I donโ€™t know when Iโ€™m due, Iโ€™ve not had a period since DS was born but I got 1-2 weeks on a Clearblue digi this morning which puts me sometime late October or early November (I think!)
Feels like Iโ€™m too far behind the October group but too early for a November oneโ€ฆ anyone due a similar time and want to join me? Would love to have some company ๐Ÿ˜Š

I'm had my 32 week appointment today, I'm measuring 4cm too big so I have to get a scan for too much amniotic fluid, hope the scan is soon, it's worrying when you don't know what's up

GodspeedJune · 01/09/2022 15:58

@justanotherlaura Iโ€™ve been sent for two growth scans due to measuring too big on my bump and my local hospitalโ€™s protocol is to see us within 3 days. I didnโ€™t know that the first time and majorly panicked when they gave me an appt so quickly! Fingers crossed you wonโ€™t have long to wait x

justanotherlaura · 01/09/2022 20:39

Thanks, scan is on Tuesday so not long to wait!

Anonn44 · 25/09/2022 20:26

Wooooaaah, anyone else's bump feel like it couldn't possible stretch any further? 35 weeks, so I know it probably will still grow but omg it feels v pulled and the back strain is getting rather sore now (especially in bed). i wonder if any of us has had their baby yet? ๐Ÿ‘ถ

Annny27 · 25/09/2022 20:28

@Anonn44 yep it's hard! 35+2 and back is very sore and just want to lie flat on my back but we cant haha!

Hows everyone else getting on? :D

justanotherlaura · 25/09/2022 23:06

I'm 36 weeks tomorrow and baby has decided their new trick is to push their bum out my belly as hard as they can. Very uncomfortable! I was going to work to 38 weeks but I've decided to stop at 37 so only a week to go!

GAAJ04 · 25/09/2022 23:13

Currently running myself a late night bath because of the back ache and side ache :( so uncomfortable!

justanotherlaura · 15/10/2022 15:43

How's everyone doing? I'm 38+5 and very uncomfortable now. I had a growth scan yesterday and baby is already 8lbs, estimated to be 9.5 if I go to 40 weeks... was hoping for a nice small baby as it's my first and I was only 6.5 at 40+2.

I blame my husband, he was 10.5lbs but he was a third baby

GodspeedJune · 15/10/2022 17:34

@justanotherlaura Blaming the husband sounds like a good plan to me! Grin Have you finished work now? I also seem to be growing a chunky baby, although less of a surprise as I was 9lb5oz when born at 17 days overdue! Iโ€™m a few days behind you at 38+1.

Weโ€™ve got a growth scan on Monday because my fundal height has reduced, so will be interesting to see what sheโ€™s estimated at then.

I finished up earlier than I'd planned, I was going to work until 38 weeks but I was getting pointless jobs to keep me busy and decided to go off at 37 weeks instead, really enjoying the time to get the house ready. Are you finished up now?

I got a scan because my fundal height hadn't changed in 2 weeks, the sonographer said sometimes you don't grow as much after baby starts descending into the pelvis, hopefully that's the same with you!

Anonn44 · 21/10/2022 23:14

It's so, so nice to be finished work isn't it? I'm the same - loving taking my time to get the house ready and baby prep done, but also just relaxing too. Im going to be 39 weeks on Monday. About to look online for how long after due date they suggest sweeps/induction etc cause im actually not sure. I have a feeling she's rather comfy in there tho! Bump hasn't dropped yet.

justanotherlaura · 25/10/2022 12:21

I had my baby yesterday! I'm quite sore but managing and so happy he's here :)

originally my due date was the 28th but was revised to 24th, never thought he'd actually show up that day. Hope everyone is keeping well in the home straight!

Keha · 25/10/2022 13:13

Bit late to join this thread as I'm due on Friday! But hello, how is everyone doing? Totally exhausted and miserable??

Angelmama1121 · 25/10/2022 15:48

@justanotherlaura congratulations ๐Ÿ’™.

A bit delayed but my baby boy arrived on the 8th October. 36+6.

I got diagnosed with gestational diabetes at 33 weeks and told baby was measuring big. I opted to go for an elective C-section due to my still birth last year as my anxieties went through the roof.
They booked that for Monday 17th- I shouldโ€™ve been 38+1. Well my little man had other ideas and my waters broke in the early hours of 8th Oct. Went to triage, got prepped for a C-section as they said I could still have I one. Whilst waiting for the doctors to take me to theatre my contractions ramped up and I delivered him there and then on the triage ward. A total of 11 minutes from when I said he was coming to pushing him out! He weighed 7lb 5oz and ended up in NICU due to respiratory distress syndrome. He spent 10 days there in total. Got home Monday night and have been in full on new born bubble since.

Hope everyone else is doing ok.

Anonn44 · 26/10/2022 15:23

Wow @justanotherlaura that's madness that he came bang on the new due date! How heavy was he and have they let you home already? Hope you are doing ok. And @Angelmama1121 you must be loving the newborn snuggles now that you've got him home โคCONGRATULATIONS you guys!

justanotherlaura · 26/10/2022 22:39

Congratulations @Angelmama1121 it must be such a relief to be home!

@Anonn44 he was 7lb 12 so quite a lot smaller than estimated at the growth scan, they said he might be 9.5lb by 40 weeks. We got home on Monday afternoon, I had him in the birth centre and you can go home same day if all is well. We wanted to get home as soon as possible and my mum has come to stay so plenty of help, my husband has been great too

Anonn44 · 26/10/2022 23:09

So exciting, and sounds like you're getting settled into life with little one at home โค๏ธ Makes me even more excited for our little lady making her entrance xx

HopefulBeckie · 05/11/2022 18:58

Congratulations to everyone who has already had their babies!!
My little boy was born on 29/10 weighing 7lb 10 and I couldnโ€™t be more happy than I am right now ๐Ÿ˜
itโ€™s true what they say..labour May be tough but once they are born you really do forget about the pain and appreciate how fortunate you are to have a healthy baby.

Anonn44 · 05/11/2022 19:25

Congratulations @HopefulBeckie , sounds like you're in love! Anyone else patiently waiting their overdue bundles like me? Although it seems to be bothering everyone else more than it's bothering me.........the constant messages!! ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ

justanotherlaura · 05/11/2022 21:55

Congratulations @HopefulBeckie! All boys so far, hope your little lady doesn't keep you waiting too much longer @Anonn44!
