Just starting a new thread for when we need it as thread 6 is almost full! ☺️

@Redapple21 oh I no I am 35 weeks today cannot believe how quickly it's come round I haven't done anything yet it's all still in boxes and packets 😂 having my scan at 2pm today I am dreading it so much hoping to get my results straight away xx

Big lung scan done never felt so claustrophobic in all my life had a massive panic attack so they pulled me out the machine and I had to have it done a different way i was literally trying to fight my way out of it 🤦🏻‍♀️ I felt like I was trapped in one of those sunbeds in final destination 😂 results should be back today I am so scared it will come back with a clot xx

I had to have one of those done when pregnant with dd and I shook like a leaf throughout

@awwbiscuits it was awful I thought it was going to be like a ct scan just a big hole but nope it was like a square plate that was literally an inch away from my face so instead I had to stand in all different ways for them to do it the guy seemed pissed as it took longer 🙈 xx

Scan came back clear no clot I am so happy and relieved!!

Can't believe iv just over 2 weeks to go to c section!! Still haven't packed my bag!!!

@madeleine85 I am so happy right now obviously it's the heat.. her being all bunched up in my ribs and anxiety panic attacks causing it all xx

Glad you got good news @Sweetbabydust1989.

I'm currently on the induction ward, which has thankfully cooled down a bit (was boiling this afternoon.) Having contractions but not officially in labour yet (which is a nuisance as it means I've not yet been offered gas and air!)

@110APiccadilly woohoo how you getting on lovely?? I have just woken from my 1000 pee today trying to get the radio active stuff out of me from the scan 😂 I am so pleased it came back clear sweep being done in 24 days hoping it works xx

@Butterflytulip I am so happy things can resume as normal just have a little guilt that I have exposed my little lady to the chest X-ray and this VQ scan but obviously they said it was minimal risk to her and if I did have it it would of caused so many issues left untreated.. not long lovely I haven't even started been shouted out so many times think I might start today xx

I'm currently adding to both the water and the energy crisis by having the world's longest bath! Feels good though and also if I go back on the ward there are other expectant mums there trying to sleep so I'm going to be struggling to keep quiet so I don't wake them.

I've got a scan today due to reduced movements on Sunday, then a sweep later today, hoping that even if it doesn't work that my cervix will be at least favourable for induction next week 🤞

I'm 37 weeks today and it's all feeling v real. We had our last growth scan yesterday and he's weighing in at 6lbs 14oz. My family kept saying they hope he doesn't get any bigger 😅 and now I'm freaking out a bit that I'm going to struggle to give birth! Does anyone have any idea how you predict the birth weight? I'm guessing if he came at 40 weeks he would be about 8.5lbs if he puts on half a pound a week, is that about right? I have a feeling he's going to go overdue 😩

The main thing is though he's looking healthy, after a v scary first half of the pregnancy when we had 50/50 odds of whether or not we could keep him (I'm a carrier of a rare genetic condition, we didn't know test results until 17 weeks), it's just amazing to have a normal pregnancy experience now ☺️

So yesterday my husband asked if I had my Mat B1 form. I told him that I sent it off ages ago.
I didn't realise that he needed it for his work and he made a grumpy comment saying I should of known with already having 2 children.

Now I'm panicking that I won't be able to get a copy of it because I'm in education and our school is closed, plus our admin is on holiday so I really don't want to be bothering her😩

I'm more annoyed that he has left it this late to tell me because I'm due in 3 weeks.

Can the midwife issue me another or does it have to be the same one?

So worried as I can't be doing with his moaning as I already have a lot on my mind.

@HaresHoping I think they put on roughly half a pound a week, but there should be a chart in your notes that you can work out projected growth. If it makes you feel any better I was measuring at 7lbs 13 at 37+3 😬

@MummyToBe2022 you can't get another mat b1 form, but I'm sure it's only a legal requirement for the mother to present it to work? I could be wrong though

@annlee3817 thanks for replying.
I looked at gov.uk and it said the father doesn't need proof.
I'm just leaving it to the husband to sort out as he's cutting it fine anyway.
He will have to get in touch with HR and see what they say.
I'm sure my admin lady would of photocopied it but still he should of really thought of this when I was 25 weeks.
School isn't open again until 30th and that is 11 days before I'm due 😩
Can't believe he has only just bought it up now 🤦🏼‍♀️

@annlee3817 thank you, I found that too this morning and told him to have a look at it as I could only get so far into the form then needed his national insurance number which I haven't got to hand xx

@MummyToBe2022 DH only sorted his a couple of weeks ago, and we're doing shared leave, so I feel your pain

Oh crikey! I've heard that the scans aren't always super accurate too so hopefully we'll have healthy but nicely slender babes ☺️

So tired been up peeing all night trying to get this die stuff out of me from that scan thing 🙈 thankfully I have no children they went to my parents so I can start sorting stuff out but I cannot be arsed 🙈 xx

@HaresHoping that's fantastic news re the genetic test. Apparently there is a 20% chance of error either side of the weight so don't worry it's not exact. Start doing the perineum massage if you haven't take easy, reduces the risk of tears apparently. Some info I read in my last pregnancy suggested using an oil to keep skin soft and stretchy.

I have my last scan next week at 38 weeks and then it's a week after that to c section!

@Sweetbabydust1989 I’m glad your scan came back clear from a clot. Those injections aren’t fun, I’ve had them since I found out I was pregnant at less then 4 weeks and now 37 weeks 😂

I had a growth scan at 36+3 and baby girl was estimated 7 pound 5 oz 😯 she is in the 90th percentile. However they aren’t worried as she is following her curve pretty good 😌

It feels like I’ve got so much to do but absolutely 0 energy to do anything, any advise on how to get your new energy levels up? 💕
