Lovely bump pics everyone! It's good to see how different everyone's are. Here's my bump from the weekend - I do believe this is mostly cheesy chips though 😂

@Peauela I’m 19+1 and just look like I’ve eaten too much. Some days I’m round though. This bump is definitely more there at night. I started 10lbs up from my last pregnancy so I think that’s part of it. Currently at my birth weight from the last one 😡. My husband described me as @ice cream cone shaped” but was joking. 20 long weeks to go!!

Also loving everyone's bump pics, you all look fantastic. I think I just hide mine under compression top leggings and baggy t shirts! I don't have a bump enough to wear mat clothes yet, though I ordered the bellaband to make the jeans situation better for a few more weeks.
I bent over to tie my shoes today and couldn't do it comfortably. It is weird what is changing

@annlee3817 I'm getting on ok with the pillow although I had bad insomnia last night. Lots of fluttering and popping movements kept me awake from 3am.

Lovely bump pictures ladies I am 16.5 weeks & don’t have a bump at all but this is my first pregnancy. I am a teacher & no pupils have guessed yet but they did finally guess today when I was interviewing my maternity cover

I am so disappointed with my 16 week midwife appointment. She couldn’t give a time she’d ring so ended up calling me in the middle of a lesson yesterday. I had permission from the Head to answer & ask her to wait for me to go to a quiet room while cover arrived. The midwife wouldn’t wait and just said ‘your test results at 12 week scan were fine that’s all’, she also said something about 20 weeks and 24 weeks? All with 12 year olds staring at me… I then quickly asked her to call me back after work as I have questions. I never had a call back

@Peauela I have a B-shaped bump which doesn't do me any favours. It didn't pop into a nice rounded D last time until well after 30 weeks, so for now (18+2) I'm still glad of the baggy winter jumper weather.

How do "months pregnant" work compared to weeks? Does everyone just go by LMP date and count in months from that or am I missing a trick?

@BlueSky57 That appointment sounds rubbish- I'd be fuming! Definitely worth a call/email to PALS. Putting aside the confidentiality concerns, imagine if that had been a vulnerable person wanting to disclose something, or someone suffering with their mental health who had been counting on that appointment. Awful behaviour.

I saw something somewhere about a "vibrating bottom" feeling. Does anyone else get this? Feels like baby is dancing on the bottom of my uterus!

@BlueSky57 yeah mine was pointless too, she rang me and asked where I was, I pointed out that the text had said it was a telephone appointment, so it lasted for all of two minutes and she said next one would be 28 weeks. Glad I'm under the consultant 🙄

scan was all great, my placenta is lying against my stomach (is that same as you) so I won't feel any movement either! Iv been tapping my placenta this whole time wondering why I couldn't feel much 😂

@GlitteryGreen one morning you'll wake up and you'll wonder where your huge bump came from!! It it's your first it's totally normal not to show until later.

@annlee3817 your bump is huge but small and cute at the same time!

Wow @BlueSky57 I'd be writing in a letter of complaint, that's an absolute disgrace!!! I'd ba asking for another call with another midwife at a planned time !!!

@BlueSky57 wow that sounds like a horrible and quite stressful experience. I hope it resolves soon! Or maybe you can be nice referred to another midwife? I had my 16 week appointment with my midwife in person and had to wait in the waiting room for 1.5 hrs whilst my partner (not allowed in to the surgery) had to wait in the car! She apologised and was friendly but quite rushed as she says they are only allowed 15 minutes per appointment but of course it always runs over. I shall call her in the morning of my next one to check if I should go in later!

I’m other news I am 19 weeks pregnant today, and had my 20 week scan. All was well, and my little one has a willy between his legs!! I was Quite shocked as it really was an obvious image. I knew from the beginning he was a boy, but tried to remain open to being wrong. I didn’t mind either way but was happy to discover my intuition was right. Feeling very happy

@surprised12 how far along are you? Youv got a fab big bump!

@BlueSky57 in fact iv you can I'd register with a completely new hospital. Honestly wouldn't have any faith in giving birth in a place that treats people the way youv been treated. Maternity services are getting looked into, it's all over the news. If you have doubts, move service.

@Celyn22 do you have the scan pic?! Iv been analysing every one of my scans but don't know what I'm looking for if I was expecting a boy? Is the willy really that out there and obvious?! I think I'm Having another girl, I'm convinced!!

@ShiningStarz lol I think the lovely constipation from the progesterone is helping it to look bigger

@BlueSky57 that sounds so stressful poor you, doesn't seem very good care at all!
I had a similar experience with the diabetic nurse, rang out of the blue when I was in work I thought they were ringing to make me an in person appointment but no apparently that was my appointment she rattled through a load of info about gestational diabetes including how if sugars go unmanaged it can cause still birth. Then told me to collect my kit from the hospital. It was so rushed and I honestly feel like I've just been dropped in the deep end trying to manage this.
I think they're so rushed and stretched at the moment but makes you real stressed and rubbish.

@madeleine85 my bump is pretty much the same right now but I'm also bigger than you! I definitely feel it when I bend over or something but can't see it just yet standing up 😂 you look great!

Anyone here swimming regularly? Now iv had my 18 week scan I feel happier about doing some sort of fitness in the evenings. Really need to cut down on the eating whatever !!!

Iv woke up with such a shitty headache. Think it's sinus. Totally out of the blue, I don't even have a cold! Would love a decongestant right now but will have to suck it up !!!
