Was planning to do a blanket but been putting it off because they take so long 😱
I learnt to knit in the first lockdown and am literally the least artsy/crafts type person so it was a stretch but loving it so far!

Re furniture- yeah we’ve been thinking about it now 20 week scan out of the way. Those cots that turn into toddler/child beds sound like a good bet! And chests of drawers that have a changer on top.. anything to save a bit of space!

@squatternutbosh12 yeah the 5 multi use cots are great, ours is now a toddler bed with the side off, so i'd highly recommend. The drawers with changing tables make me a bit nervous, I had a friend with one whose infant rolled off, and he caught him by the foot, and he swung him into the chest by accident. There really is no winning at parenting. I'd get the changing mat for the top with sides that curve up to stop that happening. Though I feel like every baby rolls off something at some point. A rite of passage in parenting!

@madeleine85 I will be in the loony bin by the end of the year with 2 under 3, I'm sure 😆

Dp has suddenly got very opinionated on things despite me talking to him about it for ages - apparently his hearing is only just working on the baby needing things subject 😂

@madeleine85 she was thrilled with it, and has already asked when we can go and pick more things out. Being that bit older she has a good understanding of it all.
Present from baby for her may well be headphones so she can listen to the things she wants without hearing baby noises 🤣

@Ems2208 I was wondering this too! It predicts I would have a girl, but I definitely saw a willy between my little ones legs! So not right in my case

@Ems2208 The Chinese predictor said girl and I'm having a boy.

We got one of those cots that turn into a toddler bed and a few bits I've been picking up from FB marketplace and ebay. We're getting a chest of drawers, wardrobe, moses basket and some clothes from friends.

We knew we'd be having a second so hung onto everything from DD that was still in usable condition. The only thing I need to get is a sling (never had one with DD but not sure how else I'm going to manage running after a toddler with a newborn!) and possibly a double buggy, though they are so absurdly expensive that we might just try and go without!

Any recommendations for bras while pregnant. The time has come that I need something more suitable.

I had my 20 week scan yesterday and thankfully everything went great. I had been getting a little bit worried as i couldn't feel any movement but I have an anterior placenta like other ladies here. Today would be the due date for a miscarriage I had in the September and I'm so glad I have something to be thankful for ❤️

@Littlebutload, I'm glad you had a good scan! Did you find out the gender?

Well I already knew from the NIPT, and we are having a little girl. She was reluctant to uncross her legs yesterday so glad we already knew!

Ah congrats everyone who's had their scans this week and they've gone well! Mine is on Tues and can feel the scanxiety creeping in... but also excited to see baby again!

We've also had a scan today and it's a boy! So excited to finally pull the trigger on the itty bitty sailor suit I've had in my online shopping basket for weeks 😍

Were just back from our scan too! Was so nice to see a very wriggly baby. Im looking forward to opening our envelope later on with our 4 year old son.

I can't quite believe that's us 20weeks 💙💜

Congratulations to everyone who is having lovely scans this week! @beckybloomwood11 mine is Friday next week, also getting scan related anxiety. I basically never feel him moving, so must have the anterior placenta, which adds to the nerves. Such a weird feeling to just be a human incubator with no idea if it is ok/not! Good luck for yours next week!

I’m 22 weeks today and my app tells me baby is the size of a papaya… I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen a papaya, but good to know!

This is very cute! I crocheted a comfort blanket for my little girl this week. So cute!
