DD arrived at 35 weeks and I never felt that I had enough time to relax. I hope to make to 37 weeks this time, giving myself chance to rest and nest.

legaltigger · 11/06/2022 14:28

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher my friend had her last at 35 weeks and she just this weekend had hers at 36+4

madeleine85 · 11/06/2022 15:55

Love the timing of september babies for all the educators ❤️. A well deserved rest for a year!! I think the pandemic showed us all that you guys do a job that frankly a lot of us really can’t!

@MummyToBe2022 assuming this one goes full term, I’ll probably work right up till the end. Fortunate to have an understanding small company so a lot of flexibility where needed. They don’t really care where/when I work as long as what is needed gets done, which is refreshingly great. I have a big deadline in mid August, and immediately after I’ll be 38 weeks, so can start squatting etc to see if we can get things moving naturally. If not at 39 weeks they will induce me. My waters broke the last time when I tried to do a body pump class online at home (but the plug etc had come out weeks before), so body pump is my optimistic strategy 😂

annlee3817 · 11/06/2022 21:56

@MummyToBe2022 will be induced week commencing 23rd August, but taking a week's holiday the week before, mat leave will start officially though on the 23rd :) last time I was signed off at 32 weeks, holiday from 36 and mat leave started at 38 I think 🤔
