D'oh so there's a mix up and my consultant appointment and glucose test are at the same time on the same day at different hospitals! I rescheduled the glucose test but I couldn't get one til 20th June. Hardly feels worth it now.

madeleine85 · 24/05/2022 15:28

Well it I just reached 26 weeks, that means some of you are at 30!!! Congratulations! It’s beginning to feel really real ❤️

Delight12 · 24/05/2022 19:37

Just an update, my baby was born at 29 weeks. I had a seizure while on the operating table so they had to get her out quickly, she is doing amazingly well for her age and is so long, she is no longer requiring oxygen which is amazing. Sorry if this sounds odd I'm still out of it

Beth262 · 24/05/2022 20:34

@Delight12 I have been thinking about you. Congratulations on your baby girl! That is such wonderful news that she is doing so well despite being just 29 weeks and no oxygen already is amazing. I hope you are doing just as well. Sending you so much love x

@Delight12 huge congratulations on your DD being born and you both being healthy!! That is truly incredible to not need an O2 respirator at 29 weeks, she is clearly a very strong fighter, as are you. Wishing you both the best of luck in your journey as I assume she is in the NICU just for being preemie. If you ever need a hand hold through that i'm here if you ever need to PM (each day is different, some wonderful, some frustrating). Hope you are settling into life with your little one. I can't believe the first one is here already, it made me so emotional! x

CoalCraft · 24/05/2022 21:56

@Delight12 Wow, huge congratulations on your little girl, am so glad to hear she's doing well.

Mufflette · 24/05/2022 22:45

Wow @Delight12 I'm not surprised you're feeling out of it, that's quite the surprise entrance! Congratulations, so good to hear she's doing well and I hope you are too.

Isonthecase · 24/05/2022 23:02

Congratulations @Delight12 , glad to hear baby is doing so well! And how are you doing?

Cakecakecheese · 25/05/2022 06:26

@Delight12 congratulations I hope she continues to do well

Cakecakecheese · 25/05/2022 06:32

Finally! I'm 28 weeks with anterior placenta and last night for the first time my partner was able to feel the baby move. Of course little boy then decided he wanted to show off for Daddy and had a bit of a party!

positivevibes22 · 25/05/2022 07:12

@Delight12 Congratulations, I am so glad to hear thay your baby is doing well!

Unknown6 · 25/05/2022 08:03

@Delight12 , congratulations on your little girl.
I hope you and her recovery is really fast xx

Unknown6 · 25/05/2022 08:04

@Cakecakecheese, that's sweet! CN you feel alot despite an anterior placenta?

Unknown6 · 25/05/2022 08:05

Anyone have tips for leg cramps at night! It hurts alot and happens most nights.

Cakecakecheese · 25/05/2022 08:38

@Unknown6 Not been feeling a lot but starting to feel more now he's getting bigger.

Leg cramps are horrible. I woke up with one the other day and struggled to get out of bed. I had to do a weird one legged get up with my crampy leg out straight! I've been doing stretches during the day to try to help.

beckybloomwood11 · 25/05/2022 09:03

Congrats @Delight12 - so happy to hear she's doing well!

PopGoesBang · 25/05/2022 12:30

Ah @Delight12 congratulations! I hope you are doing ok all things considered and it sounds like you have a mighty strong little girl. Look after yourself.

LiMc1 · 25/05/2022 21:58

@Delight12 aww congratulations on your little girl! That's amazing! Hope you and baby are doing okay ❤️

It brings a fresh round of anxiety that anyone can pop at any moment 😬 eep!

squatternutbosh12 · 26/05/2022 09:07

@Delight12 wow congratulations! Amazing news that she is doing so well despite being early, I hope you are doing well too? Must have been an awful stress for you. Take it as easy as you can in the circumstances! First of our babies here already- wowee!! X

CoalCraft · 26/05/2022 10:43

Had my first growth scan today at 27+5. Baby doing great - bang on average size at 2 lbs 8 oz. She also already has loads of hair!

Hope everyone's doing okay xx

Beth262 · 26/05/2022 11:24

Glad to hear your growth scan went well @CoalCraft and really reassuring for you that she's bang on track.

I'm currently at the hospital awaiting examination after a small bleed this morning 🙄 29+3 so he's clearly starting early in the competitiveness stakes with his brother!

Hope everyone else is well.

CoalCraft · 26/05/2022 11:41

@Beth262 Oh no, hope it turns out to be nothing too serious and just some irritation to your cervix or something xx

miltonj · 26/05/2022 12:03

Wow congrats @Delight12 !!! So brilliant that you're both doing ok.

Magik8ball · 26/05/2022 12:06

Hi all, I'm new to this thread but tried to read through it to get to know you all.
I'm also due August 2022 with first child, a baby boy and I'm excited to share this experience with you allSmile

Beth262 · 26/05/2022 12:52

@CoalCraft just had the results of my fetal fibronectin test back and it's positive so looks like another pre term labour for me 😔 Starting steroids this afternoon and staying in for 48 hours monitoring. Can't believe it. I was doing so well on the progesterone - or so I thought!
