I donโ€™t know when Iโ€™m due, Iโ€™ve not had a period since DS was born but I got 1-2 weeks on a Clearblue digi this morning which puts me sometime late October or early November (I think!)
Feels like Iโ€™m too far behind the October group but too early for a November oneโ€ฆ anyone due a similar time and want to join me? Would love to have some company ๐Ÿ˜Š

@Annny27 I've read mixed things about when you should sleep on your back. I'm usually a back sleeper but got a pregnancy pillow early on and I've been basically training myself to sleep on my side. I think back sleeping is not recommended once you get into the 28 week mark so a while to go.

AbbiL0u · 09/05/2022 16:48

Iโ€™m 14 weeks and 2 days and have had little flutters twice in the last few days, it isnโ€™t like anything before - would describe it as a tickle just for a second? Anyone else describe it like this or is it in my head? ๐Ÿ˜†

Anonn44 · 09/05/2022 20:27

I think I maybe read that it's after 20 weeks you can't sleep on your back? We haven't told a single soul yet - we keep pushing it back (let's wait til 14 weeks, nah maybe 15 weeks....now we're saying 16 or 17!) ๐Ÿ˜‚ How exciting those who have had gender scans. We hope to find out the sex at the 20wk anomoly scan. xx

Anonn44 · 09/05/2022 20:36

@Annny27 yeah you're probably right with 28wks. I don't think we need to worry about it for a while.

Annny27 · 09/05/2022 21:03

We had a scan today at 15.5 weeks but baby wasn't keen to show us their gender haha! Maybe at the 20 week scan they won't be as shy ๐Ÿคฃ

@DogsAndBirds yes I am going to try shove a pillow behind me to stop going on my back so that I train myself in preparation haha!

@Anonn44 it's nice to have a little secret isn't it haha! We are telling some family this weekend.

@AbbiL0u awwh that's so lovely! I thiiiiink I might have felt something around 15 weeks but I can't be sure haha

ThinkingDifferent · 10/05/2022 04:28

I've definitely felt some fluttering myself. Thought I was imagining it but it comes randomly & does feel like a tickle or sometimes a 'spark'. I'm also a comfortable back sleeper & still find myself rolling onto my back no matter how hard I try to sleep on my left.

Anonn44 · 10/05/2022 23:04

Anyone else hugely bloated in the evenings? After a day of food I look like I have a full baby bump, it's massive! But then it's gone in the morning! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Can't wait until I have an actual bump and the secret is out - will then be able to breathe out, not care, and embrace the bloat! ๐Ÿคฐ๐Ÿป

ThinkingDifferent · 11/05/2022 05:18

No bloating for me but I do have a very visible obvious bump so was hardly able to keep it a secret.

DogsAndBirds · 11/05/2022 07:11

I woke up and have the first tiny stretch marks ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ I am prone to them so was expecting it but thought I'd be able to hold out past 17 weeks! (16+6 today)

Annny27 · 11/05/2022 08:08

@ThinkingDifferent I have a bump now for sure (but I am (was :p) a size 6 and have a very short torso.

But in the evenings it's massive and then shrinks smaller in mornings haha @AbbiL0u

@DogsAndBirds Oh no! Time to get using the creams (even though apparently it's all genes) Is it on your boobs or your belly?

DogsAndBirds · 11/05/2022 08:13

@Annny27 sides of belly / hip area โ˜น๏ธ

Yeah it's all genetic so don't think I'll bother with all the expensive creams. Will just use moisturiser as and when needed. I had stretch marks as a teen when growing so knew I was set to get some!

justanotherlaura · 11/05/2022 08:32

I had stretch marks as a teen too, I suppose I'll get them but just not going to look for them! I've got a definite bump already, it feels too early at 16 weeks, everything I read was you'll start showing from 18 weeks but I've had a bit of a bump from like 11 weeks. It's probably food though, I can't stop eating :s

GAAJ04 · 16/05/2022 07:01

Is anyone getting horrible back discomfort and stomach discomfort (under boobs area) - not so much a pain but a horrible ache? I get it but it usually goes within 10 mins of my husband rubbing my back, last night however it lasted 2hrs ish, got so bad I rang 111 (they didn't help much) just wondered if anyone else gets the same? Xx

GodspeedJune · 16/05/2022 21:49

How is everyone feeling?

@GAAJ04 Does it feel like rib ache? Or maybe slower digestion causing bloating/ fullness?

Iโ€™ve had a similar feeling and was googling rib pain in pregnancy last night. Seems to be more common in 3rd trimester but could still be relaxin making everything loose in earlier weeks.

Anonn44 · 16/05/2022 22:20

@GAAJ04 could it be a really bad case of trapped wind and indigestion? Ive had to lie flat on my back until my indigestion pain passes. It's too sore to sit cause i think it needs room to spread/escape.

I had my 2nd appt today and got to hear the heart beat which I didn't expect them to do. That was nice โค๏ธ

Angelmama1121 · 07/06/2022 08:51

Howโ€™s everyone getting on? Iโ€™m 19+2 and tested positive for covid yesterday. ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ
feeling pretty rough but just trying to take it easy. Resting with a toddler isnโ€™t easy but I have no energy at all.
I have my 20 week anatomy scan Monday (๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป I test negative by then). Iโ€™ll be 20+1 which is the same gestation as when we found out all of the abnormalities my son had. To say Iโ€™m anxious is an understatement! We had a scan 3 weeks ago and it all looked ok but baby was too small to be 100% so Iโ€™m praying nothings changed ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

justanotherlaura · 07/06/2022 11:55

@Angelmama1121 hope you feel better soon! I had covid at 14 weeks but apart from a few days in bed I was back to normal pretty quickly!

I have my 20 week scan this afternoon, really nervous now, hoping everything is well. My husband has a genetic kidney condition so really hoping for a good outcome. I watched a programme the other day and someone had to terminate as they didn't realise they both had the condition, not the best thing to watch before the scan!

AbbiL0u · 07/06/2022 12:38

Hope your scans go well @Angelmama1121 @justanotherlaura, mine is on 20th June and feeling anxious too - but more excited than the 12 week, just want to know everything is okay in there!

sorry to hear about covid too :( I am feeling rubbish too, Iโ€™ve logged off work. Full of cold with a bit of a sore throat! I thought it was pregnancy congestion at first but the throat is making me think that it may not be?

Angelmama1121 · 07/06/2022 12:40

@justanotherlaura thsnks, Iโ€™m trying to rest as much as I can. Just hard with a toddler to run around after.

good luck with your scan. Iโ€™ll be thinking of you! Hope it all goes well for you ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

I ended up having to terminate at 24+3 with my son. His abnormalities were very severe. It took 3 weeks to get official diagnosis. That was in November. It broke me! Still not coping with it now but trying to stay strong for my little girl and her (hopefully) baby brother ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป

Angelmama1121 · 07/06/2022 12:41

@AbbiL0u my throat is killing me. Every time I cough it hurts so bad! Iโ€™m also very warm, have a really bad headache, very congested and very little energy. I hope yours is just a cold ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป

Annny27 · 07/06/2022 13:52

Sending you lots of love ahead of your scan @Angelmama1121 ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’— are fetal medicine doing it?

I had mine at 19+4 and all looked good which was a relief!

Hopefully covid isn't too tricky for you

Angelmama1121 · 07/06/2022 13:54

@Annny27 thank you. The fetal medicine consultant yes. Just hoping I donโ€™t have to rearrange it ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป

I'm pleased yours went well. Do you have anymore scans now or not? Xx

Annny27 · 07/06/2022 15:08

They are very thorough, I had mine with them :) @Angelmama1121 and I do have a heart echo at 24 weeks just to check all is okay :)

Oh yes fingers crossed you won't have to rearrange!!

@justanotherlaura best of luck I hope it goes well!

@AbbiL0u not too long to wait now for you :) hope you feel better soon!

justanotherlaura · 07/06/2022 17:47

Everything was fine with the scan, such a relief! I have an anterior placenta so I'll feel movement less which I can see adding to anxiety later on but so pleased everything is fine.

Looking forward to hearing about everyone's scans soon!

Pregnantpolly · 07/06/2022 19:03

@justanotherlaura I have anterior placenta too. Mostly fine.
