Due late Oct 🎃 - early Nov 🎉

I don’t know when I’m due, I’ve not had a period since DS was born but I got 1-2 weeks on a Clearblue digi this morning which puts me sometime late October or early November (I think!)
Feels like I’m too far behind the October group but too early for a November one… anyone due a similar time and want to join me? Would love to have some company 😊

Hi everyone! Congratulations on your BFPs. I just found out I am pregnant and due around 30th October. I am expecting my second baby, I was a nervous wreck throughout my first due to issues with TTC for a very long time. I’m trying to be more positive and enjoy it this time around!! It still hasn’t quite sunk in yet

I had a really straightforward pregnancy last time right up to 37 weeks when I developed preeclampsia and it was a blur after that. I think I have to be prescribed aspirin from 12 weeks this time, but I got off pretty light in the first trimester so hoping this one’s the same… just enough symptoms to feel like it’s real would be nice 😂 definitely hasn’t sunk in yet though!

Is sore boobs an appropriate reason to take a sick day? () () = 😖

That sounds uncomfortable @Raindrops2015 do you have any soft sleep-type bras? I don’t have sore boobs so far (fingers crossed they stay that way or DS might have to give me up as his bedtime milk!) but sympathies!

Still just very light nausea and occasional cramps for me, I can’t complain. But I’m so distracted I’m hardly getting any work done 😣 But I’ve googled a lot if that counts for anything 😆

Hello so pleased to find this group, I'm expecting my second baby due 24th Oct! I've booked a private scan for when I'll be 8 weeks as I know I can't wait till 12. Have self-referred to the hospital too but haven't heard anything back yet (I'm so impatient haha).

@Foxella are you still feeding? That's fantastic. Long may it continue! I'm quite reassurred by the extent of pain I'm feeling. Weird how anxiety can make you glad of discomfort but it gives me some assurance

I am really fed up today. Not only is covid kicking my butt my 12 month old daughter has just tested positive for covid and wants to breastfeed all day instead of eat and my nausea has made an appearance 🤢 nightmare.

Congratulations @soaringswifts and welcome! How old is your first? I’m with you, I’m impatient and want to get booked in but at the same time I’m holding back! I’ve moved to a new area since last time so I’ve been Googling the maternity services to keep me busy!

@Raindrops2015 yes, he still feeds at bedtime and about 3-4am (he has a huge appetite and nothing we do can get him to make it to a more sensible breakfast time 😫) but he doesn’t have much now to be honest. I was lucky and we both took to it - I love the bond it’s given us but it is relentless! I’ll definitely hope to breastfeed again tho.
Totally, just give the boobs a squeeze for reassurance every now and again 😂 but don’t freak out if they feel better either!

@EssieMay sorry you’re feeling rough, and that your daughter has it too 😢 it must be really hard on you but she has you for antibodies and comfort too so you’re helping her so much. Hope you’re all feeling better soon, and that any pregnancy symptoms hold back to give you a chance to recover!

Hello, wonder if I could join this group? I’ve been stalking the October group but it’s very busy and I can’t keep up!

I’m not entirely sure of my dates. I think im currently 18 days post ovulation so late October? It is my 3rd child. Have been trying since beginning of the year and had a chemical last month so feeling anxious this time round!

Doing a clear blue weeks indicator in the morning and feeling nervous!

@Foxella my first is 20 months so he'll be two and four months. These early weeks go so slowly don't they!

@soaringswifts I had the exact same gap between my first two! The two under two stage was probably the most challenging few months of my life but now they are so close and I love that I had them close together! They play so well and have similar interests (now 3 and 5). I had a bigger gap this time though as always wanted a third but couldn’t handle them close together again!

@soaringswifts apologies I misread your post and thought the gap was 20 months!

Has anybody told any family or friends yet? It took me 4 days to tell my husband!

@Bringonbaby3 I’m going to have 18 month age gap!

I haven’t told anyone yet, I think I’ll book a private scan at 10 weeks and starting telling a few people around then

My kids are 16 and 13 big age gap for me 🤣🤣

@raindrops2015 I think my fatigue might cause a bit of a slump in my work productivity haha

@foxella some people find that pregnancy changes their breast milk taste and their toddlers wean off. Wonder if that will happen!

@bringonbaby3 no I have told my husband and also a colleague who is pregnant (because she told me right away!) And it helps to know why I am not just lazy but actually have an excuse haha

@Bringonbaby3 Did you say you have a 20 month gap between your first two? My second and this one will be 20 months apart and I'm unsure of how the dynamics will be. Especially with the pushchair arrangements. Did you find you needed a double pushchair?

@Bringonbaby3 ha respect for having two under two! I started trying at 18 months cos I reckoned I needed the two year gap as a minimum.

Hi, hope it’s ok to join. I am due 24th October, yesterdays clear blue had me at 3+ weeks so guessing that’s all right!
Feeling very anxious as had an ectopic nov 2020 and recently have been told I’d probs my stated early menopause so probably my final chance.
So far had stomach cramps and very mild nausea, in a strange way I want more symptoms so it feels more real!

Hello, congratulations everyone! Can I join? I got my BFP on Saturday, currently 4+2. I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks back in September and took me till now to catch again! Feeling very nervous now but trying to take each day as it comes! Got the BFP right at the end of a really bad stomach bug too 😅 so don't know if I'm getting any symptoms or whether it's just the last of the bug. Getting the odd twinges in my lower left abdomen and had sickness, but both could be the bug!! Ha ha
Anyway I think I'm due on the 29th October, which is so lovely, October is a special month for me ❤ got married early Oct.
