Fingers crossed @Sweetbabydust1989 when I had a sweep with DD, I had the show, but then nothing else for five days despite the midwife being able to stretch to 4cm. With it being seven years ago I can't remember much else.

Sweetbabydust1989 · 18/08/2022 22:16

@annlee3817 I hope so for you lovely I remember mine and that was 11 years ago 😂 I am panicking that my lady is going to be massive not sure how much I should trust the estimated scan weight she is so active in there I think she wants out now xx

HaresHoping · 19/08/2022 07:56

Oh bless you @annlee3817 you're getting all the luck! Thrush is horrid, hope the pessary gets it sorted. I've always found pessaries to do the trick so fingers crossed. Hoping these other symptoms are a good sign for you 🤞🏻 how are you feeling today? When are you seeing the midwife?

@Sweetbabydust1989 lol how many weeks are you now? Will keep my fingers crossed for you that the size isn't wrong

@HaresHoping thanks, hope it does, same as you, they've worked in the past.

No further activity overnight, all seems to have tailed off, will see what happens when I'm up and about, midwife at 10.30

Thanks all. Little one and I are both doing well, we're home so that's great, nice to be in my own space. DD is warily interested in her new sister, but is being very good (and is remembering that Mummy has a hurty tummy so she has to be gentle.)

madeleine85 · 19/08/2022 15:52

@annlee3817 youre so close to done! I had constant thrush in the third trimester. I’ve never been so relieved to have a section and period after to clean things out. Thrush be gone 🎉.

annlee3817 · 19/08/2022 17:12

Thanks @Butterflytulip annoyingly still only 1.5cm dilated and she's bobbed out of my pelvis, hoping if I stay active I can get a little further before Tuesday, but expect she'll be stubborn lol

@madeleine85 ah bless you, this is the first time I've had it, glad it cleared up after you had him. Was swabbed for infection today, so will see what that comes back as, but yes, so close!

Butterflytulip · 20/08/2022 05:25

@annlee3817 is tues the start of induction? Sorry I can't remember.

I'm wide awake and have even since 3am (UK time!!). I did go to bed at 830 with my toddler!! She defo senses something is happening in her little world, she's become clingy and wants to sleep in mummy and daddy's bed. Finally got her down in her cot but it was around 8pm which is late for her.

Can't believe we only have 12 sleeps to go before the big day !!! I have a growth scan next week and my last GDiabetes check up yay

annlee3817 · 20/08/2022 06:31

@Butterflytulip yep Tuesday is induction day.

Ah bless her, so tiring isn't it. Have had my DD 7 in bed with me since 3.30 😴 is yours a fidget?

I keep waking at 2.30am and falling back to sleep around 5am at the moment, no sure why.
